I had lunch here on 2÷8÷16 Dayna was my server. Excellent service timely, friendly, attentive. I ordered the chicken Brussel sprout sandwich, the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever tasted. I will definitely make a return trip and will ask for Dayna she rocks.

Grease is the word-good oysters. I’m still wring the great from my pores from the fish and chips.

First off, outside décor, atmosphere, and view is beautiful! They also had live music. We ordered tempura asparagus to start and it was very good … Especially paired with the red yum sauce(you’ll need more if you love sauce as much as I do). My husband got a burger and I got the tropical tacos… Both which were very good and messy lol. Tropical tacos are very fresh and light and sweet. The service was also good. Fast and to the point just like we liked it. Only regret is I wish I would have taken a picture of our show to show you!

Red Fish Blue Fish only does a few things, but they do those few things so well. Instead of having a bloated menu grasping at pleasing everyone, they have limited the choices; this works to their advantage. The food is simple, fresh and full of flavor. They also have a creative drink menu that explores all the classics in a refreshing way. The food and drink are actually the supporting cast in the story that makes RFBF a success. The view always steals the show. With a clear and simple yard overlooking the sound, be prepared for one of the best dining experiences on the Gulf Coast.

Best views! Great salads and tacos. We love going to RFBF and watching sunsets while enjoying yummy seafood and watching the kids play the lawn games!

War sehr gut der Hauptgang, die Calamaris waren etwas(Vorspeise) zu lange in der Friteuse. Faire Preise!

Maybe I missed the memo but straight to the point. The view was gorgeous, food was mediocre but the service was horrible. Of course its always refreshing visiting an out of town restaurant and trying new things that the locals also enjoy. I ordered the sausage and shrimp creole. It was a tomato based sauce with about 2 miniature shrimp. It was served with rice and 2 pieces of French bread. I didn’t enjoy the meal very much. The other 6 ladies didn’t enjoy their meal either. One of the ladies was served dry fish which was supposed to come with sauce. After notifying the waitress SEVERAL times, she was brought cold sauce twice and eventually ended up eating the fish dry. It was horrible. The other lady was told by our waitress that the food is fried in shrimp oil — never heard of such. It was a huge concern because of her allergies. The waitress left to go ask the chef and came back stating everything was fine but again, we’d never heard of food being fried shrimp oil. Weird. Overall, it just wasn’t a good experience and I will probably not return.

Great food and great staff! I had a dozen oysters on the half shell that were amazing! I also had the half-and-half basket of oysters and shrimp. The shrimp were amazing, juicy and deep-fried, oysters also very large and juicy. The fries were very very good. The fact that they did not have a good IPA on tap was a short coming. However, Sierra Nevada torpedo extra IPA in a can is a good choice. The thing that saved them was that they usually have a local IPA on tap. It was just sold out. Great place for dinner with a beach atmosphere. Can’t wait to get back down here!

Pros –The view is gorgeous –The service is super friendly and nice, and competent on the whole –The whole Dr. Suess theme is entirely adorable –There are great games outside, like tether ball and giant jenga –Very reasonably priced with huge portions. The calamari is especially great –They now have at least 3 TVs for sporting events –The bushwhackers have a shot of 151 My only significant contention is the food was on the bland side. The NOLA fries were slightly bland and not very flavorful, and the only dipping sauces to come with the calamari were mayo-based and slightly bland also.

It was an okay place to go but doesn’t have much of a variety for being right off the ocean a lot of fried food. Fish was really fishy and the fries are equivalent to McDonald’s fries. It is more of a place to eat and drink with friends.

I went here for lunch my last time in Pensacola, and I ended up coming back the next day for dinner. It is a nice addition to the beach restaurant scene. Both times we were immediately seated, and the staff is very friendly and personable. We definitely had excellent service on both occasions. The highlight of my lunch was the smoked mullet dip. I always enjoy smoked tuna dip and I was not sure how I would like smoked mullet. It was very tasty. The shrimp poboy was really big and easily could be split between two people. The highlights of my dinner were the raw oysters. They were really big gulf oysters that tasted super fresh. They were the best oysters I have had in a long time. This is a good place for dinner, and an even better place for lunch. They have plenty of indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. The next time I am in Pensacola I know I will be back.

Stopped by for lunch during a work visit to the area. Great restraint atmosphere with quaint seating and a great view. Tried the ½ dozen baked oyster trio and it was delicious. I wasn’t super hungry so this was y lunch but I would definitely come back. Two of the three are spicy so be mindful!

We love this place! The food is fresh and delicious, especially the tropical fish tacos and the grouper blt with advocado. Drinks are refreshing and the outdoor ambiance on the bay makes for a relaxing, beachy dinner spot. Not touristy, just fun.

The good: Food tasted good. Servers(Brian and Sarah) were great. Atmosphere/view were cool. The bad: Our seats were soaking wet(not a huge deal for us but we definitely had some soggy behinds afterwards. The dessert(key lime pie) was WAYWAYWAYWAYWAY too expensive. We were charged $ 9.00 for a piece — if you could even call it that — of un-impressive pie. It tasted like something out of Publix and was extremely tiny, especially compared to the other restaurants in the area. We weren’t even notified of the price or offered a menu to look :(just assumed it would be of comparison to the surrounding restaurants. Shame on us, I guess.

Are you kidding me? I finally found a place for the entire family… my youngest likes burgers and my oldest likes shrimp and my wife likes fish sandwiches and i eat everything! Well when you add delicious food and RFBF waterfront ambiance you get a happy customer. We enjoyed the outdoor games while waiting for our food… the sunset over pensacola beach was breathtaking and the dirty martinis were great. Finally, although the choc cake and cheesecake were terrific be sure to ask the price so you wont be shocked when you get the check. Again very tasty but rather steep. The live music enhanced the atmosphere and my kids pointed out the volleyball court for next time. Definitely a place we will return to.

If every other place on Pensacola Beach is too crowded and you can get in here quickly, it may be worth it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this place. The location is really good, and that’s about it. Food is average at best, and service is on the slow side. I had the calamari appetizer, and I am sad to say that it’s by far the worst calamari I’ve ever had. The bayou po boy was overpowered by the sauce, and the fish tacos were nothing special. I’m giving Red Fish Blue Fish 2 stars because it’s a beautiful location, and that’s about all they have going for them.

The food was 3 stars, locations and concept 5. So, let’s call it a 4 and move along. A one-of-a-kind restaurant concept with a killer view. Plenty of unique games — for adults and kids alike — are all around the facility. Bright colors reminiscent of, you guessed it, Dr. Seuss, abound — buts it’s not over the top. For starters we went with the tuna dip. This was AMAZING! It came with delicious pita/nacho chips and cilantro and cucumber slices. I really enjoyed this dip. I ordered the mahi BLAT(bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) sandwich and my friend got the mango salsa mahi tacos. Her tacos were more flavorful than my bland sandwich. I’m not sure what it was, but the sandwich itself was incredibly unsatisfying. It was so giant I could barely even consume it. The fries were, however, tasty. There are so many places on Pensacola Beach that I would rather eat, but I’d say give this place a shot — you just might like it.

Fun place with a fantastic view. You can’t beat patio dining with a view of the water. They had live entertainment when we visited. They set a cannon off as the sun sets, so be prepared for a loud boom if you’re lucky enough to be there for it. I ordered a grilled chicken platter with cream sauce, red peppers, asparagus, rice and spinach. It was delicious. My daughter had the carne asada tacos which were really just shredded beef tacos and not very good ones at that. Maybe being from the west coast we’re a little spoiled when it comes to our Mexican food.

Great location for an ok dinner near the beach. I think that this place lacked in so many areas, but did well in atmosphere! Let’s begin with the atmosphere: It’s your typical beach bum spot. On the beach with indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor there were fire pits and beach chairs to enjoy the ocean as you eat your food. The tables were made sorta like picnic tables which was quite awesome. It gave you a good beach feeling for sure. The food: It was really just ok, not bad not great but just ok. I had the fish tacos. If you go that route get the spicy because they are so much better than the ones with mango salsa. The portions were huge, enough to share for sure. It comes with chips and dip which were actually disappointing, no salt or flavors. The drinks: Don’t do it — order something straight up and you’ll be just fine. I ordered the southern comfort mixed drink. It tasted like no alcohol was in it at all. My friends ordered wine that tasted like it was out of a box. My one very smart friend ordered a beer, that’s the way to secure your drink! Lastly, they offered a Unilocal check in special for a free fortune fish that they didn’t even offer anymore… Remove the check in from Unilocal the. Overall an ok experience.

Mid-afternoon lunch on a cool, sunny, late November day. –Flash-fried, undeniably tender Camamari with two dipping sauces. –Three tasty tacos made with just-caught, local Mahi-Mahi, accompanied by pastry-crisp flour tortilla chips and a fruit-kissed cabbage slaw. –All washed down with a Pensacola Bay Brewery«Riptide Amber». –Attentive, polite, efficient, non-intrusive wait staff. –Perfection … and a bargain to boot!
