This place is DISGUSTING. I was looking around for a Panda Express and couldn’t find anything similar but this nasty place. I ordered orange chicken and some bourbon chicken with some chow mien. The noodles were really soft and drenched in some nasty salty and sweet broth. Both chicken were as disgusting as the noodles. Everything tasted the same; salty and sweet. Their portions are huge but the taste isn’t worth it. SAVEYOURMONEY, this place is disgusting. I tasted a few pieces and tossed the whole thing away. I ended up eating at Panera. Even the soda was bad. The Sprite was out and he told me to go to Subway to use their machine and the ice machine was empty too. Avoid this place at all cost.

Not only does the food look unappetizing, but it smells unappetizing. I understand this is fast food Chinese, but damn. The orange chicken? Not sure it was chicken… it was hard and crunchy with no flavor. The fried rice… pretty sure I could have zapped a WalMart brand fried rice frozen entrée and it tasted better than that. I wasted ten dollars on a meal I took maybe four bites of. I should’ve chosen popeyes.

Should have read the reviews first, oops. Food was so bad that I completely lost my appetite after only a few bites. Noodles and veggies were swimming in an ocean of watery sauce. Noodles tasted like raw flour dough. Entrées weren’t any better either. I got the two-entrée platter so that was a waste of 10 bucks. Service was ok. They are in a food court so still get business from poor hungry lost souls wandering about the mall food court looking for something to eat. I’m sure most regret the decision of eating here.

SURROUNDING: It’s in the foodcourt in the Arundel Mills mall, plenty of parking, very safe. SERVICE: It’s food court, their line moves fast… even though I don’t understand why they have a line. FOOD: What in the world am I eating. The taste of the food is almost so indescribably bad that I am finding it hard to write this review. I got orange chicken, pepper steak, lo mein and fried rice. Well that’s what they were supposed to be. The lo mein was overcooked– I couldn’t pick it up with fork, and it was drowning in water/oil– it might as well have been a soup dish. Fried rice was starchy to no end, discolored and smelled of mold. Pepper steak– it had chunks of beef that was chewy. unflavored. what part of the cow is this? Chicken was so slimy and greasy that I wasn’t sure if it came out of the freezer or if it was produced in a laboratory. PRICE ~10/plate. outrageous for the quality BOTTOMLINE I am confident that this is the worst chinese food experience of my entire life. Don’t be fooled by the line. It’s a miracle they are still in business

Food is absolutely a disgrace to Chinese food. I ordered two meals which were bourbon chicken and peppered steak, both we’re floating in grease and the noodles tasted like soaked grease napkins. The restaurant does not sell what is advertised. My advice is eat somewhere else. Side note: my son threw up his entire meal when we got home. Bön appetite

Imagine if you looked up a recipe for Chinese food online then tried to cook it yourself. Also, you’ve never cooked anything in your life. That’s what this tastes like.

Barely edible. The orange chicken was sweet blobs of deep fried dough with not even a hint of orange or spice. The side of overcooked broccoli and cabbage didn’t help much. Avoid this place.

Food was very salty – so salty that I couldn’t even finish all the meat. It was also very sweet so it kind of felt like I was eating meat-flavoured sugar and salt with rice. They also didn’t give me a lot of their tasteless, steamed cabbage to help with the salty chicken. Not to mention their prices are way expensive for Chinese food, compared to other places. $ 10 for 2 items plus rice! Not worth it. I won’t be coming here again and should have read the reviews before ordering. I should have just stuck to Burger King…

O shiz, I found the shizziest fast food Chinese on this planet. The food is bad, but let me tell you about the General Tso’s chicken. It really shouldn’t be called chicken, because it’s 95 percent fried dough. Maybe they were running out of chicken, but that wasn’t even good fried dough. It was soggy and greasy. I also ordered beef and chicken and they tasted like fish… Lotus Express gets 1 star because I didn’t get sick. If I did get sick? I’d have to figure out a way to give this place 0 stars.

Nasty! And they were out of white rice and we waited 30 min for it, just to be disappointed by the food. Ugh. Yuck!

okay. let me preface this by saying i understand that this is fast food Chinese so i’m not expecting it to be like Grace Garden or Red Pearl or even P.F. Chang’s… But seriously… this place is BAD. I was planning to get Subway for dinner but the line was incredibly long. So i look next door and see Yeung’s Lotus Express. It looked okay. And after having been abroad for some time, Chinese did sound pretty good. So i ordered the General Tso’s chicken. First, the good part… the rice and noodles(i got half and half instead of opting for only one) was… edible? Yeah. This is going to be that kind of review. After the rice and noodles, it went downhill fast. The chicken was over-breaded and tasted very mushy and soggy. It was also incredibly greasy, even by fast food standards. There was literally a half centimeter of grease at the bottom of the area in my styrofoam box where the General Tso’s chicken resided. Not sauce… Grease! After eating, I felt a little sick and briefly considered cutting short my shopping experience and instead checking myself into a hospital for open heart surgery. Yeah. This was a bad choice. Even Panda Express would be an upgrade over this place. I’d avoid this place if you are at Arundel Mills.

Stopped at the mall for dinner before going to the airport. I had General Tso’s, Sesame Beef, and fried rice. The Sesame Beef wasn’t too bad, the General Tso’s was bland, and the fried rice looked yellow/brown, but it just tasted like old mushy white rice. The worst part was 1 hr later when it all came out. I felt terrible. I’m just glad it happened sooner and didn’t linger while I had to take my flight. It was almost 48 hours before I felt«normal» again. Dine here at your own risk.
