I recently moved to GA from IL. I was surprised to find my co-workers(some which have been in GA their whole lives and here at work for over 9 years) never tried this place. Today was a new day with a new adventure! I chose this place based on the good reviews and it’s location(close to work in East Point). We had about 5 orders in front of us. The gal behind the counter(there’s 2 — so the line moves quickly) was a pleasure to work with. She helped us with our many orders(we had 2 eat in and 2 take out). Surprisingly, we found a seat inside. It’s a little chilly out(mid 50’s or so — but the outside table each have their own heater lamp, so even if we had to sit outside, we would have still enjoyed our delicious meal). We arrived prime time, I would think, just after noon time. Once we sat down, seriously it only felt like maybe 3 minutes and the«waitress» brought out our food. Let me tell you, it was good! I had a burger, cheese, pickle, no bun and tater tots! It was fresh and exactly how I ordered it! My PIC(partner in crime) said his food was great, as well. He order the sweet potato fries and they come with this magic sauce, it’s like icing or cream cheese with cinnamon — I don’t know what it was — it tasted like a cinnamon bun for your fries — amazing! After we finish our meal(which felt like it only took 5 minutes not because there wasn’t plenty but because it was just so dang good!!), I stood up to go on a venture and figure out how we get the 2 to-go orders we had placed. A gentleman approached me and said I looked a little confused(he was right, there’s no denying that face of mine). I advised him I didn’t know where to go to find the rest of our orders we had place. Literally, like 30 seconds later, 2 bags to go! Cool! He then offered us ice cream, we did not accept but it appeared like everyone had ice cream — perhaps it’s a standard palette cleanser there? A little cup of ice cream — looked good as I saw all the other adults with one(Whaaa — most baby adult cry you can imagine). Hey, who couldn’t use a little ice cream before heading back to work? Needless to say, I’m going back for lunch again and bringing the 2 ladies that ordered the to-go sacks! We’ll make it a girl lunch out! Yum! Yum!

Decided to try slideways today for the first time and let me say this place is AWESOME!!! Hamburger was amazing and also had a side of sweet potatoe fries that came with this nectar from heaven. Do not know what was in it but all I can say is you will want to lick the cup clean! I will definitely eat there again and again. This may turn out to be my hangout lunch spot. It was crowded when I got there and I started to second guess eating but I am glad that I stayed. The service was fast and the food was at the table in under 5 minutes. If you have never been here make sure you do. You will glad that you did.

At the moment this is my favorite burger place in town. The ambience is casual and free. You place your order at the front, pay, then you receive a number for your table and they bring the food out to you. Simple! Just how I like it. After your done you can either take your plate or leave it for the waitress to pick up. I chose to take mines, but if you do leave yours make sure you leave a tip. Check this place out!

I got my meal as take out but the vibe of the place was cool. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. They seemed genuinely appreciative of my business. I got the slider trio and fries, buffalo chicken, cheeseburger and pulled pork. All very good. The fries were OK. I would stop again if I am in the area, next time i would eat there, it appeared they featured a lot of cool local brews

Everything I’ve had here has been good. The burgers are absolutely delicious, and the fact that they have handmade shakes and malts is sheer genius! Convenient location, ample parking, win win win!

Love the idea of a sliders restaurant. You can get a little of everything if you want, so many great options with sliders and sides. This place definitely hit the spot for our lunch cravings. The staff was kind and dining area was clean. Definitely want to come back one day for more.

White staying near the Atlanta Airport, we decided to stop at this establishment for lunch, before heading into Atlanta for the afternoon. The food was excellent, with a lot of options in sliders! And not just burgers, but many other sliders including rubens, chicken, vegetarian and more! lots of options on sides! we had Sweet Potato Fries and Brussel Sprouts, both of which were yummy! And as an added bonus, they walked around and gave us free sample of their soft-serve ice-cream with a salted caramel topping, which was almost too large to finish! My only complaint would have been that the prices were a little steep for sliders…($ 12 for 2 with 1 side and 1 drink) and then they added $.50 for a squirt of bbq sauce on one of them! But I am sure, when back in Atlanta we will return again.

Stopped here while in the area for business, and glad I did! Really good quality food, all homemade, and great beers from around the area. What else could you ask for? Wish I found this place my first night… as this would be my second night here.

Just ate their for dinner. Amazing atmosphere. Very chill. The food was great and came very quickly. I got a popping jalapeño burger that was delicious! Prices were also great and the manager(maybe owner) even came out to check on us. Everything was great about the experience!

My office is right down the street and I was surprised when we ran into half of my co-workers at Slideways for lunch. We do have a cafeteria on-site, so this is saying a lot! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and tater tots and both were delicious. It was a little messy to eat, but that was to be expected. Next time, I may ask for some extra sauce on the side, since I would’ve liked a little bit more blue cheese sauce on my sandwich. The tater tots were delicious. My co-worker had the fish sandwich with onion rings… another winner. Our department will make this place a regular spot for lunch time.

Great spot for a lunch bite. I have been here several times. Always pretty busy and the food comes out quick. Sliders and a side are just enough. Not too much for lunch. And if your still hungry… FREEICECREAM. Nice patio and plenty of seating inside if the weather is bad.

I had an hour to kill prior to heading to the airport, and I found this awesome little burger joint thanks to my compadres on Unilocal! I had a tasty burger, but what really stood out was the soup of the day, which was shrimp bisque. It was SO good! I could have slurped down a gallon of that tasty goodness!

Chicken and Waffles!!! I have eaten here several times and I really enjoy the chicken and waffle sliders with tots! The flavor is unreal and the free desert with lunch is always a great way to make the day a little better. Stop in and enjoy.

They nailed it! So we were passing through on vacation and staying at a local hotel. This place popped up with decent ratings so it was worth a try. First things first… what a great setting and appearance. Set on a corner with great outdoor seating. The inside is neatly decorated and seems to be welcoming. We were greeted by a very nice young lady that ended up being our server. She was very attentive and obviously knew the menu well as she helped my wife with her selection. My daughter had the southern burger, which she loved. My wife had some brisket thing that she loved. I concentrated on my slider trio that was incredible. I went for the Cuban, the Yolo, and the chicken and waffle. Coming from Tampa, I was interested in the Cuban. It was juicy ham and pulled pork with swiss, pickle, and mustard. It was very good and a four star sandwich. My Yolo was a burger, chili, onion ring, egg, and sauce pulling a five star. Next is chicken and waffle which I give the non existing ten star. We split fries and tots, which were crispy and tasty. Food was definitely on the excellent level. All of the above for $ 32. This one is an easy five star!

Good food! Started with the BBQ pork chips. The chips seemed homemade and tasted great. They’re topped with pulled pork and fried green tomatoes. This app is very heavy but tastes great. The YOLO was probably the best $ 6 burger I’ve had. The meat was fresh and well cooked. While the fried egg was overdone, the pimiento cheese added a nice kick. This burger could probably do without the bland chili as it just creates a mess but it’s a fantastic burger nonetheless. Their steak fries are solid and the cornbread muffins with honey butter are great starters. Super unhealthy eating but I’d recommend to others. I’m a fan of the farm to table trend and this place does well.

Please note: our order did not include any hamburgers, so I can’t speak to them. We tried a Classic Salad and a Slideways Salad, both with herb vinaigrette, which was basically just oil, lemon juice, presumably some vinegar, salt, pepper, and some spices. The Slideways Salad, which I ate, was unremarkable — some mixed greens, strawberries, roasted pecans(not candied), and far too many croutons. I decided to try a Fat Boy, which was some sort of concoction involving fried potatoes(french fries, tater tots, or sweet potato fries), cole slaw, and chili. Mine had sweet potato fries. I had run to the restaurant straight from my hotel and back, maybe 10 minutes each way. I don’t know what it would’ve been like if I’d eaten the Fat Boy in the store, but the container it came in wasn’t vented, and so the fries were soggy and the slaw was semi-cooked. I was not impressed. My wife had some tater tots, which were of course fine, albeit greasy(as they should be). Unlike they Fat Boy, they came in a paper bag, which siphoned off a good bit of fat during the drive, and kept them crispy. In terms of drinks, we had sweet tea, and while that was totally fine, even if it’s made in house and isn’t delivered, it also isn’t unconventional in any way. All in all, I was disappointed in my experience with Slideways, particularly considering its stellar ratings on Unilocal.I did not have the time to check on which individual dishes that came so highly recommended, so perhaps your dining will be better.

Definitely a place that knows how to make delicious food! I have been coming for a little over a year, never had a bad selection! This place is a hidden jewel in Hapeville, the owners are down to earth and very friendly! The food is off the chain for sliders, they have some amazing talent when it comes to flavor! You won’t be unhappy!

As Hapeville newbie, I’m on a quest to try everything the city has to offer. I’ve been to Slideways twice, but my first time I went with a group of girls from the office wanted to go out on their own for the first time since our new office opened. I’d been one of the few to venture out. I told them only under the condition that we can try Slideways. This place is hopping when you come in at 11:30 am. This was rather surprising, because we’re use to 11:30 am being the best time to go because it’s less busy. I guess the rest of the Hapeville population thinks as we do. You walk in and you see this giant menu on the wall. Then you see all the delicious sliders and all the delicious sides and all the just… delicious delicious. After salivating for a few minutes, I settled on the Southern(pimento and bacon) and the standard cheese burger. In my first trip, I tried the mac and cheese. Second trip, I tried the fries. The Southern Burger, hands down, has to be the best combination on a little burger I’ve ever had. I think about that burger and I regret getting a standard cheese burger. Don’t get me wrong, the cheese burger is wonderful too. Just… I love pimento cheese so much. The mac and cheese I may not do for lunch again, because it was pretty heavy to eat with a couple of burgers. My second time there I got the fries which were wonderful. They are steak fries that have some kind of special seasoning on them. After our second lunch adventure back at the office, one of the girls calls me at my desk and says«you need to come over here, right now.» Once I walked up to her desk, she stuck a fork in my face. Before me, on her desk was a piece of carrot cake that can only be illustrated in the most upscale fashion. I didn’t hesitate to take a bite. Moist, with some bits of crunch from the walnuts, and creamy cream cheese frosting. Oh my goodness… Slideways has become a favorite staple of our lunch adventures in the few weeks we have been inhabiting Hapeville. I enjoy it so much that I want to bring my husband out there for dinner one of these nights so he can enjoy the spoils of Hapeville like I do.

Slideway’s in Hapeville does a tasty burger. Went for our Saturday night date after we closed the shop up for the night. They have just started opening for dinner so this was a treat for us since we are normally working during the day. The food, after all this is what you are here for isn’t it? Solid burger option choice of cheeses, bacon, fried egg, grass fed beef, or gluten free bun. Burger was cooked perfectly and tasty. I also had the chili which is from an old family recipe. Gotta say this was the chili I was brought up on. It has beans that I love. Some of you Texas influence yahoo’s will claim chili doesn’t have beans. To that I say shut the hell up. The chili I like has beans and I like this right amount of spice and beef in a tomato base. The fries, nicely seasoned, crispy and log style like Arthur Treachers of long ago. Salted Carmel pie. Oh my freaking god was this good. It was all I wanted it to be. Carmel goodness, why is good carmel so hard to find? Right now as I type this I want to eat about 10 pieces of this delectable confectionary treat. If you are in Hapeville and willing to venture slightly off Virginia Avenue you can probably get a better value and a quicker meal than any of the other spots. In a few weeks they will start serving beer so it will be an even better option. Give it a try.
