Love dr McCarthy! His office staff could use some sensitivity training but he is AWESOME!
Wow 2nd visit and his office person is still a horrible example of customer service. If the doctor wasn’t awesome I wouldn’t bother but he’s really good it’s just that I wish I could have both great and happy staff to match the outstanding Doctor they work for. Sad for Dr. McCarthy, he deserves so much better and that’s a fact!

Dr. McCarthy (Infectious Diseases) saved my life! He’s the most thorough doctor I’ve ever been to. Each time I’ve been there, he spent at least half-​an-​hour with me, and it was more like an hour the first time.

Wish i could give zero. I was referred here from the medical clinic at PIH. When i made the appointment, the rude office staff woman made it painfully clear that ONLY CASH would be accepted for copay. Fine. I arrived on time and one hour later im stiil in waiting room. I did discover that the office has not retrieved any if my labs or records in preparation for this visit. First impression. …mediocre bordering on malpractice. Haven’t seen the MD yet but his office staff and business practices are dreadful. Stay away!!!
