Party City of Hamden

This is a brand new Party City in the space where an old party store used to be. The store is new so the aisles are very clean and organized and I was asked if I needed help at least 5 times while I was walking around this past Saturday. I will definitely be back to stock up for my next party. Also, how convenient is it that it’s right next to the grocery store for easy on stop shopping.

I do really like this store but the prices get me down. If you are throwing a theme party of some sort you will definitely find unique and interesting decorations. I got some great stuff for upcoming birthday parties being thrown for friends. As for any Halloween parties you might be throwing/​attending this month; this place has the most awesome decorations and a HUGE HUGE HUGE selection of costumes. I was so close to buying a Miss Piggy costume but I have no costume parties to go to this year. Anyway, I would have probably bought more Halloween decorations if some of the things I wanted, like a talking skeleton, weren’t 30 dollars.
I waffled between 3 and 4 stars but gave the place 4 stars because everyone who worked here was memorably friendly/​helpful. Numerous times I was asked if I needed help finding something or anything, and not in the way where you feel like they are hinting that you are shoplifting or something. In the way that you feel like the employees actually care about you finding what you want :)
