Tried the Bee’s Blend with honey instead of caramel, and it was amazing! You can bring your own cup for a discount.

On a recent trip to Guerneville I stumbled upon this little nugget. You will not find a nicer more friendly staff and the coffee is fantastic. I found myself walking over daily after my first visit. The homemade whip cream is a must as well.

Coffee nook with personality! It was an interesting find, glad they had the sign board on Mill Street otherwise we might not have stumbled upon this place. Located 1 street behind the Main Street ok, we needed help finding it but by the looks of things the locals know exactly were to go! Coffee range was that of the main coffee chains but this was definitely a better prepared coffee and I enjoyed browsing the handmade crafts on sale here. The walls and shelving was filled with unique crafts, very alternative. Treated myself to a sippy mason jar with handmade cosie :-) Perfect spot for coffee on the go or hanging there, they have indoor seating as well as outdoor seating to the front of shop and also around the rear yard where a terrace area was laid on! Cool place, wish I wasn’t a wandering tourist… I’d be here more often of local

Best coffee in Guerneville hands down. They must sprinkle some extra magic or something it’s that good.

Love this coffee nook in the woods! My daughter and I like to plop down and enjoy yummy treats and good conversation with Emily. The Madagascar vanilla milk shake contraption is to die for and she has all the milk alternatives for the veggies out there. Best alternative to the Starbucks in the Safeway ;) If you’re lucky you’ll catch a jam session by local musicians out back on the patio w/a cute garden. THUMBSWAYUP for Higher Ground!

Best Coffee! This is the place to start your day. A very funky hangout for locals and tourists, get your coffee and fresh pastries, listen to live music or play along! There are books, games, instruments of music and very friendly locals. Bring your own cup for a discount.

Higher Ground for LIFE!!! Best coffees(americano style), homemade yummies, amazing local arts/crafts and best baristas in the world! Coffee Bazaar is tourist central and personally, not as ace. The locals know… LOVEMESOMEHIGHERGROUND!!!

The best coffee. They do not serve drip coffee, only americanos, so it is always fresh and hot and really really strong. Honestly I would go there more but the parking is a pain and there isn’t much hang out space. Love the local crafts and art for sale.

Since moving to Guerneville, Higher Ground has become my favorite purveyor of coffee … anywhere. I’m so hooked that if I’m eating breakfast somewhere else in town, I’ll get my coffee at Higher Ground first! I’m so hooked that when I visit LA, the fancy $ 6/cup pour-over coffee, tastes weak! Their drinks are espresso based, but the Americanos don’t have that bitter meets watery bite that others do. They also serve great local teas, and even better house blends.

Not being a Coffee drinker, I passed this place by many times without stopping. One day I finally stopped in, but, only because I was with a friend that is hooked on their organic expresso. Wow, was I surprised! They have much more than coffee there. Yummy homemade treats, and I had a Chai Tea Latte that was awesome.

A great cup of espresso! This place is literally hidden from the road at the bend when leaving Guerneville going west. I shall frequent this establishment when abalone diving since I am usually hung over, and I don’t like the $H17 they serve at starbucks, etc.

As a Peets fan I couldn’t bring myself to go to Starbucks so this was a great find. Friendly atmosphere, a few pastries and a good freshly brewed cup of coffee!

Coffee was a little bit better than Coffee Bazaar. Not amazing, but good. Bagel was industrial blah. Homey, country rasta vibe. Friendly staff, lotsa local flavor. Very small joint, not many places to sit. No drip coffee, espresso drinks only. No pastries the morning we went: «Some mornings we have ‘em, some we don’t.»

Great, simple, fresh cup of coffee, every time. Actually the best in the area, IMO. Organic, well roasted, ground and brewed one cup at a time. The owner is super friendly and down to earth. There are bagels and some muffins, IIRC, but it’s their coffee that rocks! Thank you!
