Discount Tire Store – Harker Heights, TX

I received exceptional service at this shop. They are military friendly and showed me the utmost respect. I recommend this place to anyone. I shopped around for the best deal on tires and by far this place beat out the rest. The shop is very clean and conveniently located next to several shops. I will come back in the future for anything tire related.

I have been going to discount tires since I’ve owned a car. Love their insurance/​replacement policy. I’ve had my current vehicles tires replaced by them and they had to replace one because of a hole in it. They did this no question. Also, love the reminder mails about the tire rotation. I will always be a customer of this place.

I came here actually by accident and it turned out to be a good decision. I noticed one of my tires had a nipple /​bulge in the rear tire. They took me at 455 pm and they close at 5. They helped me pick a tire and finished within 10 minutes. I just got the keys dropped off to me as I was typing this review. GREAT SERVICE! John helped me. They even do price match and he will confirm and hook you up. !.

I came here to get a single new Falken tire & the only problem was, the insurance was added to my invoice without being asked if I was interested. If you charge me for something, you better mention it to me. I don’t do well with people slipping numbers on me & not making me aware of the situation. Other than that, I had good customer service & I’m happy with the results. It took an hour for a new tire & mount. It was a very busy & all their bays were filled. It’s an ok spot.

I received excellent service yesterday May 14, 2015. I went in to have two tires changed on my wife’s truck. Not only did I get an additional discount that I was not expecting but I also received excellent customer service from Jay.
I dropped off my vehicle to get the tires replaced and went back to work. I work a few buildings over west of the store. I got tied up in my work and lost track of time. I called the store shortly before closing and let them know I would be late picking up my vehicle. They offered to hold the vehicle till the next day but I explained I had to go out of town Friday morning. Jay offered to leave my keys in the vehicle or bring my vehicle to me. I was actually shocked that they would do that. He took time out of his schedule to drive my vehicle to my office and pick me up. I don’t know of any other places in this area that would offer that type and quality of customer service. Thank you very much Jay for not only taking care of my vehicle but also being kind enough to bring me my vehicle.

not too happy with them., had blowout on car, suspect the tire was low on air. went to discount tire in harker heights to get an exact name brand replacement. which they didnt have. so they sold me a comparible tire, which was ok, but then the pressure started, the associate was trying very hard to sell me 2 tires, when I only needed one tire. He wouldnt let up, just kept bugging me and bugging me, wouldnt stop. So finally he got it thru his head that I wasnt buying a second tire. Then when I went to pay the associate tried to sneak in the 10.00 replacement warranty., he didnt ask if I wanted it, he told me he added it. I told him I only wanted the standard road hazzard that comes with the tire. This guy was clearly trying to upsell me. Makes me wonder, are the managers getting bonuses for upselling? DISCOUNT TIRE. READ MY LIPS… NO MEANS NO!!! RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS WISHES. Also, when they put the spare tire back in the trunk, they didnt screw the keeper in, my wife heard rattling in the back of the car, and thought there was a major issue, I had to fix it myself. just poor customer service. I was really beginning to like Discount tire,
Also a few months ago, I had a tire fixed there and it leaked, I had to go to a discount tire in another town to have it properly repaired/​
I havew bought 2 sets of new tires from them, at 800.00 a set, some trrailer tires, and car tires. but I am going to go to NTB next time and see if they are any better/

This Discount Tire has always provided great service. I first used them after getting a nail in my new car’s tire. They gave me a great deal by getting the all hazard insurance.
I have been back twice with slow leaks that needed patching and they have been quick to repair (and no charge). I will continue to use them for all my tire needs!

Im in town for the Holidays and my tire goes flat. Its xmas eve and no one is open till the 26^th
My corvette doesnt have a spare so Im stuck, oh well I have a few other things to do in town and luckily I have friends in the area.
When i use to live in Killeen I purchased a set of tires from discount. Way back in the day but they still had me on file.
I show up after airing my tire with a portable compressor. Place was super busy but I told the gemtleman to take care of asap as I need to return to Austin. Within 30 minutes they had me patched up.
I ask how much? No cahrge sir! I insisted I needed to pay something and they just wouldn’t take my monies.
That’s good business. Thank you!

I’ve been using Discount Tire for tire needs for years, for several different personal vehicles as well as business vehicles. This particular location has an incredible group of people providing amazing service. I’m truly grateful and proud to have this business and group of kind hearted people in my community. Today, just 1 week before Christmas, these big hearted people provided a God send of a blessing to someone so close to me. They truly went above and beyond for a family that had a true need in order to keep them safe. There’s no doubt in my mind that their acts of kindness are starting a ripple effect that will make their way back around. Thank you Discount Tire for making a huge difference and for always providing quick reliable and honest service for our community.

These guys are great. I had a flat right front tire, I was driving on a flat spare, had two worn tires on the rear of my car, and I was running late for dinner with my girlfriend and her parents. I got there around 5:50 pm and they said they could have me out of there by 6:30 pm. I explained to them that I had to be at dinner at that time and they said, «Ok. We’ll do our best, but as you can see, we are very busy right now.» They had two cars waiting ahead of me and every bay was full.
In less than 30 minutes, they had put two brand new tires on the rear, rotated one from the rear to the front, and aired up my spare without me even asking. Plus, their prices are outstanding!
I even had enough time to get to the restaurant and have a table waiting for my girlfriend and her parents when they got there.
I won’t go anywhere else for tires anymore. These guys are life savers.
