Our family recently endured the loss of our father and we decided to use Barquin Funeral Home for the funeral services.
The funeral director, Mario Barquin, was exemplary. I have never gone through something like this before and I was hoping I would have the aid and guidance of a director that could help me navigate all of the details and minutia that have to be taken care of. Mario did all of that, and more.
He picked up the phone every time I called. He answered every question I had thoroughly. At one point, a video that we had prepared had some audio trouble and Mario worked on it on his own and got it working for us, making my me and mom truly happy.
As for the facility, it is state of the art! The décor is modern and refined… not what you expect in your typical funeral home, which tend to be dark, depressing, and often accompanied by a foul smell. Barquin Funeral Home is the exact opposite of that. There is even a small children’s room with a TV and miniature furniture. All of our guests and attendees said they had never been in such a beautiful home.
On the day of the burial, Mario and his crew worked traffic at major intersections and had all of the flowers ready for us to go by the time we got to the cemetery.
Mario is a true gentlemen and a professional. Besides his attention to detail, he’s just a very personable guy that I’m sure you will be happy with.
