Mane Stop Salon & Day Spa

Today I am sporting another wonderful haircut from Krista at Mane Stop! Krista has cut my hair for years now and always makes me feel beautiful. I even take her suggestions on new hair cuts and am never disappointed. There are many things you cannot control in life but having a wonderful stylist & salon to make you feel beautiful & confident is important in my opinion. I have also used Mane Stop’s Spa for delightful massages (Mary Francis), bikini waxes (Tracy-​who will keep you laughing!) and pedicures/​manicures (Sharon.) As soon as you walk in the door, you will feel welcomed by reception and also important – You will never be kept waiting! I highly recommend all services offered at Mane Stop. Years ago, I found Mane Stop thru a friend referral and will never ever let anyone else touch my locks! It’s amazing the great services they provide at very reasonable prices. Just because they are in Haddonfield doesn’t mean you have to pay higher prices. Plus once you do enjoy services at Mane Stop in the center of town… you can enjoy great shopping & eateries to celebrate your beauty~! Plus parking a breeze, lot located behind the Mall & free parking evenings & weekends. So what are you waiting for??? Call them!

Tracy hands down gave me the best wax I have ever had. She’s amazing, quick and gets every hair. I’ve already told many friends and Coworkers about Mane Stop and how they must to go to Tracy for the best wax. I will keep coming back because of her

I was was surprised by how affordable this place was, and how great my hair turned out. I had never been here before, but I had a spafinder gift card and there are few places in the area that take it. I made an appointment about a day or two ahead of time without any trouble. As soon as I arrived, I was seen. The staff were all very nice, and did their jobs well. I was in and out in no time and my hair came out just as I wanted it to. The facilities were nice. One thing is that my iPhone had a bit of trouble finding the place, but I just called and asked where they were located. I will definitely be back again when I’m in the area. I think with tip I spent about $ 56 dollars, which is what you’ll spend any where.

I first started going here about a year ago. I was originally skeptical to try a place in Haddonfield because I thought they were going to be outrageously priced! I was wrong, they are actually very reasonably priced. I love Kim! She always does a fantastic job on my hair and listens to exactly what I am saying and provides her feedback. I really appreciate that. I don’t want someone to just do everything I say if they think it’s going to look bad. I get a full highlight and cut when I go so I spend some serious time there and I always look forward to going to see Kim. It’s always a fun pleasant experience to chat with her! I ended up having her do my hair for my wedding and it turned out lovely! I saw someone else for my makeup and that too turned out lovely! The girls in my party also had their hair and makeup done and everyone looked fantastic! The wedding packages are a great price and take all the guess work out of tips for everyone. I would highly recommend whether for routine maintenance or for your special day!

I’ve been going to the Mane Stop since I was in grade school (we won’t get into how long ago that was!). Even after moving out of the Haddonfield area, I still schedule my salon needs around trips home to visit my parents just to go back to the Mane Stop.
I’ll start with Traci — she handles waxing and facials — and she’s awesome. I’ve been going to Traci for seven years. She’s very thorough and has what I like to call «the no hair left behind» policy. If the wax missed it, she’s checking with a magnifying glass to make sure she can tweeze it out. She’s careful to check the condition of my skin every time to make sure she doesn’t use a wax or treatment that will irritate me. One day I had some redness in my skin and she suggested skipping the wax and instead tweezed my brows, which still looked just as perfect as if she’d waxed. She’s also very bubbly and talkative and cracks me up. She also takes the time to get to know you and always asks how I’m doing each time I come in. She remembers our conversations.
Traci also handles my facials — and she knows that a facial is about relaxation and getting de-​stressed. In contrast to the bubbly waxing appointments, she’s soothing and quiet while doing facials. Once again, she makes sure to ask how my skin is feeling and if I have any specific needs before she uses any product on me. Several times she’s thanked me for giving her an update so she didn’t use certain products. She also gives great massages to your shoulders during the facial. And of course, while extraction is never a pleasant experience — I think she goes above and beyond to be as gentle as possible. Finally, what I love about any facial at the Mane Stop (I received them from others before Traci) is that they don’t try to sell you anything. I’ve had facials elsewhere where they are trying to push products on you instead of letting you focus on relaxing. The Mane Stop doesn’t do this.
Darice handles my haircuts and styling. I keep my hair appointments pretty basic, but Darice always does a great job cutting my hair. She also helps me find treatments that work when my hair is feeling a little «thirsty.» I always walk out with a great cut.
Finally, I recently had a pedicure with Mary Francis and she did a great job. She helped me pick out the color and let me test it with the offer to clean it off and try a different one if needed. Weeks later, the pedicure still looks great.
A couple quick tips: They don’t take American Express, so make sure you have another form of payment. Also, for the parking lot (and meters in Haddonfield in general), you only need to pay up to 6PM on weekdays. After 6PM and the weekends are free parking (at least as of the time of this review).
Overall — this salon has served me well over the years, and no matter how far I go away — I always find time to go back.

I was a little unsure about going to a place in Haddonfield, as I expected it to be outrageously pricey. However the place I had been going to in Collingswood kept raising the prices so I figured it couldn’t be any worse. I was pleasantly surprised! I got an appointment right away and on short notice, had the same person do both my cut and color (Krista was fabulous at both!!), and the bill was less than what I’d been paying. All in all, I got more for less… can’t beat that! Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and other customers. It was a great start to my holiday weekend. I will be returning

Even though I’ve already reviewed Mane Stop, and have already given it 5 stars, I want to reiterate my excellent review because of an exceptional, unexpected experience I had today. I went in for an eyebrow wax with Traci, and before we began, I mentioned a skin issue I had been having. Immediately she suggested AGAINST waxing, as she explained that she’d probably irritate my skin so much I’d be a bloody mess. Yeah, don’t want that. Instead she tweezed my brows, which really didn’t take any more time because she’s so good and fast. It was totally painless, and my eyebrows look just as good as when she waxes them. I feel like if I had gone anywhere else, the person would have just waxed me, no questions asked, and who knows what the outcome would have been. Traci recognized an issue, offered and alternative, and also offered me several pieces of advice to work on the dry skin issue I am having on my eyelids. THANK YOU, TRACI!

This place is actually affordable, considering it’s location. I had a massage that was great and I’m a regular for manicures — Mary Francis is amazing! She pays attention to details, which is very important with nails.

Just had an awesome pedicure here, the technician was very gentle and kind and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

I expected much more from a salon/​spa located in Haddonfield. I would look elsewhere.
Just to name a couple things… Massage therapist was decent but I could hear the people in the salon chatting away while I was getting my massage. I went there a second time because I had money left over from the full day package I got the first time and the nail technician filed too close to my nail bed that it hurt for a couple days. Ouch.

Great staff, Krista is the best at cutting hair! Only person I trust with the scissors…
