I did not like the Pizza I received here. I have tried Cheese and Pepperoni. It’s the only reason I visited so my review must be only 1 star.

Huge let down. And to think this place has won countless awards. 1. The pizza was bland and under cooked and over salty. 2. My italian sub was barely cooked, the lettuce was wilted and disgusting and it looked like they had literally poured italian salad dressing on a warm store bought hoagie bun. 3. The breadsticks were too salty, to the point they tasted like a mall pretzel. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because the girl at the register was very friendly. Other than that i refuse to ever order here again when i have 4 or 5 other pizza shops on the same street that do it better

Update — That night, we ordered our usual extra cheese pizza w/breadsticks. Always extra cheese here(I have some of the receipts). Sometimes in addition to extra cheese, light veggies or we get wild and have pepperoni. For you to form your own opinion, you need all the facts, so confirming our order was our usual and not something new to us. I don’t like to leave negative reviews. I usually find something good to say about a business. But we were Tammy’s customers for years and one of their business statements is «Providing the customer with excellent service, and a consistently superior product at a reasonable price.» Final time, the product was not consistent or superior nor was the customer service excellent. Got our pizza home and grease was pooling on top. Pizzas have a certain amount of grease, with Tammy’s it was always minimal and never pooling. We knew what to expect from Tammy’s and this wasn’t it. My husband took it back, less than 2 miles to the store. The young lady at the counter acknowledged the pizza would not normally look that way and wanted to remake it. She reluctantly agreed to fresh breadsticks. Why should we keep breadsticks that will be cold while they remake a bad pizza? Second pizza looked as bad as the first. My husband requested a refund, unsure if we want to return since something is different and inferior but she stated, «We don’t do refunds.» A second young lady chimed in they had already used«product» making 2 orders of pizza/breadsticks. That’s our fault? We didn’t eat any of it and have better things to do with our time and money than deal with this. She left to speak to the owner, I assume by phone but have no idea since he didn’t give us the courtesy of speaking to us. She said he agreed to give the purchase back on a gift card instead. They couldn’t produce their«consistently superior product», then acted as if we were unreasonable and putting them out. Why would we WANT to return? This is how you lose several customers in one night. Another of their business statements is «There’s a big difference between the big chains and the Independent Pizzerias. Come on in and we’ll prove it to you.» They proved it — I’ve never had a chain store remake a pizza that didn’t come out fine the second time. We went from Tammy’s to the«big chain» down the road with the Big Don subs and fresh(not canned) mushrooms and had one of the best pizzas ever. The«big chain» wins.

My husband loves their pizza because the sauce doesn’t upset his stomach. I don’t like the pizza so I tried an Italian sub. There was barely any meat or veggies on it; mostly just toasted bread. Given a choice, I would pick Tammy’s last over other shops.

Well now, I do like me some Central Ohio style pizza and Tammys is one place in the area that makes a conventional pie, nothing fancy, just the standard that we all know. Sitting down to lunch with Mark K., we both felt it was a decent pizza. My particular thoughts were that it’s not a bad pizza but it could have been better. Let me explain. It’s not the most flavorful pizza I’ve ever had. While the crust was really good, the sauce needed a little something and they don’t brown the toppings enough. I think an extra few minutes under the broiler would have easily taken this from a 3 to a 4 as it really needed that to bring out that slightly charred, baked just right goodness that makes a better pie. They do cut it into squares, as it should be. Other than that, there’s plenty of parking all around, the tiny dining room is clean and the service… well, I’ll just say, «try smiling pumpkin», it goes a long way with me. All in all, I’ve had better, I’ve also had much worse. 3 Stars.

A solid little local pizza joint. And I do mean little. There are a few tables, and it was empty when Mike G. and I went, but during lunch or dinner it would be crazy. It has your basic pizza and subs, at reasonable prices. I went with a small sausage/tomato/banana pepper combo. The crust was great– crispy and chewy, and just the right carrier for everything else. The sauce was okay. The cheese was, well, there was plenty and the consistency was good. There just wasn’t much flavor. The toppings were pretty darn good. All in all, a good lunch, with plenty left over for later. Service was okay, maybe a little lackadaisical. The restroom has one of the highest-mounted urinals I’ve seen; I almost had an issue… Not a destination restaurant, but if you’re nearby, worth checking out.

We got an ad saver book today and in it was Tammy’s saying that they won the best pizza award and we thought we should give it a try. I am the adventurous pizza eater and will do white pizzas and such happily. He is the very traditional pizza eater who is most happy with a plain old pepperoni pizza. So his feedback I will cover first. His major feedback as he ate it was it is way too salty. He wasn’t sure if it was the sauce or the pepperoni or the apparent seasoning on top, but he very strongly felt it was way too salty. He finally determined it was probably from the pepperoni. He felt that the sauce was spotty with some bites having little to no sauce flavor at all. He did think the crust was good and it was cheesy. Biggest no no for him was too much salt and too greasy as you can see in the picture. For me I liked the sweet sauce, but it is spotty some bites were great and others scarce which to me means they are not spreading the sauce well and perhaps that is because they have a younger person back there just slopping it on. I agree that it was way greasy and maybe a bit more salty then your average pepperoni pizza, but I am a fan of the pepperoni on top baking method giving that nice little crispiness to the pepperoni. The cheese was stinky(stinky cheese is usually a good sign :) and they piled it on high. I liked the crust well enough. They were quicker then the 20 minutes they quoted which is why I feel our pizza was not hot enough(we live less then 5 minutes from this location.) With so many choices for pizza close by I imagine that the two of us just won’t visit this place much if at all.

Award winning! Crust is the best, like Donato’s or Massey’s but more so. Cheese is pretty awesome tasting too. Almost like a Romano. Edge to edge toppings, square cut, this is the epitome of Columbus style pizza.

Tammy’s is exactly what I expect from a local pizza place. Nothing fancy or new but the pizza is great! It feels like the kind of place that knows their regulars and develops relationships with the community. The prices are pretty good and the pizza quality is excellent! I am a Plain Jane, cheese and pepperoni, and Tammy’s is my favorite place in Grove City. I wish they would take the time and pit the quality into other items that they do the pizza. I’ve ordered salad a few times and it’s little more than iceberg and cheese… it gets the job done but, could be improved. Parking is also very convenient with on street and several lots near by. Love Tammy’s for their pizza.

We tried Tammy’s again a few weeks ago. We ordered a mushroom pizza. It was actually a lot better than I remembered. I am assuming the few times I had been there before were off days? I still think the other Tammy’s on 665 does a better job on a pizza. But this is still a pretty good thin crust pizza.

we drove out to Tammy’s from the West Side and the reason is simple, my wife is also a Tammy and wanted to try it. We got a large pie with pepperoni and extra cheese and it was amazing. The thicker crust, LOTS of cheese, spicy but not too spicy pepperoni. I am a fan and can’t wait for our Friday night pizza this week because we’re going back to Tammy’s

Everyone raves about Tammy’s, but personally I don’t like it. Crust is adequate, sauce is mehh, and I think there are too many toppings. For the price, I’d rather get Donato’s or Papa John’s pizza.

Upon writing this review I also wrote it for Tammys Pizza till I noticed that I went to the one on Broadway. Did I go to the wrong place, seeing the reviews for Hoover were way better than here? Same owner, so it can’t be that much better, and I thought Broadway way nicer, it smelt good and was packed! All the outdoor seating was taken and their phone was ringing off the hook, people going in and out with loads of pizza boxes we figured it must be good. First of all it is expensive. $ 16 for a large 1 topping pizza, YIKES! So we opted for just that, 1 topping and got one with bacon and one with ham(maybe that was the first mistakt not getting the standard pep) and an order of garlic bread. Yes, the pizzas were huge and had a ton of toppings and the cornmeal I love on the bottom, but the sauce was nonexistant, the cheese provolone(seems mozz was too expensive…)and the ham my husband swore was budding, yuck. The bacon one was better(because bacon is always good) but still no sauce, crust thin and bland. In my husbands words, its pretty bad when the garlic bread is better than the pizza… Must be packed because its a local small chain, maybe all of Grove City knows and loves«Tammy» but we won’t be back.
