First of all the people at Jimbo’s are very, very nice and the facility is clean and pleasant. Six of us had lunch there and 4 were disappointed. The ribs weren’t ready so no one but me ordered barbeque. It was dry, almost cold and had little if no taste, quite frankly I thought it was left over from the day before. One ordered a vegetable plate, but all the items appeared to be from a can and just warmed up. One had chicken fingers but she described them as just«chicken fingers» the same you can get anywhere. The others had hamburgers that were only average. We probably won’t go back unless we hear that it has improved.

One of the best barbeque restaurants anywhere around. Not only barbeque but the chicken fingers are great as well. I have never had a bad experience. I like the bbq sauce. You have to wait a short time for your food but it’s worth the wait as they cook it fresh when ordered. The environment is nice as well and the restaurant is clean. If you haven’t eat here you are definitely missing out. Update: 10÷3÷2015 Since my original review I have reduced my rating by 1 star, probably should be 2 stars due to the fact that the last 3 or so times I have eaten here the quality of food seems to have dropped somewhat over a short period of time. The barbecue is definitely not what it was in the past and the chicken fingers have went down in quality. I don’t know if this is dew to changing suppliers or what but something has definitely changed here. The last time I had barbecue it was not cold but not far from it and not the quality they once had. I have not ate here near as much lately as a result. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt another time or two but if things don’t improve I probably won’t go back.

Down home tender smoked FULL spare rib ribs mildly spicy rub not to hot not to mild just the right amount of after zing. I like the sauce on the side think its homemade good baked beans and interesting green beans, they are good have a flavor I cant.‘t quite place, not your typical salt onion and bacon/pork, french cut and dare I say smokey? Great friendly people, very welcoming. a hidden gem if you don’t leave the beaten path 5am-2pm M-F and 11am-2pm Sunday(not sure Saturdays thought it was later like 5 –7) serving breakfast and real good BBQ!

OMG, if there was something even more basic and simple than Cracker Barrel, then this would be the place. I have gone here every time since I just love their fried okras and fried chicken. Plus, the dessert is pretty good with watermelon. I was glad there was a take-out box. But, it wasn’t closed well when I was in the rental car. So, there was some juice that spill on the seat. Oh well, it was delicious though. This time, I had the country fried steak with fried okras/collard greens/strawberry frosted cake. This place will never tire me since I love country cooking.

Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. Once a old grocery store these owners have transformed this into a unique restaurant with vintages signs and décor. Very friendly with lots of southern charm and hospitality. The food is homemade from their signature bar-b-q ribs, chicken fingers, smoked chicken(my favorite) with delicious white sauce. All the sauces are from scratch and yummy. Don’t forget the sides baked beans, potato salad and many more. They also serve a great breakfast Monday thru Friday with some truly southern«cat head» homemade biscuits with gravy or syrup and butter. This is a new must stop restaurant when visiting family and friends back home. A+
