Our child also attended this camp during summer of 2011. The experience was a huge disappointment. I agree with the review here that points out the camp knows what to say to get you interested; they did not, however, deliver on their commitments in our opinion. The camp has a staff member they call«Doctor». This staff member was not a doctor, nor was he a trained nurse. Our child got sick during camp, no one helped him. This same staff member is responsible for administering medicine. If I’d known what I know about this camp now, I never would have sent my child. They did not provide a beneficial experience. In fact, this camp was a detriment to our child. We found the camp facilities to be inferior, if not hazardous. To the best of my knowledge, this was not an accredited summer camp when our child attended. Until our kids attended a superior summer camp, we didn’t even know to check for this.

One star for the idea of such a camp… But the implantation of the idea just doesn’t seem to work out. So much $ for what exactly? This is just almost a regular camp with actually less(of course I mean caring) discipline(if you get up early in the morning you can put up a movie!) no real food awareness as promised(there is after all a Costco down the road!) no real framing(the worst for ADHD kids) looseness, fake caring(no real report on how your kid is doing at his ‘learning’ place –after all it pretentiously calls itself the learning camp) owner seems to have ADHD herself not taken care of… Only one day of horse riding! not even one climbing structure around or a swing… sure a pond and archery, but those are group activities, bathroom and restrooms very limited for such a group of children… My child came home completely regressed(only mild ADHD!) after a hard year of family work to help him out, the huge progresses he had done over the past year with careful planning, regular schedule etc. seems out the window now. He has to be completely redirected again, helped out with organization skills and focus(lost what he had gained over the past 2 years about how to follow through, think before acting etc.) and lost a HUGE part of his reading and writing skills(I doubt he got any personal attention on that end!!! and we never got to meet that special need educator!!! only young counselors!!!) Most of the children seemed to be under meds too… Few zombies, very sad sight. Maybe slightly better for teens?.. I so much wish it would have been a good camp! SO much money for us. Our family vacation had to be cancelled for that, so sad for all of us, such a disappointment. For sure the website sells the product well!!! and tons of smiling pictures… GRRRR
