The best selection of wines, and the service by Steven is better then you could ever dream of. The hotel might be high end but the wine bar is even better(as long as Steven is there)

They’ve got a good selection of wines and spirits as well as pretty decent nibbly things which is always important in a bar lounge. The view can be spectacular, especially at sunset. Definitely arrive early enough to get a good table and be seated to watch the sun go down and the fires to be lit up… It’s very romantic.

This is a great place to grab a delicious glass of wine and watch all the ocean views the Ritz-Carlton has to offer. The menu has an excellent selection! I have recommended this place to all my friends!

A great experience in all! Good wine collection paired with cheese and sommeliers that lure you into a great conversation. Leave feeling happy and having had an enriching learning experience about wines!

The last activity on our Peninsula Staycation was a stop here to taste some wine and some chocolate… And I’ll be honest, this was very nearly a two-star review, for reasons that will soon be apparent, but the over-the-top service by «resolve to solve» staff pushed it way, way up. There were two weddings going on at the RC, so traffic was severely backed up getting onto the property, and I was surprised to learn that there were virtually no «free» parking areas-we had to valet the car and pay $ 10 for the luxury of visiting their site. Grumble #1. Then, when we arrived at Eno, the small room was dark and it was unclear if we were in the right place. I tracked down a hostess from the attached restaurant, who told me that they opened at 4 and there was no Sommelier available. The website says 3 on Sundays. Grumble #2. HOWEVER… She did some investigating, apologized for the delay, rounded up a wine steward who got us seated, and delivered a delicious tray of(complimentary) chocolate truffles. The steward created a personalized flight of wines based on our preferences, and was full of interesting thoughts about wine and about the full fledged specialty chocolates that we also ordered(NOBODY promises my wife wine and high-end chocolate tasting without delivering!). Between them, these two staffers single-handedly pushed this review up to 4 stars. The wines were delicious, the chocolate was adventurous, and it was a very very nice way to wrap up our Staycation! Bottom Line: No place that charges me $ 10 to park so I can spend $ 100 on what amounts to 2 glasses of wine and some candy will get 5 stars.

Come here for the experience.. Not the food or drinks really. Sitting outside right on the water is really relaxing. There is also a fire pit to keep you warm when the fog blows in. Worth a visit. but maybe preparty a lil haha!

Fun experience, with friends for a day on the coast. Paul was a great host and we got to meet Chris Benziger of Benziger Family Winery who told us all about the winery and their methods. The wines came with a tasting card explaining everything, and had great presentation. Unfortunately, we never got the chocolate plate we ordered, however, Paul got us a box of truffles to share from the front desk. We had a great time at Eno! Minus one star for the host who took over while Paul was on break. He was unhelpful, and didn’t seem to care that we had ordered the chocolate, he went to look into it, came back, and never talked to us again. Other than that we enjoyed it greatly!

Great wine bar! My bf and I had a couple of flights and great conversation with the sommelier, Peter. The experience was fun and I would love to try the other Eno locations. On our menu, there was a chocolate tasting section, and one of the options had a s’more tasting. I’m definitely trying it next time! The great thing about the Eno at HMB is that you can see the view of the ocean, as well as the beautifully cased wines behind you. It’s small and intimate, and perfect for a tasting or two.

This such a nice wine bar! Very scenic with a knowledgable and courteous staff. Peter is one of the best sommeliers we have ever encountered:)

This is the second Eno we have been to, both at Ritz Carltons. This one is fairly small(just a bar that seats around 10 – 15 people). Like the other we went to, they specialize in flights(wine, chocolate, cheese). We were delighted to discover that a local Napa Winery was featured for the month and a representative of the winery was present(Terra Valentine). We decided that we had to do the Terra Valentine flight. For $ 40 we had a 2oz pour of their Sav Blan, 06 Cab, 07 cab. We decided to pair this with the Norman Love Black 5 Chocolate Sampler. The 3 wines were lovely. The wine rep showed us a 3d map of region, soil samples, as well as described to us tasting notes and information on the winery. Their reds are definitely made to age as the 06 cab blew away the 07(which is surprising since 07 was a stellar year for Napa cabs). The chocolates were 5 dark chocolates that were virtually identical except for where they were sourced. The point of the sampler was to discover the Terroir(soil, altitude, climate, etc) of each. Truly fascinating. Also Eno sold at retail price(no additional markup) which was a nice surprise. For a flight of 3 wines and 5 chocolates we spent roughly $ 60. I struggle with the price-to-quality given the atmosphere of their setup. The Eno in SoCal is much more romantic and elegant. Selection of wines/chocolates/cheeses — 4⁄5 Price — 3.5÷5 Ambiance — 2⁄5 Service — 4⁄5 Overall — 3.5÷5

A fun experience. This place offeres views of the ocean, delicious chocolates and cheeses, and an extensive wine list. The server, Peter, was very helpful and offered some great suggestions. Based on our preferences, he found the perfect wine selections for each of us! Thanks again!

This place is a dream come true — wine, chocolate and cheese flights? Yes please! It is a very small and intimate wine bar within the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. The sommelier was very, very knowledgeable and friendly and made some excellent recommendations. They have a wonderful selection of red, white, sparkling and regional wine flights. An equally wonderful selection of cheese«flights» and an absolutely decadent range of chocolate«flights» to finish off with. I can’t wait to return!

Great wine list. Fun place to go during a day of wine tasting for serious and not-so-serious wine lovers. They have wine flights that are reasonably priced starting at $ 16 with accompanying cheese and chocolate flights. I took my dad here for father’s day and we had a great view of the ocean and pleasant conversation with the bartender(sommolier?). They also validated our parking for our short visit for drinks, which is rather steep on weekends($ 20 without validation). Loses a star for being slightly less comfy than I would have liked and not having a perfect view of the ocean. Bonus: gorgeous place, gorgeous beach, gorgeous golf course. Take a walk around if you can! :-)

I heard about this place through a friend and I frantically went on Unilocal to look for a review, only to find that there was none! I am very surprised that this tucked away secret getaway did not have any Unilocal worthy visitors whom would have found this to be a small but delightful location especially because of the gorgeous and amazing view, and one of the most beautiful sunsets you can experience anywhere. To start off, the wine bar is very small, maybe seats about 10 people at most, not even, but it also gives the bar a very intimate setting where the wine tender can properly explain to you exactly what kind of wine you are having and why it is good. Having a fantastic hour-long conversation about wine with a true wine connoisseur is an unbeatable experience with the sunset as your back drop beyond a beautiful cliff-side golf course. They have over 5000 wines and the cellar is beautiful :)
