Debra Rusenko is a superb acupuncturist. She gets the job done. In the best way she is impatient for good results. If the treatment is not working quickly, she will change the treatment to help me get better as soon as possible. Furthermore, she is compassionate and has a smart sense of humor. I recommend her to someone every week.
Debra has helped me with shoulder pain and low back pain. She has helped me with fatigue. She has even used electro-​acupuncture to speed up would healing after surgery.

As an acupuncturist, she is the best in the region, however her practice also includes adjunct Chinese medicine. Having had acupuncture throughout my life, I was fortunate to receive a very unique and special treatment from Deb. This therapeutic treatment involved the combination of acupoint therapy with essential oils, or aromatherapy. As an avid practitioner of yoga, meditation and various types of massage and bodywork, I am very aware of what’s happening in my body, and the deep, profound relaxation I experienced during this session was not of an ordinary nature. It was the kind of extremely deep relaxation that associated with a genuine reversal of stress-​related syndromes, or any type of illness or condition where one’s nervous system is exhausted, or stress levels are high. Very deep and complete relaxation of the mind and body is hard to come by, and people spend years attempting to achieve such states. In all sincerity, within minutes I had achieved that state, and felt profoundly renewed on a deep level after the session. I know others who have seen Deb for various injuries or conditions and they, too, have been incredibly impressed by her ability to pinpoint what needs to be done to get you — the client — back to a place where you are not «afflicted» by whatever brought you into her office, be it pain, fatigue, allergies, or any other issue that is causing you discomfort and causing you unwanted distress. There are great acupuncturists and healers in the Pioneer Valley, and I have received benefit from several of them. Deb is special: she sees the proverbial forest from the trees, and also everything in between that is ordinarily unseen.
