Rolling Thunder Cloud Cafe

We had a difficult situation come up when we where in town and needed breakfast for the next day. These people made breakfast for us even though it was way past time to be serving breakfast and made sure we had everything we needed because they were going to be closed the next day. The food was wonderful.

I had the wonderful opportunity to stop at the Rolling Thunder Cloud Café during a drive with our MINI club. The owners were amazing and had a delicious Mac & Cheese ready for my two young children, which was quickly devoured. Everything is home made and filled with flavor. The service was top notch and considering the size of our group, they had food out in a timely manner. Thank you!

This place is my home away from home. Every time I step inside, I feel at home. Great conversation, great food, and great people.
My favorites are the oak smoked pulled pork, which is juicy and flavorful. I also love LOVE the biscuits and gravy. I have been to numerous other places and couldn’t tell where the biscuit stopped and the gravy started — none could come close to what is served at the Rolling Thunder Cloud Café.
I love the lemon cookies and the triple chocolate chip cookies and their lattes are FAR better than starbucks. I am a really picky eater and they are more than willing to make food to accommodate my tastes. I even drove to have their biscuits and gravy from Colorado Springs, CO!
The owners take a lot of pride in their food and it shows. Everything is fresh and delicious. If you leave hungry, it’s your fault! One of my absolute hands down favorite places to eat!

My friends and I were starving after a long 4^th of July camping trip and found ourselves stumbling into this gem! The brisket was amazing, the homemade pies were excellent, and the ownership couldn’t have been friendlier! I’d recommend The Rolling Thunder Cloud Café to anybody!

The environment is warm enough and the owners are friendly. I grabbed a coffee here in the morning on my trip across the U.S. I can’t say too much about them only stopped here for 15 mins or so but the environment was clean and relaxed. They close at 4 though so it’s definitely a morning place.

Rolling Thunder Cloud Café is the BEST. We had lunch and breakfast and we have to say, it was best food! I had the tomato bisque soup for lunch… so much flavor. SO GOOD! For breakfast we had made to order omelets. Spinach and all the veggies are fresh — my omelets was AMAZING! My husband had a brisket omelet… so flavorful. We ate slow and savored every bite!
It’s worth the drive to eat at the Rolling Thunder Cloud Café — you, too, will go back for more! The owners are awesome and so friendly. Love this place and so glad we stopped by. Excited to go back!

Great sandwich. Great service. Wi-​Fi in the middle of nowhere. They also have coffee, soda, etc. I overheard the owner/sandwich-maker’s wife helps him out. But she is a concert pianist, so she was elsewhere performing.
We came in with a large group. Sort of overwhelmed the gentleman. He appeared to also be in the middle of a routine health inspection. The inspector chatted with us. Seemed to be in a good mood. Didn’t suggest that we leave. So I take that as a good sign!
