Best valentines date ever made great by excellent service. The waiter continued to go above and beyond over and over for us the entire meal. He also made an excellent entertainment recommendation. This was truly 10 star service. Nicest all you can eat buffet I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at. Hector took great care of us ill be back again.

It’s a typical buffet. It’s amazing when you go for the first time because you are too busy trying little bit of everything. But it gets boring after then. There is a variety to choose from and sushi section is the best part of all. Think of it as «all you can eat sushi» Overall, a good place to go when you have no idea what to eat and extremely hungry :)

We went there for brunch buffet, lots of selections in many different cuisines. However, the sushi was a little cold for my taste and did not feel as fresh. Only after eating a whole plate full, the server told me that they can make it fresh for you as a made-to-order! So make use off that privilege. The servers are, in general, very nice. The plates are cleared very quickly. It could be a little pricey if you eat there very often, however a nice place for date night or brunch hang out. P. S. Their lunch buffet is only $ 14 so take advantage of that since there is no cooking time involved, it is usually pretty quick.

I’ve been to this buffet twice so far, and it is definitely one of the better buffets I’ve been to. Still, there is plenty of room to improve. The selection here is pretty huge, so I’ll just cover the stuff that’s important to me when it comes to buffets. Oysters — The oysters are very fresh, and they basically continuously put out more and more as they get taken. It’s nice that you can actually feel confident that none of the oysters have been sitting out for a while unlike a lot of other buffets. They had lemons, limes, cocktail sauce, and tabasco sauce available too. Unfortunately, the muscle connecting the oyster meat to the shell was not severed by the shucker either visit. This is more of a convenience issue, as it becomes very difficult to get the oyster meat out of the shell without using a fork. Also, the second time I was here, the shucker was washing out the opened oysters with water. This removes nearly all of the oyster liquor from the shell which contains the majority of that delicious, briny, oyster flavor. I would’ve really preferred it if they didn’t do this. Crab Legs — The quantity of crab legs they put out is absolutely absurd for a buffet. I’m used to buffets where the crab legs get wiped out shortly after they are put out, so this was a really pleasant surprise for me. The crab legs are served chilled here, but you can ask a waiter or waitress to steam them for no additional charge. The quality of the crab legs seems inconsistent though. The first time I was here, I felt like they weren’t that fresh. The crab meat kept ripping in half, and it tasted a little watery. On the other hand, the crab meat was near perfection on my second visit. I was honestly surprised and impressed that buffet crab legs could’ve been that good. Meat Carving Station — I highly recommend going to this buffet on days they have lambchops available(weekends only I think?). You are only allowed to get two pieces per trip, but the meat is well seasoned, tender, and cooked pretty nicely. I was also a big fan of the kielbasa – really juicy and flavorful. The skirt steak and filet could’ve been a lot better though – way too tough, overcooked, and bland for me. Sushi/Sashimi — Overall, one of the better sushi/sashimi sections in any buffet I’ve been to. The fish was fresh, and there was a pretty impressive variety of options available. Not much to complain about really. Desserts — Nice selection. Lots of unusual items for a buffet like a chocolate fountain and crem brulee(though it did taste like it was torched a bit too much). The tres leches was the best dessert that I was able to try, and my girlfriend is adamant about it being the best thing in the whole buffet. The service was excellent both times. The prices are on the high end, but I feel that it is very worth it. You can save money by purchasing gift cards at least a few days in advance online(they only take paypal, but you can save up to 18% right away if the purchase is large enough). You can get 5% off the entire bill by checking in on Unilocal too. This buffet has a lot of great things going for it, and I get the impression that they aren’t willing to take shortcuts to cut down on cost like a lot of other AYCE restaurants. The management staff and owner also seem to really care about customer feedback, so I think this buffet will only get better and better over time. I’ll definitely be back in the future.

Where do i begin? It was my second time here and I was given the same five star experience as the last time. The food is great — good sushi bar, excellent meat cut selection, seafood, desserts. And our waitress Sandy was FANTASTIC — thanks Sandy! Look out for the waitress with the awesome face art. She was really kind and accomodating. 10⁄10 would have my bachelor party here

This is the best buffet in the area; they have a huge sushi section, chinese food, a carving station(roast beef, pork tenderloin, flank steak, etc), an omelette and crêpe station, salads and soup, fresh seafood(shrimp and crabs), desserts(cakes, crème brûlée, chocolate fountain, ice cream, fruits etc). It is much cheaper and much closer to us than Minado in Little Ferry. It is a more expensive but has better food than International Buffet in Bergenfield. We paid $ 25/person for lunch on a Sunday and it was worth it. They share a parking lot with the whole strip that has a Home Depot, Five Guys, Sally’s Beauty, etc, so the lot can be full on weekdays and Saturdays but you’ll have no competition on Sundays when everything else is closed in Bergen County. Oh yeah, we got 5% off for checking in on Unilocal

Came here last night with 8 coworkers. POC has a large selection of food, similar to other buffets. The biggest difference is that they have a large variety of sushi; they also have crab legs and oysters. I think it was $ 29 a person(not including tip), and my coworker said it’s about $ 20 for lunch. I definitely ate a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. However, I don’t see myself eating here frequently(mainly because of the price).

I don’t get to buffets much outside of the obligatory trips in Vegas, but this one is in Hackensack, NJ behind the Riverside Mall from Route 4. The dining room is large and open with a few smaller rooms toward the sides. The buffet has a lot of different choices: sushi, nigiri, sashimi, a carving station, various other seafood and meat dishes. Dessert is available as well. There are kid friendly items too. I have been here twice both times with large groups. It seems like a good bargain and my only wish is that there was a bar or that a wine shop was right near by. Most likely I will be back.

The food is delicious and the service was very good. The food also looked fresh and set out very nicely and inviting. I hope to go there again soon. Especially since I live so close by.

Yup, all the reviews are correct… it is a better version of minado or ichi umi. AYCE sushi and steak? Eating like a king. They have sushi and sashimi, shrimp, crab legs, oysters. probably some more, i can’t remember, i was too busy drooling. Then, the generic chinese food, fried food, comfort food. But then… you need to save room for steak. Actual, cooked slab of beef. Granted it’s not the best and over-seasoned with salt, but still actually pretty good for what it is. Don’t come here expecting the best quality food but for the price and AYCE and BYOB option, you cant go wrong. Dinner runs a little more than 30 dollars, with tax and tip, comes out to be about ~35−40 dollars. I’ve spent that much on a good sushi place alone and still left hungry. Same price for sushi and steak? No brainer. The dessert section is huge, but only good things are ice cream and brownies IMO. Service was meh considering we only needed water from them. Still took awhile considering how salty the steaks were. Great place to check out if you’re hungry af.

As far as buffets go, this one is very good. Could improve a few items, but all in all they have a good array of options. On weekend evenings they usually have rack of lamb, which are worth price of admission alone. I like their sushi because they use a thin layer of rice. Great idea for a buffet because most places just want you to fill up on it. Lobster bisque is awesome.

Generally not a huge fan of buffets but this one really impressed me. Amazing selection for lunch and staff were always restocking items and we could see them making the sushi. Plus there is a Unilocal deal for 5% off when you check in! Some of my favorites are the sushi, short ribs, surprisingly the French fries, HK Calamari, tempura crab with the shell and the seaweed salad. Delicious and a great price, especially for lunch!

My boyfriend and I came in for dinner around 5:30 today(Monday). Sergio was our server. He was very friendly and very attentive! He is why I bumped my rating from 3 to 4 stars. The food is good. Typical buffet fare. I got a plate of cold food, but they were quick to remedy the problem. Sushi tastes pretty fresh, with many sauce options. For the price, you can’t beat this place for a tasty dinner!

Huge buffet ! Ambiance is quite neat and clean. Lot of different counters — Sushi counters, breakfast counter, pasta counter, desert counter, crêpe counter, Asian and American counter. The food is quite good. The things I liked were — Fried crab, two varieties of shrimp, crepes. The desert counter is OK. They have lot of option but quality is just OK. Good food for the price(around $ 19).

I initially visited this buffet while searching for a party venue for my daughter’s first birthday and inquired the management about the space and date availability. The staff I have to say were very friendly and if it was for the service alone I’d give them 4 stars but unfortunately I can’t say the same for their food. The sushi rolls were way too greasy, and I didnt know it was even possible, but almost all their sushi rolls have way too much rice and way too much mayo mixed into their sauces of any kind. The fried selection? Having it greasy is a given at any place, but the oil used for their dumplings seems a little too used as in the the eggs rolls and dumplings were nearly dark brown from the old oil, and then having it in the warmer for however long periods didnt make it any better. The rest of the food I dont even remember enough to make any comment but I’d save the money and just order take out chinese and sushi.

The Story: Purchased the Groupon on this place after people comparing this place to Minado’s in Little Ferry, NJ. I figure I’ll give it a shot(how bad can it be right?). Food: Their specialty is «American Fushion & Sushi» — Their sushi isn’t bad but I feel like their rolls had a lot of rice in it. They also had raw oysters, clam, crab legs, shrimp cocktail for their seafood selection. All of them were also average for buffets. The other stations did not stand out much to me. This place is BYOB and they did not charge a corking fee. Price: Without the groupon on a weekend it’ll be about $ 30.00 a person. I don’t think its worth it when I feel Minado’s selection is overall better. Décor: Modern. Their dining room is huge but I also feel like they try to squeeze in as many tables as they can. During peak hours — it’s rather packed. Service: Our waiter was attentive in the beginning but as more people come in it took me about 10 minutes to flag him down for the check. Parking & Finding the Place: There is plenty of parking since it’s in a shopping center. Located by Route 4 in Hackensack and next to the Riverside Square Mall. Additional Thoughts: Would not pay their full price. Rather spend the extra $ for Minados.

I have to say that I was surprised by how good this buffet was. Seating: plenty of tables and booths & very spacious Food: Sashimi: cut small but thick & pretty fresh Sushi: they have rolls with black rice, which were pretty unique and tasty. All the other rolls looked pretty good as well Raw oysters: so big and fresh & yummy! There were also shrimp cocktail, raw clams, cooked king crab legs, and cold crab. Prime rib, filet mignon, & rack of lamb: yummmm! perfectly cooked and seasoned! I wish they were served hot though. Panini Station Popcorn & cheese puffs! Plenty of desserts(e.g., crème brûlée, tiramisu, chocolate mousse, fresh fruit, etc) The downside was the lack of hot foods available and lack of vegetables. I wish they had more variety on those parts. Also, I think hibachi would be a better option than the pasta. Service: excellent! Our plates were taken away often, and our waitress was nice Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, and the food was very good! Dinner weekend buffet currently priced at $ 28.99 per person. Not bad! I forgot to add. .check in on Unilocal for 5% off total! They also advertise this at the buffet and checking in on other apps also works!

A big pro of this place is the space, $ 29 all you can eat sushi, warm good, salads and dessert. We came in here on a Saturday at 9:30pm, very close to the time they close but had plenty of time to get the food that we wanted. The food was fresh and new items were still coming. We still had some extra time to get the food choices that we liked. It was refreshing because it was late, we were hungry and were happy to not have to wait for ordered food to come(or cook). Selections included a sushi section, raw fish, salads, soup, warm fish and meat, desserts(several types and cakes and ice cream). From the dessert table I liked the flan most and my fiancé had his share of crab meat and sashimi. The quality and taste of the food is fairly average. It is defiantly not the best sushi I ever had. It is quick and reasonably priced so it hit the spot. Note: The place used to be a full BYOB. They recently made a deal with a local winery and started selling wine. They have implemented a $ 8 corking fee on outside alcohol since.
