What a peaceful and pleasant place to spend the night!
Located off Rte 301, but far enough down a country road that it is totally peaceful, we had everything we needed for a romantic anniversary getaway. The wifi is better than the last dozen (or so) chain hotels in which we have stayed. The bathroom was well stocked with many extra towels, shampoo, soap, lotion, etc. The shower might be a bit small for some.
The owners here live on the property. They grew up in the New England area and keep chickens — so farm fresh eggs are an option for breakfast. Friendly and conversational enough, but left us alone to enjoy.
Since they knew it was our anniversary, they left us a little champagne and chocolate.
