Not good. We were the only people there the chef took forever to come out the sushi was average at best and the hibachi was burnt. My guess is the grill got way to got because it was on for so long waiting on the guy to come cook our food… bleh our noodles, rice and chicken tasted or was burnt. I will not be back

The portions were large and delicious … we ordered the Bulgogi, Galbi Beef, and Dolkatsu and brought home two Togo boxes. We loved the flavors and how authentic the Korean was.

We have been eating at Kiku Garden for year’s and went back today. The Volcano roll was delicious. We had steak, scallops and shrimp and it was the same as always… fabulous. The outside doesn’t look appealing but the food is amazing! You will not be disappointed.

This is the best Korean restaurant near Fort Hood! Little sister is so awesome. Never had a bad meal here. If you invest in getting to know the workers they will point you in the right direction on food and drink, and hook you up!

Was kinda turned off by the look of the outside, the guy sitting by the door cutting meat and the dirty menus but the food was surprisingly good! The waitresses and staff was very friendly especially to our daughter. The food came out fast and our drinks was always refilled at the perfect time. Ordered the Kim chi Pancake, tempura appetizer and Chicken Bulgogi. The sides(Kimchi, cucumber kimchi, rice, broccoli and much more) that came with it was delicious !!! But our favorite was the«spicy lettuce» idk what’s in it but lettuce was the best part of our whole meal! It was so damn good. I know surprising. We Will be back for the food and friendly staff :)

Looks a little scary outside but not so bad on the inside. Polite and friendly with fast service and the food was decent… not spectacular, decent.

Great experience. Awkward presentation. Food was cooked good. Waitress came and marked on my menu what beer wasn’t in stock, a guy smoking at the bar, and sketchy bathrooms. Hope their kitchen is cleaner. Tons of food and will fill you up. Very nice to our kids. –2 stars was for bathrooms and cleanliness of restaurant

Our family has gone plenty of times here. We ALWAYS go for their Galbi and they are either hit or miss. Luckily 4 out of 5 times it’s a hit. We are no longer locals but when we go into town it’s one of our go tos.

The building is a bit dated but the food was on point. Wanted my daughter to experience the Kalbi the way I did many years ago and she loved it!

As others have said, don’t be intimated by the outside. We went for Korean bbq. Service was fast and very friendly. It was really slow for a Friday night. I guess that benefited my family but I do feel bad because it was enjoyable. I only took down a star because the meat was a little fatty for my typical Korean bbq ribs. Side dishes were good and my kids had fun. I’ll be back someday

This is my go to place in the greater Fort Hood area for bul galbee(beef & leaf). The waitstaff is always helpful and the food is delicious.

Don’t be scared of the outside, I promise, its fine when you make it inside! I go there for the korean bbq, never tried the japanese side though. Please remember you are in Killeen, you don’t live in Seoul anymore… if you can remember this you will really enjoy your experience. I think the food is wonderful and it brings back great memories from when we were stationed in Korea. Our waitress is always wonderful and takes great care of us, even tries to find us the side dishes or condiments we describe to here when we don’t remember the names in Korean. Kiku Garden is definitely our go to place when we are hungry for Korean BBQ! Try it you won’t be sorry!

We have been coming here for years and love it every time we come. We usually sit at the bbq table and have the beef galbi. They offer delicious entrées and appetizers as well. The side dishes are great! Very good service and outstanding food quality. Every time we come, it’s an experience to remember!

First time here. Not really impressed. Went here for a friends birthday celebration. We took 1.5 tables on the hibachi side. They only had one chef for both tables and so the food took a long time to prepare. We got our meat first and then veggies about 20 minutes after our meAt was cooked. I ordered the sukiyaki and received the steak. I also ordered the rice and never received it. The service was good about refilling our drinks but the food was okay. There were no sauces like at a traditional hibachi place the soup tasted like lemongrass egg drop soup which I love both but not together. The checks were totaled wrong or had things that we didn’t order. They also put the gratuity on the checks because we were a big party but we definitely get horrible service. Overall I probably won’t come back.

Had a good experience here with the sushi. I lived in Japan for a year and know a few different types of sushi that aren’t found on menus. This place was willing to work with me and custom order the sushi as I wanted. Staff was friendly, place was clean. The sushi tasted great. Only reason why I am giving it a 4 out of 5 is because we had a pretty big miscommunication of my order leading to a lot more sushi than I wanted and a big bill to go with it. Eitherway I ate all of it! The miso soup was so so but free none-the-less. My girlfriend doesn’t like sushi at all, so they gave her a complimentary orange cut up into little sushi pieces. Will def go back.

So, from the outside this place looks a little shady, however, the inside looks wonderful! My coworker and I found this place because someone at Fort Hood recommended it and we were not sorry we came. As we walked in we both were a little suspicious because the outside looks pretty bad. However, once we got inside we both were set at ease. The inside was decorated nicely and was very, very clean. It has a nice little sushi bar in the back and ample seating. The hostess/waitress sat us quickly and got our drink orders. She came back and took our food orders as well — my coworker ordered the bolgolgi and I had the sushi appetizer and the kimchi pancake. Before the main meals came out, we received some miso soup and a little salad — the dishes were the perfect amount of food for starters! I got my sushi and I tasted wonderful! It was nice and fresh and had good flavor. The main meal came out in perfect timing. The pancake was HUGE! Definitely more than enough for two people however, it was just for me. My coworkers meal came out on a bento box which had the meat, rice, a side of veggies, and four California rolls in it. As we dug in, we stopped talking which is always a good sign. The food tasted wonderful and perfectly fresh. I was definitely happy with the portion sizes and what we got. Would I go back? YES! But I think next time I should order something smaller or go with people I can share with. :)
