This is the third time our family has used A-​1. Tune up, brakes and now brakes on our second car. They are fast, friendly and fair. The waiting area is very nice, clean and my 7 year old daughter loves it because they have a wonderful play room. I was also happy to see that they now do emissions testing as well.

my husband brought his the truck here and after charging us $ 957.00 the truck died within days being stuck in our driveway. we had to spend an additional $ 133 for towing. the vehicle spent 6 weeks here. weekly being told another story. I finally asked for them to take out whatever they they put in and put our parts in so Texaco could diagnose the problem. they went to pick it up and the vehicle was in pieces. boxes of parts in the back seat… wires cut. etc the Guilford Police spoke with us and referred us to Civil Court. as they stated what was done was unacceptable! It is unacceptable this day in age to do this to anyone. we are just a local working family! I assure you this is being posted to help others not have to deal with a situation like this!

If you are looking for an auto company that will go above and beyond you should look no further! I took my car in after having an horrible experience with an auto company in Florida and they went far beyond what I could ever have expected to fix the problems with my car. Jon the owner was kind and helpful each time we brought it in. His mechanics are wonderfully helpful as well and looked like they truly enjoyed being at work.
This place takes care of those that come into see them. They are worth the drive if you live in New Haven or Hartford!
