Salon 333 took me by surprise. I haven’t gotten my hair cut in over a year, and even then it was from chain salons, so you can imagine my relief when walking into this cute, professional place and sitting down for a brief consultation with Dennis before he began. He didn’t talk much, but he offered coffee, gave me a hair wash that was a borderline scalp massage, took his time, and even gave me some suggestions for coloring — a possibility for next time. He seemed to be a perfectionist and I liked that. It came to $ 50, which is more than I’ve ever paid for a hair cut, but it was professional, thorough, and I’m always happy to support a locally owned business.
