I just hunted around again to find this phone number(to place another order) and saw that no one has reviewed this Bakery. How can that be? So I must! Where do I begin? Last July I turn 60 and Honey Bee Bakery was hired to make my birthday cake. My daughters know that I’m rather picky about cakes. I really can not stand a dry cake. But they’d had a Honey Bee cake before and knew I’d be thrilled. And I was! The cake was exquisite to look at and eat! I wish I could upload a photo!(Maybe HoneyBee has a Facebook page?) My daughters ordered both a cake and cupcakes — as I have 7 grandkids. All were amazing! Truly the best cake I’ve had by far in many years!(And I make a good cake!) Ms Gayler made flowers that were more than lovely to look at; they were delicious to eat! They were not hard flowers, but soft and supple, yet held their form. They weren’t that hard icing that you think is part glue. Or the part cement ones that you subtly remove with a fork so as not to break your teeth. These are amazing and a pleasure to eat! The one drawback to her cakes? Cutting into that gorgeous work of art! So much more than a cake. It’s a true work of art! And, I confess, a true joy to eat! I’ve been so impressed, I’ve made Honey Bee Bakery my source for all cakes and cupcakes. And I discovered she has a signature cupcake… with honey, of course. But with everything Ms Gayler does, the honey is subtle. The cupcake is so moist and nothing overpowers, including the sweetness. A true treat to be savored(for me, with a cup of Jasmine tea… with honey, of couse!) I cannot wait til this gal and her family have a storefront! Oh dear… maybe I should be careful for what I wish. With her storefront will come a demanding business, which means I’ll have to plan far in advance to order her cakes. It’ll be worth it. Her cakes are incredible!
