We pass through Groveland frequently on our way to Yosemite. We finished an all day hike and were on our way home late. We ate all of our food during the hike and were starving but it was after 11 pm and everything was closed. We saw lights on inside Pizza Factory and weren’t sure if they were still open. When we walked in, they said they were closed and they were cleaning up for the night but they offered to make us a pizza anyway as they closed up if we didn’t mind them cleaning up. We were starving so we were thrilled! They made us a pizza and let us sit inside and eat it. They don’t have the best pizza I’ve ever had, but at that moment it was the best I’d ever had! Soooo friendly to offer to do that, and for that they get a 5 star! Thanks!

pizza is inconsistent. sometimes good other times not so good. Tables are usually dirty and messy. They leave the old dishes on the tables for hours before they get around to cleaning up. Salad bar is a mess. Only eat here as a last resort. Try Ellie’s up the street.

On our way back from Yosemite, stopped for pizza here. Was busy inside and took awhile to get our salad no pizza, but tasted really good. We had the all meat and was loaded with ham, sausage pepperoni, bacon etc for $ 25.95 which is kind of pricey, but if you check in on Unilocal, there is a $ 2 off a large pizza. Beer and wine is cheap with Sierra Nevada on tap. And they know how to pour a beer on tap without foam! Been here a couple of times and will be back!

We were on our way home from Yosemite and just stopped in. The manager was super friendly. We ordered the all meat pizza. She made it from scratch in under 10 minutes. It was so good my wife and I ate the whole thing. If we ever pass this way again we will definitely stop here. It wasn’t the cheapest pizza we had, but I wasn’t looking for Dominos. Give the a try.

Great pizza and service! If you live in town or just passing by, you must try this place out! They also have toasted sandwiches and cheap pitchers of beer!

We’ve been coming to PML/Groveland for 20 years. We’ve tried all the eateries in town. this was new. so we decided to try it. $ 15 for a tasteless, super greasy, medium pepperoni pizza. I never understand how someone can mess up Pizza. it’s so basic. Sorry Pizza Pies for cheating on you! lol

Ok, Not my usual fare, but Groveland is a small town and the options are limited and I needed to sit with something cold to drink and hot to nosh and solid internet with not hassles. I am so glad Kevin and Randi at the deli recommended them. The iced tea was decent. The pizza was tasty, and the wi-fi was ROCK solid. The huge wrap around veranda was perfect for sitting, sipping and working. It was quiet and pleasant sitting there and I enjoyed the mini Greek pizza.

The pizza is mediocre at best. The place is very dirty inside and outside. The tables were not cleaned and left sticky. We waited about 30 minutes. Everything seemed very unorganized. Also the pizza was very expensive. We paid about 60 dollars for two medium and one small pizza. They use the fact that there are not very many choices. Please do not go here if you do have another choice.

Waiting time was so long. My friend got mad and went to talk to the worker and finally pizza came. Also the service was not good. When 5 of us tried to find a table, open tables were all not cleaned, so we had to tell the worker to clean up. then long wait. Pizza was nothing special. It was after 3 day backpaking in Yosemite, still filling but if not after hiking, it will be 1 star.

We we very surprised with the quality of the pizza and the friendliness of the staff here. We stopped on our way to Yosemite and didn’t expect much; however the quality of the pizza turned out to be on a par with the better pizzerias located in big cities. If you are on SR120 and passing through Groveland, I would highly recommend giving this pizza joint a try. Did I mention that they have a nice selection of beers, both bottled and on tap? They do.

Waited for my pizza for 45+ minutes. Drive to another place for normal service. But pizza was good.

What I love most about this place is its support of the local community! They are willing to give donations and hold fundraisers at any given time! Such a blessing to have in this community. That alone would make me wanna eat here! And their Groveland special type of pizza is delicious! All the highschool kids that work here are treated well and the managers work with their schedules to make sure academics is number one! Thank you pizza factory!

Great stop on way to/from Yosemite… friendly staff & tastey food. Their large calzone is slightly bigger than a football… enough for two people. $ 5 pitchers of beer on Sunday… what else could you want to help you transition back to the real world from a stay at Yosemite.

After a tiring day at the Yosemite national park, we(Me, my wife and my dad) were very late for dinner and found very few places open at 9:00PM in the night. We saw this place in Unilocal and stopped by. Though it was late, a person called Moon was welcoming and friendly. He accommodated our requests to make vegetarian dishes and made it very tasty. We were extremely happy with the food and the hospitality. We recommend the tomato basil soup here as a must have.

Was in town for my birthday weekend to visit Yosemite with 5 other girls. This place was the only food place open at 9pm after a long day at the park. With the food being okay and the prices are pretty decent, the only thing we had a bad experience with was the service from ONE guy who worked there. Everyone else were kind and tended to us well. We walked in at about 9:30pm and the place closes at 10. Most of the guys greeted and welcomed us. But the one who ended up serving us was EXTREMELYRUDE. He told us we couldn’t dine in but we were okay with that so we ordered to go. As we ordered, he kept telling us most of the toppings we ordered he ran out of. Which is strange since we ordered extra chicken toppings for a Hawaiian pizza and he said no, then the All Meat pizza we also ordered had pizza chicken toppings on it. It seemed as if he was rushing the cooking process and some of the pizzas tasted a tad bit undercooked. There was only one other table there and I’m pretty sure they were his friends waiting for him to end his shift so they can hang out. I can tell because they weren’t dining, just waiting and the boy kept walking over to them and telling them to wait for him. He was also rude to another man who walked in to use the ATM and he said the ATM wasn’t working but the man still went over to try and it did! But there was one nice man with a hat who was helping the boy who was very kind to us and kept apologizing for the boy’s behavior. I thought he was sweet and helpful. As he gave us our food, he was listing all the items we ordered and the boy just comes up behind him and shouts IT’S ALLTHERE! & walks over to his friends. Rudest server I’ve ever met. I’m actually surprised no one has commented on this guys on here. Well here’s a description of him: Caucasian, brunette curly haired, looks about 20 yrs old, also with a bad attitude. A message to Pizza Factory, I am not over exaggerating when leaving a complaint about this young man. I’ve been with Unilocal for 5 years and have never left a review for any business. I’m actually sad that your business had to be my first review but a negative one. I’m from Los Angeles and visit Yosemite often. But I don’t think my family and friends will be going to your business after the experience that young man gave us. If you could, I’d like the name of the boy so I can file a formal complaint. Thank you and thanks to the other man who helped this boy and was so gracious to us.
