Pizza was a hit, the kids ate an entire 14″ pizza. I had burger patties and wings. A local favorite! Counter ordering but we had table service and bussing which was a surprise. We left extra gratuity on the table after encountering the great service. We will definitely come back.

Big Tony’s is more than pizza. It’s a converted gas station that has a casual atmosphere. They have good burgers and wings and is one of the few places that actually has garlic bread with cheese and not breadsticks or breadsticks with cheese. Can’t say I’ve ever had a problem with service there. Highly recommend it

Excellent local pizza and sub shop. The food is very good and so is the service. We eat there at least twice a month.

Food is good considering there are not many choices in Haines City. Service is horrible, the counter staff does not greet customers and speaks rudely. The kitchen staff and servers look unkempt and are dressed poorly, basketball shorts and dirty t-shirts are not what I care to see when ordering food. They also seem to have a bias based on skin color. I would consider other food options before visiting this dingy place again.

In Haines City, you either have to like pizza or Mexican, for there’s not much of anything else that is not fast food. This places sits on a hill and looks immense. Inside it has more of a «hole in the wall» feel. Restrooms are OUTside. I stopped in for lunch, was greeted promptly and served my Diet Coke while I perused the large menu. These locals spoke with a British accent. I began with a house salad with lite Italian dressing. It was perfect-fresh, cold and with a well-balanced dressing(served in a melamine dish). I liked that the cukes were chopped, the onions and tomatoes sliced thin and the lettuce was bite-sized. I had a fabulous sausage, green pepper, onion 6 inch sub on slightly toasted melt-in-your-mouth bread, hot and just the right bite. My bill was $ 10. A table nearby boasted how good their fish & chips was(cod or haddock). Another lady was enjoying their pizza by the slice($ 2+). The young waitress checked on me frequently, cleaned up dirty tables promptly and gave answers to any questions I had. This was a more than adequate lunch stop!

We are new to the area, and checked this little place out on a Saturday night. Service was quick and efficient and food was great! We are glad we found it and will definitely be back. We ordered a pizza, breadsticks, a sub and the ziti, so we were able to taste a little bit of everything. No one had any complaints. We really were excited to finally find good pizza in the area! Check them out, you won’t be disappointed. Update: — came back for pizza… No sauce on the pizza… They heated up a few small sides of sauce for us… That doesn’t really fix it. A little bummed out that they didn’t just throw another pizza in instead. We won’t be back for pizza. And the search continues.

Yes, it’s cool to get a 24″ pizza. But don’t eat at the restaurant. The place is dirty, poor service and it’s just a old location. Food is ok depending what you order. Pizza is not bad but not the best. But their salad is nasty, their calzone is cold when it is served and you have to get your servers attention to get refills by walking up to the register and interrupt their personal conversation. Best bet… go to Hungry Howies.

I’ve only ever gotten slices from Big Tony’s, so I can’t speak for the rest of their menu. I’ve tried pizza from just about every place locally and I keep coming back to Tony’s. Crispy crust, delicious sauce and quality cheese. That’s all it takes to really satisfy me. Everybody I’ve ever shared with says it’s the best pizza they’ve had in the area. If you like grease dripping pizza, don’t go to Tony’s. You won’t find that there. The pizza is crispy, just perfectly thin, and delicious. If you hate pizza, go somewhere else. If you love pizza, go to Tony’s.

Let me preface this review by saying I’m not from NY or Chicago, which both claim to be the Holy Grail of pizza locations and thus I’m assuming the cause of the other two low reviews. We have visited on numerous occasions and love the pizza. I enjoy that they use fresh mushrooms and not canned, I love the sliced sausage rather than ground sausage and enjoy the thin crust. It’s always fresh. Try the meatball sub, you won’t regret it. My kids and I love this place. The service is great and I’ve actually had them cater a spaghetti dinner at work as well. The owners and staff are always friendly. Love this place. It’s the best pizza you’ll find in this area!

Upon a trip to Florida with friends, we wanted to venture into the ‘towns’ and not just stay in the touristy, Orlando area. We set out to find a pizza shop and see how Florida pizza tasted compared to pizza back home… NY. We saw this place and how they claim to have ‘NY style’ so we said why not. Its narrow when first entering here, but they have a larger dining room towards the back. We ordered 3 waters, and a large cheese pizza w ricotta cheese on the side. We went to gulp down the waters and about half way down the glass, we all stopped and stared at one another… Something was SOWRONG. The water tasted like sulfur. In NY we are lucky to have excellent water, especially in Westchester County so this was a huge and disgusting surprise. To replace the water we asked for 3 Diet Cokes instead. um…SAME gross issue. They must use the fake soda w the flavoring attached to the water line. I’m sorry but Florida locals or not, no one wants to taste sulfur in anything. I don’t why they haven’t shelled out the cash to install a water softener which will take away the taste and clean the water up. If you have an establishment; this should be required. No excuses. We managed to wolf down the pizza b/c we were legit starving but it was not exactly satisfying. I wish we picked another place or perhaps some other food on the menu would have been more appetizing. Sorry Big Tony, but New York, you are NOT.

Hey big tony please close this place you are misleading the public with this horrible«pizza» you are serving the public. It pisses me off to even call this stuff pizza. One bad thing is ok but 93.00 worth of pizza with different toppings that all sucked is not acceptable. The wings sucked the toppings sucked the fries sucked. All in all I truly don’t know why this place is open there’s no way the people can think anything about this is good. No sir not me. It won’t let me leave no stars so I’ll leave you one and that one star you should cut your wrists

This pizza place is awesome. Huge dining room and friendly staff. Here’s what we tried: Grandma’s Pizza — Holy garlic, batman… this one had a great kick and is awesome as long as you don’t have to talk to anybody for a few hours! Mozzarella, ricotta, romano, garlic, olive oil and red or white sauce. This one kicked butt. Veggie Pizza — tons o’ veggies. This one was also a winner. Their dough and sauce rock. Pepperoni Pizza — lots of pepperonis… Excellent. Breadsticks — a huge order of breadsticks. Almost like another whole pizza! Came with a huge order of marinara dipping sauce and garlic butter.
