After one has had beach pizza or fried seafood, the search goes out to find the ice cream. When in Hampton, there is only one place to extinguish the quest for fine ice cream: Stillwells. Stillwells is a throwback to days of ice cream parlors The staff is friendly and the portions are overwhelming. Their prices are very wallet friendly. They fill their cones. they don’t measure them. (nothing sadder than a scale for you ice cream) You can tell their fantastic, due to the typically long lines to get a treat. As a self-​appointed ice cream snob, it’s worthy to note the ice cream is premium Richardson’s. Gelato fan? Good news, they offer that too.

Always a favorite stop when my girls and I are out and about. They serve the best ice cream around and the girls at the counter are always patient with my kids.
I’d take this real ice cream over all those chemical factories (I mean frozen yogurt shops) that seem to be popping up everywhere.

Stillwells serves the best ice cream around YEAR ROUND! If you’re a fan of Richardsons ice cream they have almost every flavor and yogurts too. Must stop in and get a sundae. Great staff and friendly service.

I’d love to say how the ice cream is but I’ve never had it. Three separate time now I have had the door locked in my face… I walk up to a room full of people eating ice cream, only to get denied and told that they shut the register down. as five employees sit there texting on their phone telling me I can’t have any ice cream, my pregnant wife and I have to walk away angry. worst service I’ve ever experienced, worst people I’ve ever had to deal with. I wish I could start a boycott against them just so they go out of business because I am that upset with their terrible service.

I don’t know what the other comments are about but I love the girls that work there. The manager Jess is always so happy and friendly, and the whole staff there always remembers me and chats with me while they get my order. But the best part is they have all the same things in Hampton as in Exeter and in Alton Bay minus the hot dogs and coffee (alton). Awesome ice cream and frozen treats for great prices. You can have a great dinner at los olas then dessert at Stillwells best pairing ever.

Staff at this location is minimal, unfriendly (even rude) fixated on their phone, and getting out on time more than customer service. Both locations have an issue with hair in the ice cream. Long hair should be up and under a hat. Really gross eating half way through your cone to find a huge hair through it. Just gross.
