I never step into an establishment posing as a «Know it All», but I do want to be informed and appear competent when I have to order something for the car or truck. For this reason, when I make a purchase(especially an expensive one like tires) I expect the advertising as well as the salespeople to be as clear as possible. As employees of a business, I also expect you to do whatever you can to make sure I, the customer, am being effectively taken care of, even if that means having to ask additional questions and address misinformation or misunderstandings on my part. You work in auto parts — so this means I think its perfectly reasonable to expect you to make sure the make and model of my vehicle is appropriate for what I’m ordering. NOT order the items($ 1000+) and then tell me when they arrive, they’re the wrong item & I was acting like a know it all, so now you’re going to charge me a restock fee and also have to order a different product. YOU as a business have a certain level of responsibility to your customer, it’s what imparts a trust and assurance between merchant & customer — it’s what makes for repeat business and as it turns out, the type of review your business will ultimately get for your customer service & methods.
