I’ve only eaten here once and I can’t wait to go back. The prices are reasonable and the food portions are wonderful. The food came out really quick and the service was very well. The only complaint I have is how close some of the seating is to the other tables right next to you. I felt like they were in my conversation the whole time, but it’s not enough to stop me from coming back.

I stopped here after checking out a nearby apartment. Food was edible. Service was okay. There was nothing special here though that would make me sprint back.

The place and food is just average. Nothing spectaular. I had the Turkey Brie sandwhich and they were very accomodating in customizing my sandwhich. Food is pretty good, but a bit overpriced. Expect to spend around $ 10+ for a sandwhich plus $ 1-$ 2 more if you want to substitute anything such as salad or fruit cup instead of fries. They have a few outdoor seating tables in the front too, but gets a bit loud with the Kings Hwy traffic. Overall, its a good place to grab a quick lunch but it’s nothing spectacular.

I debated with myself over giving this diner-esque bistro the fifth star. Having only sampled 2 breakfast choices, I felt I should hold back on that distinction for now. But I will say this: my pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes were the stuff of 5 star dreams. We came back to Haddonfield on a Saturday morning because earlier in the week I noticed the breakfast specials. When I saw those 4 words it was all I could think about for days. Thankfully it was still an option, and I hope this stays a special for the whole fall. I don’t order pancakes often, but if I was a local in this area I would get them at least once a week. 4 perfectly griddled cakes of pumpkin-liciousness. But with choc chips to raise the bar further. As if this wasn’t enough the platter came with decadent pumpkin whipped cream. I’ll move on because I’m drooling just thinking about them. My gf ordered banana chocolate chip pancakes and these were equally perfect, with the bananas added to the batter instead of just being sliced onto the top. She utilized some of the pumpkin whipped cream as there was a copious amount on my dish. Our server was super friendly and helpful. The business itself was spotless, and seemed to be serving a lot of happy eaters. Both of our breakfasts were so good I am tempted to try lunch or dinner fare here. But not until I satisfy my pancake desires a few more times. 4.5 Autumn spiced Unilocal

Such a yummy and happy experience! I had been here when it was ‘The Corner Bistro’ some years ago for lunch w/my mom. Saturday, my Vince and I went for their pumpkin pancakes we saw advertised on a chalk board earlier in the week. I actually wound up getting the banana chocolate chip pancakes instead. They were sooo good — great delish pancakes, shaped nicely and of course the chocolate chips(some crispy) put them over the top! Such a great combination! Vince had the pumpkin pancakes and they were generously adorned with pumpkin whip cream that I just HAD to try! It was so light and tasty that it even went w/mine. Our waitress was cute and nice and even let us move to a booth with a great view. We were attentively waited on as well. The owner thought the pumpkin pancakes w/b on the menu until November and we’re definitely going back b/f they leave for the season!

Love this town and this bistro is a nice affordable option to dine at while you are there! Attentive service and well thought out menu make this restaurant a staple that is not going anywhere anytime soon.

Nestled in the quaint town of Haddonfield is this gem of a restaurant. They have tables and a few booths inside with outdoor dining. My husband and I usually frequent diners on the weekend. Thought we would try something different. We had, calamari as an appetizer. And it was one of the best we’ve had. I had the special pancakes with walnuts and banana which was excellent and my husband had the beef brisket which was about average. Hubby loved my pancakes. We will probably come back. Love this Haddonfield area.

Totally not what I was expecting. Judging this place by the name«bistro» and by the whole outer appearance, I expected so much more from it. I ordered the Mediterranean plate as an appetizer, was really flavorful, and the lamb burger for my entrée which was also very good. The burger came on an «artisan roll» which was really like a flatbread that you make panini’s on so that was pretty weird so I just ate the meat. Don’t get me wrong, the food was decent but it is really just an overpriced diner. Looks, smells and feels like a diner. I probably won’t be returning.

Fabulous Mediterranean food and phenomenal service! Wonderful atmosphere and location with outdoors seating available. Tzatziki sauce is a flavorful addition to any entrée or salad and a must try. Gyro meat melts in your mouth and falafel is authentic and savory.

The fig salad is awesome! That is my go to menu option! However, the crab bread is out of this world! So flavorful and cheesy! The portion is definitely large enough to share. I love sitting outside during the nice weather to people watch. My colleagues and I eat here weekly. You won’t be disappointed.

I’m not sure how this place is ranked number one. I sat there with my friend for fifteen minutes without being greeted by a server before walking out. The tables around us were being waited on and asking what they wanted for their drink orders. Not a single server even looked at our table to see if we had anything that we needed. It wasn’t crowded. Poor service. The menu didn’t even look that appetizing — must have been a blessing in disguise to walk out.

I would probably give this place 3 ½ stars. Nice location. Great waitress. Ok good. We went here for breakfast and I ordered the crab cake Benedict(I don’t think that’s the actual name but that is what it was), with pork belly on the side. My boyfriend had sausage and gravy with a side of French toast. He said his gravy was too sweet(any amount of sweetness should be too sweet). My breakfast was ok; the pork belly was nice and crispy as advertised, the crab cakes were satisfactory but my tastebuds yearned for more flavor. Our waitress Jacinta was nice without being overbearing. I observed how she dealt with a mentally challenged man who entered the restaurant and asked for a application. She was great with him, answered his questions and remained upbeat and positive. Before leaving(and after asking her what her favorite color and birthdate was) he held up his arms and she embraced him. That was great. Btw, she not only told him her favorite color but asked him his. He proudly said blue. She was a rock star! I’d go back for the outdoor seating, friendly service and because the food wasn’t horrible.

What does one say about a three star rating when the only word that comes to mind is AVERAGE.

My lady friend and I have been here a few times. Breakfast was quite good, loved the omelette sand really enjoyed eating breakfast outside on a nice cool morning. Dinners here are also great, this is my new favorite play to get Vodka penne. The only downside to this place is the size of the bathroom, I’m a big fella and once I wedged myself in there I was pretty sure I wasn’t getting out.

Let me preface ths post by stating that I am a louder than average energetic Father of 3 sons(5, 3 and 2). I have enjoyed the Bistro as one of town’s few breakfast options for our early schedule. We are typically one of the first customers on Sunday at 7:45am/8am. The people are usually very nice, professional and the food is good. This used to be one of our favorite weekend rituals. This morning we(me and my 3 young sons) sat at a table and everything seemed normal until the end of the meal. 2 things happened. #1 — I ordered yogurt and it was a more traditional Greek yogurt than supermarket Greek yogurt(apparently). And the granola had a strange spiced/herbal taste to it. When I complained, the manager Nick made it a point to have an open debate and aggressively tell me how I did not know Greek yogurt and that I was wrong for not liking it. And #2 –Minutes later a table next to us(older couple) shouted as we were leaving«thank God. You and your kids are so annoying» To which I responded«have a great morning» and left a little embarrassed and a little annoyed. Baffled as Haddonfield folks are typically very friendly and understanding of kids/volume. I state this because I decided to call the manager back after an hour upset that he felt the need to tell me off and lecture me about yogurt. This is where things go south. He barrages me with derogatory remarks about me and my family and how he cannot stand us. He goes on to tell me that all the customers always complain(I haven’t ever experienced this before and we have been there about 30 times). He goes for the jugular by stating that we have no common sense on how to behave in public(as if we are animals). At this point I am flabbergasted and tell him that he could have simply pulled me aside if he felt me and my family ended to quiet down. And that this is the first time anyone has lectured me from a restaurant that I loved. His response«there’s af first time for everything and don’t come back ever.» Done. And I will make sure all my neighbors and social media outlets are fair warned. Completely unacceptable to thrash a customer and his kids. A simple warning if the noise was too much would have been nice but the rest of his anger filled insults are not acceptable regardless of how miserable a morning he was having. He felt a need to hit personally. Sorry the lack of common sense is on the manager.

A friend and I started out the morning swinging by here for a bite. I needed a place I could bring my pup, and this was a great location. Right downtown, plenty of seating outside and the weather was just perfect. Granted we took some time picking out what would help soak up the alcohol still in us, but I think the server forgot about us in the corner for a little bit. I tried closing the menus, putting them on the edge of the table move to show Hey, hi, ready! I went all out and got the Bistro Madame. Awesome sando. Loved the Prosciutto on it and the marble rye bread. Fried egg on top with just the right amount of runniness. Home fries were less than desirable; the dog liked them though. Wobbly table paired with plates that kept sliding around, I could have done without that.
