First visit to CT all the way from Texas… enjoyed this great little place. The food was amazing! The Uncle Sam(grilled chicken sandwich) was delish along with the Poor Harley pizza equaled a complete meal. Friendly Staff and fun atmosphere! Love it!

I want to love it. I really do. If the prices were better I think I would add an extra star(we voted a 2.5 in the house). The pizza is decent, some better than others. The crust is often burnt beyond what I like my wood fire pizza. The really problem is the toppings. You order the KONA and there may be one of each topping on each slice of pizza… that just stinks. Coming from a land of fast food pizza joints that load on the toppings, the pizzas can look a little sad. The toppings are fresh and great… just a bit scarce. Ordering delivery? You must spend at least $ 50… So we pick up. The staff is kind enough. Some more than others. The wings are really good… but $ 1 a piece. It’s just a little pricier than some of the other places… but once again, the wings are fresh and well made. If they dropped a buck or so off each item I think it would be a better contender for the other places around.

Fresh, tasty food! The chicken panini is so good! Cake lovers = the best carrot cake. They have lots of varieties of cakes and the portions are humongous!!!

Love their pizza! Nice thin and chewy crust, ample toppings without the grease. Delicious! Our choices were the«Big Stubby» with pepperoni, sausage, meatball and bacon, and«Balmer Mountain” — their yummy BBQ chicken pizza with bacon, mozzarella and caramelized onions. Outstanding! We will definitely order here again. Wish they delivered for orders under $ 50.

The Pizza and the Love salad is the tastest combo. Delish. Had it twice and tried a different pizza each time. I do wish the Pizza came in a bigger size. But overall a great taste discovery.

Good pizza and wings. Prices right. My only complaint is the pizzas were a little small. Nice environment.

Pizza came out really fast and was incredible. Got the chicken pepper and onion(Old blue eyes). Service was fast and both employees were very nice. As someone just in the area temporarily I can say this place is a must

Let’s start with the service was good. The problem was the pizza was not!!! Our FIRST pizza came to us soggy and not cooked in the middle. We asked her to put it back in the oven for a little longer and she took it and said they would make a new one. The second one… It came out as the picture shown. Totally burnt on the edges no chance of eating the crust and the middle was still soggy! Ugh I actually couldn’t believe she even brought the second one out to us looking like that. It was 2:45 in the afternoon, only my boyfriend and I and another couple at the table behind us. It was clear now that they weren’t going to get it right so we just asked for a box, paid and left. The server gave us $ 2 off for our troubles but honestly we shouldn’t have paid anything. We order from here all the time. It is usually great. This was our first time eating inside and I won’t probably do it again and we probably won’t order from there for a while now simply because there wasn’t much effort to make our experience better. If you’re looking for really good brick oven pizza, Brick and Basil in Norwich is phenomenal and they have yet to let us down!

Great pizza and great ambience! Love their thin crust pizzas, just enough toppings to not make it feel over loaded. They have a great variety of wings with bold flavors. Only thing I would say is that one time the center of my pizza is too soggy, but it was still delicious!

DEE-LISH! Great pizza made fresh and to order. The Rolling Tomato is a great supporter of community events, too.

3 stars is purely a price issue here, the food is above average, but no where near the value of what you have to pay, a large is not enough for more than two people and at $ 14+ for a pizza it’s much more costly than anywhere else near bye…

My boyfriend and I just picked up takeout from here and we are thoroughly impressed. We ordered a Jenny’s Tail pizza and a small Uncle Sam sandwich. The pizza was amazing. Thin, crunchy crust with fresh ingredients and delicious sauce. The sandwich was also amazing. Putting the sandwich in the Tuscan bread is really nice added touch. My only qualm was that half of the sandwich was falling apart. Like I’m talking insides of the sandwich oozing out and getting everywhere. Regardless it was seriously delicious and we will be back.

Pizza’s and Calzone’s are GREAT here. Either use the many pre-existing selection of ingredients or create your own. Chicken wings are okay, to saucy and tend to be tough to digest if they are not hot(But i tried these once, so I might try again in future to confirm). Price is very reasonable and service is pretty friendly.

Stopped here for lunch with 4 colleagues and not a one of us was disappointed. We started off sharing some wings and rosemary bread, and followed that up with a variety of their pizzas, which were uniformly delicious. The owner started off in a truck and has been rocking in this location — given the quality of the offerings, it comes as no surprise.

ETA: When I was pregnant my labor contractions started, I wanted to eat out one last time before the baby came. So I chose this place! The waitress even asked if I was timing contractions on my phone. Haha good memories, Groton. Thanks for the pizza!

This pizza is really really good!!! I had the princess pizza(manly right?) and it was so good!!! It had chicken and a peanut sauce on it that I loved. It’s a little pricy for pizza though. Worth the splurge once and awhile though! I loved how they quickly jumped on the technology bandwagon and had the tablet for payments. I wish the social media was a bit stronger though. I like to check out Unilocal reviews and see how active the company is on social media before checking out new places. I was disappointed to see the owner who ever controls the social media accounts posted personal opinions that may cause potential customers to stay away. Go take a look and scroll through their timeline. I wish businesses would use social media more! Especially small businesses! For example have a sign that says post a selfie using #RollingPizza or something to increase their presence and awareness. The establishment is cool though, I like the license plates on the wall, and the local artist paintings for sale.

Got the Zoey Bear — just awesome! Any place where half the menu is white pizza pretty much is going to start with at least four stars for me. Staff was friendly, helpful. Will definitely come back!

Gluten free wood fired pizza! We were greeted by Babe, the owner’s mom. That was a delight in itself. She made me feel welcomed and kinda like I was right at home. I ordered the Noah’s Ark white pizza with a gluten free crust. The crust is not their own… a typical thin gluten free pie crust. The toppings, however, were fabulous! Mozzarella, ricotta, carmalized red onion, spinach and bacon. I asked for addrd fresh tomatoes… no problem! Hot, fresh, delicious! I would love to try ALL other combinations!!! My bf had wings. They weren’t very spicey hot but meaty, cooked well and good. They offer many ‘flavors’ of wings… but he will only eat the ‘real’, buffalo wings with blue cheese(never ranch). No celery… not an issue. They offer a Hughie Love Salad as well. Highly recommended… go visit their Groton restaurant.
