Fast service, clean building, tuna hoagie was good. Prices reasonable. Seating area was a little tight and loud but what do you expect for a sandwich shop at lunchtime?

This place is awesome. There food is fresh. I generally never get tuna anywhere, but I decided to try it since it is made in house and had other items. It is so delicious that I often crave it! The staff is very nice and the manager/owner even offered to help me to my car when I went in with my kids and didn’t have enough hands.

Jersey Mike’s is a New Jersey institution that does not disappoint. I’ve eaten many Jersey Mike’s subs over the years including at their original location and the Hamilton Marketplace store presses everything the way I remember it from when I was a kid. My favorites are the turkey, roast beef, Italian, and cheesesteak. DW also gets tuna on occasion.

Just a sub at a location around Jessup MD and it was great. The sub here was not remotely the same. Kraut was over cooked and brown. The dressing was put on the hot meat and not the roll therefore leaving no taste except the brown kraut and pastrami. Location issue not a chain issue.

Can’t say I agree with the negative reviews below. This location is consistent with all other Jersey Mikes I’ve been to. They’ve never been too busy, even during lunch, and quite friendly and familiar for a chain. We’ve always enjoyed their food and consider the«mini» to be large enough for a lunch sized portion.

I don’t know what these other people are talking about. This place makes the best hoagie I have ever had. It cannot be beat!

I am blown away by all the negative reviews. I’ve been going there for a few years and I’ve been there more times than I can count. I’ve never really looked at the meat cutter, so I’ll give some of the previous reviewers benefit of the doubt. However, I’ve never recieved wilted lettuce/tomatoes or hard bread and every sub that I ever ordered was loaded with meat. I think their meat quality is great and for the most part, their sandwiches look just like they do in the posters and other advertisements. My only complaint is that their prices are a little higher than most places and they could use a bigger variety of drinks and chips.

THISPLACEISNODISNEY! Well, well, well… what do you know. I have found one of the WORST place you can go to get your sandwich. I actually went there TWICE!(DOH!) It took me maybe a minute to look over the menu because that’s what people do before they decide what they want to eat! One of the very unhappy employee gave me a dirty stare even though there was no other customer waiting in line! What the heck?! Second, I ordered a turkey sandwich then literally two seconds later I said«you know actually, I’ll have a ham sandwich instead» she said nothing to me and proceeded to cut the dirty meat with her ‘gawd only knows when she changed her glove’ glove. This huge guy comes from behind her out of no where and said to the dirty meat cutter«Ya’ better hurry it up before she changes her mind! Heh. Heh. Heh» …what a hole in the butt. Not to mention, I regret the day I asked for lettuce and tomato in my sandwich as she slowly took the tomato out of what looks like it’s been marinated in some weird juice! This place has the worst group of unhappiest people working here. Sad. Note to the franchise: Sorry this chain is disgusting and for my wasted $ 8 bucks. You might want to re-evaluate the store manager in this location. If you want a good example of what a «good chain» is suppose to look like? Go over to your neighbor DQ, their food is super fresh, super duper friendly and always served with a smile(smiles are free. Heh. Heh. Heh.).

This place is very discusting plain and simple. I went there 5-31-2013 I ordered a tuna sub with swiss cheese. 1st the slicer they used to cut the cheese was dirty and gross it was covered with pices of old meat and scraps of old cheese it looked like they had not cleaed it all day. Next the bread they used to make my sandwhich was out and sitting on the counter it looked old dry and stale. I complained to the person making my sandwhich a young girl who worked there she just looked at me funny and did not correct the problem. I walked out with out a sub and I did not buy the one they made for me. I have contacted the Board of Health because there hygiene practices are far below the normal standards and it unsafe to serve food in this way. I would not go there again for any reason.

For starters, it was too expensive for what I received. It was $ 7+ for a plain wrap and I felt sliiiightly deceived since it said grilled veggies and what I got was onions and some green peppers cooked with oil on the grill and added to lettuce and tomatoes. I thought grilled veggies were more than just onions and a spoon-full of green peppers. HOWEVER, I must say, it tasted good– I didn’t feel that my money went to a horrible meal. I was full and pleased with taste and the people behind the counter. I don’t think I’ll be back but thats because I wanted some more vegetarian-friendly variety– but the turkey subs looked fresh and tasty for meat-eaters.

This place is disgusting. Can’t imagine how they became a successful chain. Subway is so much better and I’m not even a big subway fan. Nowhere near the quality of Primos or even wawa. I went in tonight. Place looked dirty and 2 teenage girls running it. No manager for the dinner rush. I got a pile of mess called a sub and my oil and vinegar was put in a salad dressing container? You can imagine how messy it was trying to put it in on my sandwich so I took a bite of my dry disgusting sandwich and said never again. My kids had the meatball sub and it was pure mush. I think I’ve had frozen meatballs from Costco that were 10x’s better. Anyway I’ll be driving a little further up the street to wawa for a good hoagie. Sorry jersey mike.

Wow — just don’t get it. We saw a show on Travel Channel raving about Jersey’s Mikes with a whole episode about how it started, etc. So when my son had a gift card, we thought we would try it. This is our opnion only, and obviously a whole lot of people feel differently: they are borderline terrible and incredibly overpriced. I went in to place the order and saw prices for three sizes: mini, regular, and giant. By the prices, I assumed«regular» was comparable to a Subway footlong, because JM’s regular price was about $ 7. So I thought, okay, about $ 2 more than Subway. But as I watched her start to make our sandwiches I realized quickly that«regular» was a tiny 6″ sub! Their ingredients are no better than subway, and they had far less«toppings» to pick from. Their«giant,» at about $ 12 was a foot long — more than twice the price of Subway. What makes their sandwiches so awful is the bread — it is just awful and flavorless. And the bread really makes the sandwich, as anyone can layer meat and cheese and lettuce and tomato. We are just stumped by their popularity. i am NOT saying Subway is a great sandwich — but it is certainly better than JMs and half the price.
