Best Thai food around! Portions are very generous! Everyone who works there has a smile on their face they’re kind and treat everyone very nicely, they are quick as well. Ordering take out is easy and prices are the same as every other Thai place around however you get more food and a bigger menu to choose from! Love IThai!

One of the best meals I ever had of course I didn’t try everything on menu. The service and thai tea and roti was great also.

Love iThai! Does not look like much from the outside(it’s in a strip mall on the Boston Post Road) but the food is exceptional! I have only tried the noodle dishes but what I have had(Phad Thai w/chicken, Drunken Noodle, Phad See Eaw, and Phở Noodle Soup) were excellent. The crispy rolls and Ginger Chicken are also very good. I have not had anything from this restaurant that I did not like.

Another great meal at this little gem. The food and service are the best around. We are trying to enjoy everything on the menu at least once. Many we have tried a few times. We are never disappointed .Last night we started with the I signature app which has two of shunsais, chicken satay fresh rolls and blanket shrimp. For the entrée we enjoyed the I sea platter. This had king crab, scallops, shrimp, mussels pineapple cashews veggies with a sauce that was just right for this dish. The two of us shared the dishes and had no room for desert :-( Great job I-Thai!!! See you next week

Everything in this little gem of an eatery is a treat. From the sharp clean interior to the handful of booths to the amazingly genuine and friendly staff to the wonderful cooked to order food. I admit that as I have never been to Thailand I have no point of reference as to taste criteria. I am however an experienced cook and caterer(over 40 years) and I know fresh food and when it is prepared well. The kitchen is well organized and clean and the chef cooks with a grace and movement of someone who could do it with their eyes closed. Be sure to let them know how much spice you want in your food. A great way to try is lunch where you have an opportunity to sample spring rolls, dumplings and the usual offering of appetizers, along with several entrees and an additional serving of rice or drunken noodles or phad thai. I will warn you that the drunken noodles are addictive. I have to eat them now three times a week or I go into hissy fits. Even my husband who is a died in the wool meat and potatoes guy loves their food. They do a very large take out business so if your order isn’t out quickly, don’t think that they are not cooking back there in the kitchen. The food is usually out in less than 8 minutes so order a Thai Iced tea or a cup of chammomile and sit back and relax. Enjoy your meal and be thankful that you had time to visit these lovely people and their wonderful welcoming restaurant.

I’m a novice when it comes to Thai cuisine and iThai is a great place to explore more than pad Thai. I’ve discovered drunken noodles, ginger chicken and some wonderful curry puffs. The lunch combo allows you to pick an appetizer, protein and noodle dish at a very affordable price.

pretty good thai restaurant. service was a bit slow, frustrating when waitress stops to talk to one table for a very long time and you are waiting for food for even longer. food was good, reasonable amount of veg options. want to get back and give it another chance. when we were there they did a lot of take out business.

We ordered takeout and paid for it on their on-line ordering menu which was super easy. While all the food was tasty, the Yum Nuea was different than I have experienced before. Not sure that I will get that one again. The pad Thai and the green curry only had a minimal amount of chicken. The fresh spring rolls were mostly lettuce and few shrimp. The rolls came with a bean paste sauce and not the hyper sweet chili sauce that I’m used to. All the food was decent and fresh, the prices were reasonable too. So… A couple of days later I get a phone call, from someone at IThai, seems that my review was not good enough for them. I’m like, «well a three star review is right in the middle not good and not bad, right in the middle», silence on the other end. My grading criteria: Elegant restaurants with excellent menus, excellent wait staff, superior locations and the like deserve 4 – 5 star ratings. middle market takeout places in strip centers are deserving of 2 – 4 star ratings. Crappy food where you might get sick, 1 star ratings. Once in a while an establishment will transcend all basic criteria and score outside the range. Certainly the exception and not the rule. Crowd sourcing reviews is only as good as the information that goes into them. That’s why it’s important to look at the range that the establishment falls into and determine if any of the outlying scores are valid. In many cases they are not. Score inflation helps the restaurant but not the consumer, and these reviews are for the consumer, right?

I’ve eaten here 4 or 5 times now, alone or with a friend. Usually get Pad Thai or Drunken Noodles with tofu. Delicious meals. Friendly but not overly chatty staff. Clean. Close to home. Both eat in and take out have been tasty with good portions. Only one time felt a little shorted on the tofu with a take out order. Have been given complementary soup. Spring rolls were very fresh the one time I had them.

Don’t ever order near closing time of the restaurant. The dining experience was ruined. They could have told us they were closing soon and we would have definitely been understanding and returned some other day. Instead we received passive aggressive service, where our appetizers were delivered at the same time as entrees. We requested the entrees to be put aside, and were graciously offering we’d be okay eating our dinners off temp.cold. Turn off the lights on us at 9:15pm. I have had good meals here before but will not return based on the recent disrespect. They must have plenty of business hence the nonchalance on customer service.

Everyone at iThai is awesome. The food rules and takeout is always quick. They’ve never messed up an order and my stomach is happy after. I could(and have) eat here 4 days in a row. Definitely get the Thai Shumai and the killer Chicken Satay, both are a staple for me.

I go here for for take out but there are a number of booths available. The food is made from a semi open kitchen and is very clean. Food is fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly. Normal size portions and not greasy or over sauced. Great with accommodations. Highly recommended.

I come here for lunch on a weekly basis. Great reasonable healthy lunch and menu options. Menu is huge and they have bubble tea and mango sticky rice! Staff is very friendly and there never is much of a wait. I would recommend the lunch combos if you are starving as the portions are plentiful.

I ordered online and got an email confirmation that my credit card had been charged. I arrived at the restaurant and was told that my order never came through, and thus was not prepared. I then had to wait while the food was cooked. There were then 2 errors with the order(wrong meat, wrong kind of rice). Back-end server problems with your online ordering systems are not the customer’s problem. Please either fix the problems or stop taking online orders. That said, the food was amazing. Absolutely delicious!

GREAT place! Pleasantly surprised to have stumbled upon this tiny, yet contemporary, art deco spot. A+ for everything below. Took off a star for service. When you ask for soy sauce, they assume you mean LITERALLY4 drops. It was awkward. How many times does a girl have to beg for soy sauce during lunch? Fresh Roll: Soft rice paper wrapped with fresh vegetables served with house sauce topped with ground peanut. Chicken Satay: Served with Thai traditional peanut sauce and cucumber sauce. Thai Shumai: Stuffed shrimp, chicken, shitake mushroom, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts. Crab Rangoon: Homemade wonton filled with crabmeat, cream cheese, celery and carrot. Pineapple Fried Rice: Southern Thai style fried rice with curry sauce, pineapple, raisins, egg and cashew nut.

Prior to this restaurant’s opening my boyfriend had mentioned that we’d be getting another Thai restaurant in Guilford. My reaction? Not a single burger place in Guilford, but a third Thai restaurant?!(I live in the burger capital of Connecticut, West Hartford, half the week when I am not in Guilford). I guess this town loves Thai. We stopped in to visit this new restaurant on Saturday night for takeout and realized this is not like the other two. We placed an order around dinnertime after looking at the online menu. The menu is interesting. There really is no «home» page, but instead iAppe, iSoup, iSalad, iNoodle, iFriedRice, etc., tabs. A neat feature: you can order online! We didn’t do that though. Through the phone we ordered the Massaman Curry for me and the Pineapple Fried Rice for my man. Our takeout order was ready in fifteen minutes even on a Saturday night. IThai is located in the same strip of shops that include Meriano’s Bake Shoppe, a pizza place, and a Dunkin Donuts. In keeping with the somewhat techie theme of the name + menu, the space inside the restaurant is small, hip, and modern. Ambience is fun and funky. From the entrance, there are a handful of tables on the left side and booths on the right. The open kitchen towards the back of the restaurant is nice in theory but since the space is on a the smaller side I imagined you’d run into the issue of smelling like food after eating there. Onto the food. Green and yellow curries are my favorites and if I am to order a curry dish it’d likely be one of these, but I branched out and tried Massaman curry for the first time and I loved IThai’s version of it. The opening of my takeout container revealed a large portion containing big chunks of potato, carrots cut like flowers, large pieces of of sweet onion, peanuts, and an ample amount of chicken in a deliciously mild sauce that had the right balance of flavors. It reminded me of my own homemade curries, only saucier and not as thick. I loved it so much I didn’t even have food envy over my boyfriend’s amazing Pineapple Fried Rice that stole two bites of. We also ordered spring rolls that came four to an order and remained perfectly crispy on our drive home. They were excellent alone and even better dipped in the sweet + sour + slightly hot sauce that came with it. Everything we ordered was terrific and we cannot wait to come back here again. The menu is diverse and includes unique dishes in addition to the more common dishes found at other Thai restaurants. My only complaint is that, although the portion size of the dish itself is great, the amount of accompanying jasmine rice is simply not enough. This is the case at many restaurants though. Perhaps I just have a bigger appetite for rice than most others, being of Asian descent. Other than that, we were very happy with our experience here and will definitely be back!
