Barker Heights Bed & Biscuit

Our Yorkie, Winston, loves Barker Heights. They take such good care of him. We do not worry about his care when we have to be out of town. Staff are very friendly. We appreciate all they do.

I have a male Boxer and he LOVES this place. I can honestly say that when I tell him that he’s going to daycare today, he is overly excited with joy! When we pull into the parking lot he can sense that he’s at his second favorite place (home being his first of course). The staff members are super friendly and very attentive to their customers and our pets. I am happy that this place exists here in the Killeen area. Barker Heights really gives my pet the exercise that he needs. When he comes home he simply eats and goes to sleep! This makes for relaxing nights such as this one on a Friday night. I will strongly recommend Barker Heights to any pet owner who is searching for a trustworthy place to have care for their pet. These people are great!

BHBB is the BEST pet boarding facility in central Texas. We have used them for the past couple years and they always remember my 2 dogs and automatically know their needs. The kennels are very spacious rooms that lead to private yards. All of the staff are very friendly and will do almost anything to ensure you pet has a wonderful stay and they also ensure that your every need is met as far as care to the animals. They also offer pet daycare as well as grooming services. This is by far the best pet hotel we have ever used. Highly highly highly recommend!!!

Each time I brought my dogs here, they came back super stinky. The last time, one of my dogs came back with a severe infection around her neck that led to scarring. Instead of taking her to my vet that that’s just down the street, that we trust and who know my dogs, they took her to theirs, who I don’t know or trust. So all this hassle, my dog being all messed up, still got charged full price for terrible service. Then took her to my vet for a second opinion and they were shocked. Took pictures, documented everything and it ain’t pretty. Not going back, found a much better place that we’ll take our family to from now on.

Great place!!! So much space. Took my two fur babies to doggie daycare and the price was awesome! Frequent doggie discounts and military doggie dependent on top of this spacious friendly place = 2 very happy and tired pups at the end of the day. Very clean, cute, and well organized place with super nice staff who obviously love their work.

Service was not friendly. I had my two dogs stay there one night and they were completely neglected. One of my dogs ended up with a bladder infection and the other was throwing up for two days. I highly don’t suggest going here.

This place is great! We have used them several times and will continue to as they really are the best. The family that runs this business hand picks their staff. The place is always clean and is updated with technology so that you can use the web cams thousands of miles away and feel like you are right there! We have never had a problem with anything when our dogs where there. They are very accommodating. Our dogs needed to NBC together as they have never been apart. They opened up a new area just to keep our dogs together. Their staff loves animals. There is a wonderful caregiver named Quentin who was amazing!

The team at BHBB is stellar and professional. They do their best to adapt to their customer’s needs. Initially I had my dog boarded for 8 days. I called in the middle of vacation and said that my dog sitter would retrieve her 2 days earlier. Instead of charging me for 2 unfulfilled days, they agreed to the 6 day stay with no penalty. That’s a first, trust me.
Their rooms are clean and lead out to a private yard. Other boarders have enclosed rooms and the dogs have to rely on the staff to let them out.
Their doggie daycare is stellar and the dogs from what I have seen are always supervised. My girl loves going to daycare twice a week!
They do offer a military discount for boarding and discount punch cards for doggie daycare.
Only wish their grooming offered more services ($ 30) such as anal gland expression ear cleaning, and teeth cleaning.
All in all, the best find in the Killeen & Harker Heights area!

Very friendly, clean and accommodating! They are such a nice group of people there! I have boarded my dog as well as leave her at Doggie Daycare often. I would absolutely recommend this place for dog lovers!

Barker Heights Bed & Biscuit just recently opened, it is a brand new facility. The staff is extremely friendly and take excellent care of the dogs and cats that stay at their state of the art facility. We have taken our German Shepherd here for doggy day care and also boarded him for a few days — both times we had awesome service and our pup seemed very happy. We highly recommend Barker Heights!
