Painting with a Twist

The idea of painting, snacking, and drinking is brilliant! Classes cost $ 35 and rsvp early online. My wife and I have participated in 3 painting projects with 30 strangers and an instructor. The instructors entertain us with jokes but also teach us different ways to imitate the model painting. In addition, the studio has a camera focused on the instructor’s painting so that you can view her paint brush strokes on a TV. Check it out!
Typically I attend these and drink a little but the last event I brought Patron: big mistake! My painting turned out so-​so. On other occasions when I have a little EtOH, my paintings look amazing.

I went there last night with my daughter, great place! We had so much fun, great staff, great place all around! We will be going back.

Always a great time here! If you enjoy letting go and having relaxing fun, while creating paintings, this is your place! The paintings are always at your pace but they are in an alloted time block of 2 or 3 hours, so you don’t have all day, but you don’t need it either.
This location is great because:
The owner is really great and has always had excellent communication even by email, when I’ve had scheduling questions or special painting requests. The owner has always selected a really good supporting staff, that have always been fun, up beat, and caring.

This place is great for birthdays regardless of your age. I went to a class with my 7 year old son; he absolutely loved it. They have a calendar on their website where you can see the painting for that particular class. I also went for my bosses birthday. They let you bring food and wine.
Classes get full so make sure you purchase tickets ahead of time. I’ve been there twice and both instructors were great. I definitely recommend.

this was so much fun ! since we started traveling last year we have been looking for a place to do this that was close to our location. from us it was only 15 mins! cmon you cant go wrong with byob and bringin snacks and stuff. the instructor (i forgot her name) was pretty funny but went at kinda a fast pace, which i understand because ya only get 2 hours (3 for a couple). i wish it was a little longer than 2 hours though ya almost feel rushed to get the painting done if its detailed. and its such a good time i wish it lasted over 2 hours ! we had a blast! they do a free painting giveaway too. someone picks a name outta a hat and they get to pick one of the paintings off the wall. (my babe picked her own name outta the hat!!!) she didnt look i swear! anywAys we WILL be back! this tuesday actually :)

I love going here! I’ve been 7 times and I love each of the paintings I’ve done. My husband and I have done two date night paintings and we loved them. My only real complaint is that the chairs are so uncomfortable to sit on for 2+ hours, but that’s okay, because you can always stand up and paint (that’s what I always end up doing.)

Had such a great time here. Will definitely come nack. It’s such a great thing to do outside the normal date night

Though, I had a great time during the event on 13 FEB 2015, I was very upset that we were rush due to poor planning. I brought five friends, all first time participants, and they felt the same. I understand that was a sold out night, all the more reason to had been pro-​active. I would hope that this not a common practice, as I would be skeptical to invite anyone else.

This is awesome concept for a fun afternoon or evening with friends and/​or family. I went with some gal-​pals for a much needed girl’s day out. BYOB and snacks — this would be an awesome date-​night (or day) idea.
Our brave artist leader (wish I’d taken a picture of her) was as fun and colorful as her hair and personality — we loved her, and we had the best time!
Grab your besties, a bottle of wine, and go express the artist within!
