Great local pub. Stopped by here while visiting my son stationed in Pensacola. Lots of locals. However they are very friendly. Our bartender, Christy, poured a perfect Black and Tan. Nice selection of Irish whiskeys too.

Hell yeah, I love Irish pubs and thus I loved me some Paddy’s. We went two times during our 4 night trip so obviously it was our jam. The first night we went was a Friday night and it was packed out but we still managed to grab a seat at the bar. There was a live band playing festive music, everyone seemed drunk and festive, and we enjoyed the hell out of it. We got some pizza and they wrapped it up for us in paper plates and aluminum foil to go since we were staying just almost next door. The pizza was pretty good too! So we came back on Sunday night since I saw that they had karaōke! Yay, I love karaōke! On this night it was pretty dead in there so we got a seat at the bar with no problem. We ran into our favorite bartender from Paradise Bar and Grill so we bought some shots for her and her friends. Irish car bombs. This is the way perfectly reasonable nights go off rails. Then I start signing up for karaōke because that’s what I do. With so few people there I got to sing a few songs before we left. I’d say The Stroke went over decently, Uptown Funk had a few people dancing, and Humpty Dance made everyone just stare at me like WTF? Not my usual karaōke reaction but WHATEVER I totally rocked it! And then we got pizza to go again and walked back to the hotel. This is a fun place and you definitely should go if you like a festive, raucous Irish pub!

You had me at «Irish Pub»! We stopped in for a drink on our last trip to Pensacola Beach and were very happy to find out that it was Happy Hour! YAY! The only thing better than day drinking is Happy Hour to assist in the goal. It was a little dank and dark and kinda smoky, but the bartender was SUPER nice and even assisted us in finding a great place to eat dinner. We are planning another trip to the beach soon and we will be back to Paddy’s too!

decent beer selection. Maybe 10 beers on draft? Small and smokey is the reason for only 2 stars… and one of the bartenders was smoking behind the bar while. the staff seemed nice. definitely a hole in the wall… would pick another place on pb before returning. Try mixing the blue moon and strongbow… one of my favorite drinks.

It’s been almost a year and a half since I wrote that first review, and Paddy’s is still my most favorite place on the beach. Seriously, it’s like home. Seamas, one of the owners, is there most weekend nights and will make you feel like you make the place rock. The bartenders(Debbie and Mary at night, Laura and Becky during the day) make you feel right at home. Out of all of the places on Pcola Beach, this bar is THE place where you will meet friendly people that will strike up a conversation and not be sphincters. From my vast experience, I can tell you this honestly… neither the Sandshaker(which I love) or the Paradise(which I also love) has as friendly clientele as Paddy’s. If you can loiter here for more than 30 minutes and not have somebody at least attempt to strike up a conversation, you either look like the Unabomber or smell like eight day-old roadkill. And there is other food available other than pizza(best on the beach!) and boiled peanuts… pickled eggs. Holy shit. I tried to eat one of these one night after 17 Irish car bombs and couldn’t choke down the first bite. If you can eat one of these, I’d like to shake your hand… after you wash it after handling one of those nasty fowl ova. *gag* Great bands, friendly folks, and now smoke-free after…8 pm, I think. There’s Texas Hold’em poker, but I can’t remember when, so if you like that, call and ask.

Fun bar! Super freindly staff, lots of beer and cider an tap, and they serve car bombs by the bucket(they have a frequent drinker punch card!). Live mucsic was fun and a very casual, hang out and drink kind of attitude. It can get pretty crowded and it’s a small sapce, so be preared. There is smoking in the bar and it does get heavy… you’ll smell like the bar when you leave! Still hard not to have a good time here.

You probably shouldn’t wear a tie to this place, but I did anyway. I still had a good time. My friend and I stayed right across the street from this place on our Pensacola Beach trip. We were here both nights and had a pretty good time. You go to this place to drink beer, listen to live music and play darts. They did have karaōke one night and the participants were actually quite good. The bartender, who was very nice, offered us some free chicken dumplings on Monday night. They had lots of sage and garlic and were very, very good. I don’t get down here much but this place was fun and approachable. I’ll definitely recommend it. Oh, they can smoke here, that’s a big minus for me but I’m sure other people would like it.

My kinda place! Friendly staff and patrons, great whiskey and beer selection. Best place I have found on the beach! not too stuff, and a good mix of locals and tourists.
