The Thai chicken wings and vegetable steamed dumplings were perfect. Drunken noodles with chicken and Garlic shrimp entrees were the best we have ever had. Try the Hot Sake!

Love Ayuthai! I moved out of Guilford and still go back all the time! A Few Favorite dishes are the penang curry, drunken noodles and thai fried rice.

Best thai food around. Their drunken noodles taste authentic(that is the way that I expect them to taste, based on my experiences in LA). 5 stars.

You have to be looking for this place to find it, but the effort is worth it… Solid quality food and a truly exceptional/attentive staff make this a favorite of local who can appreciate a nice combination of Traditional and Americanized Thai food. Décor is basic and price is average, but you will keep coming back for the good food and great service!

After moving from NYC, we were in search of a good Thai restuarant. We have been there multiple times and the food is always great.

We’re eaten here many times and have also had takeout. While not an expert on Thai cuisine, I do know what I like and the Thai dishes we have had from Ayuthai are simply awesome. I wish the restaurant was a bit larger, but this is hardly a complaint. It is possible to ask the chef to modify the spiciness to your taste. If I could use one word to describe my experience here it would be dependable.

the food is really authentic. we have the special dish of beef(kinda like jerky) with sticky rice. And another dish is duck. Both are very good. the only disadvantage is that the location is hard to find while hard to believe this is it when we find it… haha But I will give five stars anyway

This is the best Thai restaurant in the area. Just really solid in every aspect. The only downside is the dining room is a little cramped.

This is the such an authentic restaurant in Guilford with the best tasting Thai food I’ve ever had. The dishes are rich in flavor, Chef is not skimping on fresh veggies unlike other Thai restaurants. Overall, I guess I appreciate the use of fresh veggies and healthy style of cooking the most here. The Chef must have a general affinity to health, Thai homestyle cooking. Pretty much everything I ordered came out lightly sauteed with its own distinct flavor, no need to cover up the delicate yet flavorful dishes in oil! Consistently serves yummy dishes and customer appreciation shows, Ayuthai is bustling on the weekends, live music on Sundays is an added entertaining bonus! Famous chef Jacques Pepin also frequents Ayuthai which is a testament to how extraordinarily legit this place is. Most importantly though is the customer service in this place, La, Xay are always very polite, friendly and greet us with a smile. Family-friendly, superb food and hard-working staff top-notch service!

I regularly order from Ayuthai and sometimes go in for lunch. This time I had: Summer rolls, Red curry shrimp and drunken noodles with tofu delivered on a Saturday night. I’ve had the summer rolls elsewhere but these were so fresh, such crisp greens. We absolutely loved our food– I only took away 1 star because the spice is inconsistent. I LOVE spicy, but we didn’t ask for anything out of he ordinary this Time. both the curry and the drunken noodles had much more heat than they have ever had in the past. My BF loves spice too and he thought it was super hot. We loved it but don’t know what to expect. Sometimes we order to share with kids — my son loves drunken noodles — we could not have shared this time.

We stopped by for a quick dinner on a Sunday night during a short road trip and discovered live Jazz! The food had great flavor– kefir lime and lemon grass, and the music was lovely. We enjoyed the larb. The Jungle curry is heaped with veggies perfectly cooked. I was a little surprised that it was a broth and not a thicker curry but it was quite tasty with a good kick. $ 7 crisp glasses of wine topped off the dinner perfectly.

Wow, this place is good! I’ve been for dinner a few times and have had a fabulous meal everytime. It’s not over priced and service is also good. Parking can be a problem as the lot is not very big and gets crowded on weekends

I love this place! The food is amazing. I am addicted to the fried rice. Very simple, but so good! The service is excellent and I am always impressed when I try something new. Best Thai food ever!

Average. Curry puffs were flavorless as was the chicken pad Thai. Massaman curry was good. Service on a slow night was attentive and friendly. Our seats were in a location where the floor is bouncy so when anyone walked by your chair moved. Not a big deal but it didn’t help. Prices are reasonable.

I love Thai food and this place is so good. Every dish I have gotten here has tasted amazing. One of the best Thai places in CT, if not the best. One of my favortie things is they bring out extra species if you ask. Lastly, the price for the food you get it is spot on.

We are regulars of Ayuthai — at least 1 visit a week and 1 takeout a week(yes, way too much) — but — we also went Friday after Thanksgiving! The service was absolutely horrible(not the first time, but we let it go before) — but this time — we were highly disappointed — we saw 4 groups walk out — no one waited on them — Mexay hired non Thai employees for the first time — 2 young girls — HORRIBLE at service and didn’t care(though they gave the impression they were working hard). They weren’t working smart — I thought I would get a break on the bill — unfortunately, Mexay could care less(and that was VERYDISAPPOINTING) — may not be returning anytime soon — I could overlook the poor service, waiting nearly an hour for food, appetizers coming AFTER our dinners — but I cannot overlook being ignored by the manager, Mexay and his obvious«I don’t care» attitude — not the way to treat loyal customers! So sad, because we REALLY love the food, it is good food!

Everything was very good. We especially liked the live jazz. My parents really enjoyed the drunken noodles. The atmosphere was great — not your typical Thai place. Definitely 5 stars.

I’m very lucky this restaurant is so close to my house! Best Thai on the shoreline. Sunday nights have an amazing jazz band that really sets the mood. Otherwise, I usually just order take out! The best dishes are the drunken noodle, and the pineapple curry shrimp dish. I have also had a fried fish there that was delicious as well! Everything is always really fresh! I wish there was a bit more seating at the bar though — it’s kind of small.

Ayuthai doesn’t look like much from the outside, but this place serves some amazing thai food. some of the best i have had in ct. i am a vegetarian and finding places that have so many options on the menu for me is always a good thing and it makes it easier to come back and try more from the menu. i started with spring rolls(they were predictably great) and an order of the Pad Ped String Bean for lunch. something i have never had before but it was delicious. Spicy sautéed string bean, bell pepper, bamboo shoot, lime leaves with red curry paste… yum. I am already planning my next visit.
