Krony’s Pizza Etc

This is a great family restaurant. The pizza for upstate NY is on par. The wings are very good. The service is good and there is plenty of seating. They have tables that can be pushed together for larger parties and the booths sit 6 comfortably. They put together a well balanced pizza and even have ice cream avaliable for walk up or drive thru for desert.

They have good food, but are stingy with toppings and meat on subs and wraps. Also, takeout orders have been wrong lately. They do correct the order when you call, but what a hassle having to drive back again. So since my last post three more orders for take out have been wrong, with not even an I’m sorry. We have since started getting Marks and Jimmy Zs.

We just had a great meal at Krony’s Pizza in Hamlin! My wife has had their take out before and said the food was really good, so we stopped in for dinner. I was surprised to see so many items on the menu beyond pizza. As it turned out, none of us ordered pizza opting for something different. We had a few questions about some of the menu items, the counter staff happy to explain and make recommendations. I had the fish fry which I give a solid 5 out of 5 for flavor and being properly cooked. Perfectly done, with fries that were hot and slightly crispy. As they should be.

Great food and people. This place is the gem of Hamlin if you are ever this far out! Self service once you order, clean interior, great memories here. Also fantastic for take out, thankful for this place.

They have really good food and a family atmosphere.
Very friendly and positive people :). Nothing rude and no attitudes. Refreshing… We have met up with our family there and everyone was happy with the good food and service. They are never rude if children are with us and that is becoming rare. Families have children. We eat there often and we really appreciate them. Thank you so much. One of our favorite places.
Also very clean. Five stars …

Every time we go here the food comes out in random order, it’s almost comical. Ordered the chili (I know chili in a pizza parlor) but i was craving. Anyways it was absolutely awful, so I talked to a manager. Instead of asking me if he could get me something else, I was told he hasn’t had a complaint about the chili in 18 years. WOW! Brockport here we come!

Went to Krony’s AGAIN this past Saturday, Nov. 18^th, with my family and a couple of friends. As the NORM, the pizza was DELICIOUS. This time we ordered a side salad and it was OKAY, but I would of liked some cucumbers. The atmosphere was great as it usually is. I love this place because not only is the food delicious, and the staff friendly and nice, but the overall atmosphere is wonderful as well. It is not a BAR JOINT TRYING to be a PIZZA place (also tried to be a restaurant with French cuisine)
Not a seedy, rowdy group hanging around the outside, and definitely not in the restaurant. Parking lot also has adequate lighting. Other places should take a few pointers.

The best pizza ever, hands down. The senior staff is exceptional and have been there for over 20+ years and still have a smile on their face. They also take extra special care in prepping your food the way you like it. No other place can do pizza like them.

Mmm. I forgot how much I like Krony’s pizza. I also really love their wings. Fried up nice and crispy, with a nice hot sauce.
Their garlic balls– knots are wonderful.

Those of you who know me (from reading my reviews) know that I LOVE out of the way, independently owned places. I love both the thrill of discovering them AND the knowledge that I’m supporting local restaurants (that more often than not have terrific food).
«Krony’s» is a little place out of the middle of nowhere (Hamlin… not quite Batavia and not quite Rochester) that has been around for over thirty years and serves pizza, pasta, soups, salads, chicken wings, subs, wraps, burgers, paninis, and other assorted «munchies» and «plates». A little bit of everything really. It was lunch time so two of us decided on sandwiches… a «Turkey Reuben Panini» (HOUSE ROASTED turkey breast, coleslaw, swiss cheese and thousand island dressing) for me… and a «Steak Bomber» for my dining companion.
My panini was AMAZING! I honestly don’t know what I liked better… the bread or the fillings. I’ve never had bread quite like that before. It was kind of braided and nicely seasoned and had a wonderful texture. And, true to the printed menu, the turkey was fresh (no slimy deli meat here) and flavorful. The sandwich was huge and a bit drippy and perfect in every way. And, my dining companion’s bomber was just as good (of course I had a bite… need you ask?). Lots and lots of tender flavorful shaved steak on a toasted roll with melted mozzarella and a terrific sauce. YUM!
Next time I’m driving around in the middle of nowhere (sorry «Hamlin-​ites», but I am a city gal after all) I hope to stop here again and try some of the other items on the menu. That is if I can resist ordering that «Turkey Reuben Panini» once again. It was THAT GOOD!

Ordered 2 medium pizzas and 2 dozen wings. It came to $ 43 for that small amount of food. I asked if they could throw in some extra blue cheese and celery… the owner said sorry that will be .50 cents… next time order ahead of time
WHAT? I am spending almost 50 dollars on a small amount of food and he can’t even throw in some extras!
I will NEVER order from them again and would never recommend

Krony’s hands down is the best pizza in the area. I’m not a huge fan of the chain pizza locations around the way so if I’m in the mood to go drive to Hamlin, I’ll definitely stop in. I’m a simple cheese and pepperoni girl and with their additional seasonings, the pizza is just right. Also their steak bombers are pure heaven. I’ve been going here for years and have never had any issues. They should definitely work on expanding in other locations.

Krony’s is a staple out here. I admit that the main reason I go is because it’s the closest place to me, but I keep coming back because their food is very consistent. Hamlin would really suck if I couldn’t go into Krony’s and get a pile of wings at 10pm.

Great wings, though sometimes they’re cooked too long and are really hard. Buffalo sauce has great flavor. Sandwiches are crap. Stick with the pizza and wings. If you dine in they offer free refills which is a plus. The portions on the fries and onion rings are super tiny, though they taste pretty good.

Great pizza, lots of variety of toppping and some interesting specialty pizzas. Wings are great as well. Avoid sandwhiches and wraps, not enough food for your money, fish sandwhich is big but Burger King tastes better. Also an ice cream parlor with a drive thru! Staff is friendly and accomodating.
