China Max

The food here is less greasy than most other Chinese restaurants. By far one of the better Chinese places out there. The employees there are very likable and respective towards people.

Best choice at the food court but still terrible. Bland, greasy, and overpriced. And the chicken was junk. I don’t know how this poor of quality meat can actually be served. But I’m famished and just paid $ 11 for an entrée with drink and cheese wonton so I’m eating it. While my friend continues shopping.

Was over at Grove City Premium Outlets with the fam and had to stop by for some food. Being with the rents, they always prefer Chinese food… even if it’s fastfood Chinese food. So no biggie, why not. Typically down in the states fastfood Chinese food is usually decent and the portions are big. It’s a great bang for your buck when you compare it to other options, no difference here.
Wanted to make it a quick lunch so we each grabbed a simple 1 meat, 1 veg/​side and rice. The price was under 7 after tax so it wasn’t bad at all. I got the BBQ Chicken, Mixed Vegs with Broccoli and Veggy Fried Rice. Everything wasn’t horrible but didn’t taste as fresh as you would hope. And when I mean fresh I mean, it felt like they were cooking broccoli that was nearing the end of its freshiness life. The BBQ Chicken was alright. It tasted like chicken that was grilled and glazed with «Char Siu» sauce. The Veggy Fried Rice, not bad had much worse at a restaurant before so no complaints overall.
So Overall, I would give China Max a 2.5. Why you may ask? It’s tough cause I just expect a little bit better in terms of freshiness from the veggies. If it wasn’t for that, it would have been a solid 3 mainly based on bang for your buck. And when you’re shopping and wanna make the most use of your time, you try and find food that will fill ya for the long haul. China Max will do that so I’ll be back. Let’s hope for fresher veggies next time.
