Trick or Treating in The Village

This was rather cool. I just happened to be in Downtown Grosse Pointe at lunch when all of these little costumes just started appearing. Apparently this is the city sponsored event for all of the younger children. There was a costume contest for all kids that were dressed up in their Halloween best — none of the participants looked over the age of 12. I left smiling. I had three favorites: the boy dressed as an old man (good character actor), the boy on the tricycle dressed as a clown (tricycle missing handebars), and the little boy dressed as a toilet (yes, a toilet). The toilet was by far my favorite out of all of them.
