Love this place, thank U Melisa, being new to the area it’s been hard to adjust and trust someone with your hair, after doing some research I came across this salon and saw Melisa had really good reviews, made an appointment and I’m glad I did. She’s the best, excellent service, very professional and experienced. She’s been gentle with my hair, going from dark to light can be very challenging but she’s making it happen and I am Happy!

Had my hair done by Melissa today after booking through the salon’s website. I was way past due for a good cut and color.
First of all the salon is adorable and Melissa was ready for me when I arrived. She did an excellent consultation before we got started and I felt very comfortable with the plan when she left to mix my color. As we chatted, it was clear she was well versed in her craft. I loved that she told me about products she thought I might like based on what I said I already liked and used.
In the end my hair looks gorgeous. The color came out beautiful and I love my cut. I was most impressed with Melissa’s ability to do a blow out and not go back with a flat iron on my hair. That takes some talent as I have naturally curly hair.
I’m very picky about my hair and after today I’ve definitely found my new salon and stylist.

Melissa was my hairstylist and she did a beautiful cut and highlight for me. She was very friendly and gave exceptional service. (: I am currently visiting family in Hanford and usually get my hair done in LA where I now live, but this salon is on par with some of the salons I’ve been to in the big city! Melissa has experience working in the bay area and can definitely cater to the higher end aspects of hair services at an affordable price. Lalalove my new look and will keep this place in mind when visiting my family again (:

They were able to squeeze me in to get my nails done since someone cancelled their appt. I got my a simple gel manicure from Karli (?) and she was very outgoing and cheerful. Nice change from getting my nails done at other places where they make it seem like I’m keeping them from something important. Very happy with my nails (: and super reasonable price! Will be going back to get my hair cut!

Went to have my hair done this morning by Kelly R. I booked it through Unilocal by a link which was handy when my 3 month old was sleeping and it was a quiet way to make a hair appointment.
I have thick hair and I always seem to get commented on it. I have also had hair stylists be afraid to thin my hair with scissors or cut too much off (it grows long quick). However, Kelly was professional and actually sounded positive about the challenge.
The hair cut was quick. The wash left a little bit of residue in my hair line in the back of my head where my hair is the thickest. It took a long time to dry my hair which is typical but she didn’t whine about it like the last gal that blowed-​dry my hair did.
They have the option of an e-​receipt and the email you afterwards as well. I didn’t know there was a shop there until I went. I only choose this because of the Unilocal reviews and I would have to say I agree. It’s small but a good one, very personable and have water, tea, or coffee available.

John did an awesome job with my hair cut! The process went very smooth. Everybody was very nice and professional, I would highly recommend.

This salons not just for the ladies. John the Barber has a spot in the back where he does men’s cuts. He’s been cutting my hair for about 6 months and I always leave with a great fade. His attention to detail when cutting really shows pride in his profession and in giving you great cut. He also takes appointments which is a big plus. I highly recommend John for your next haircut!

What a lovely experience! Kelly did a mani/​pedi for me. She was professional, communicative, and delightful. I will most definitely return when I’m in Hanford for work. Oh, and online appointment booking was the best!

Had a pedicure and facial with Melissa today and I have to say it was very relaxing. This was my first time visiting this salon and I was greeted and treated like a loyal customer. Melissa seemed very knowledgeable about skin care and used quality products for my facial and pedicure. I appreciated the time she put into each of my services I never felt like she was rushing she really made sure I had an enjoyable experience.

I absolutely love this salon. It has a really fun vibe and the staff is friendly. I always feel right at home here. The prices are super reasonable and I’m never disappointed with the service. I’ve visited other salons where I paid more, but got less customer service. Part of what’s really unique about this salon is there is an in house makeup and photo studio in the back. I highly recommend this salon.

I saw Melissa at Deity Beauty recently, and she’s the most talented stylist I’ve been to in the valley. I had trouble deciding what color to dye/​highlight my hair, and she asked me questions to find out what was important to me and what my style was like. She helped me pick out really amazing colors that would blend with my personal style and skin tone. Customer service was also great. She offered me a drink and had a really great beauty book for me to read while I relaxed as she colored my hair. She also gave me an awesome cut! All of the girls there are so nice and friendly! I will definitely be going back!

First lets just start with the staff! They are completely awesome. From the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed. Service was amazing the moment I walked in I was greeted and offered a beverage from soda, coffee, to water. I must admit I have gone to a few other salons in town and paid double to triple only to receive a fraction of the service that I got here. Moving on to prices, they are totally affordable for just about anyone and they use high quality stuff and have a nice back bar and very knowledgable about their services and what they are selling. I love the pomade and beard oil and balm I bought from them too, it’s made an amazing difference when it comes to grooming my beard. All I can say is if you go anywhere but here you are missing out!

Highly recommend to family and friends. We have a large family, ages from young adults to 3 years old. Staff have always been very accommodating, professional and patient. We feel comfortable and trust the stylist. And having a professional photographer in house is an added bonus.

This salon is run by the beautiful, friendly & talented Melissa. They offer a variety of services (hair, make-​up, nails, professional pictures, etc.). The owner & all of the staff are talented & professional. The environment is warm & very clean. This is not just your average salon– the artists are creative & willing to listen to work with you to accomplish your beauty goals without «rushing the process» which can backfire. I highly recommend to anyone in the area & would say it’s worth a commute to get quality at reasonable prices. They also regularly offer great discounts on treatments.
Personally, knowing that the owner is the wife of a U.S. Military veteran makes me want to support this salon even more!
