Found pizza place off Unilocal and decided to come. Not disappointed. Delicious hand tossed thin crust Hawaiian pizza.

Sice moving from brooklyn i have been systematically trying all the pizza around the hamden area. While it will never be the same, Paul and Eddies is at the top of my list for consistently tasty pizza. Their sauce is not too tangy, and their cheese is delicious and quality. Its super convenient they are a stones throw from my house, however if i cant pick it up, they are more than happy to deliver right around the corner.

First and last experience with Paul and Eddy’s in Hamden. I called in for a medium pepperoni and fresh garlic pizza and 220 oz. bottles of Cokes at 4:56 pm. At 6:06 pm, 1 hour 10 minutes later, I get a phone call from the pizzeria; not from the cell phone of the delivery guy, the pizzeria.(I know this because I checked and the number was the one I called.) I pick up, say hello, and ask if they’re in the back so I could go down and get the pizza. The conversation I had with the person on the other end was absolutely ridiculous! Essentially, Paul and Eddy’s accused my boyfriend of picking up my phone when the delivery guy called and saying that we hadn’t ordered pizza and«that it was a prank»(direct quote). 1. My phone was with me the whole time because I was the one going down to get the pizza. 2. Dan had earphones on, blasting music, and playing COD the whole hour we were waiting. So he wouldn’t have picked up if my phone had rung because he couldn’t have heard it. 3. My phone history had no incoming calls except for the one at 6:06 pm from the pizzeria. No calls from unknown numbers in that 1 hour 10 minutes we were waiting. So no calls from the delivery guy. The cherry on top of this whole RIDICULOUS situation was that a person who I assume is the driver got on the phone and asked to talk to Dan because he was convinced that Dan had pranked him. My boyfriend had been waiting for an HOUR for this pizza. Putting him on the phone and accusing him of lying would not have been a pretty thing to hear. Such absolute bullshit. Absolutely livid. NEVERAGAIN.

It’s the best pizza in Hamden, it rivals the Wooster Street quality and blows away the local competition. It’s worth a few bucks more for a quality consistent pie. Never surprised or disappointed by their product or service.

Great pizza… But way too much sexual harassment. Women are people too. Good Luck.

This is definitely my go to place for delivery pizza in Hamden. It’s consistently very good«New Haven-style» pizza. Good enough to satisfy my pizza craving without having to drive and then wait in 1-hour long lines. That’s priceless. Excellent toppings but an otherwise limited menu. Not really a place you’d go to eat out(unless you happen to be driving your kids home from soccer practice) but for take-out and delivery, give it a try.
