Amazing staff, best chiropractors in the area. We found some crazy health issues I had been dealing with half my life and have never felt better! Dr. Chris is the BEST!!!

My dad fist saw Dr. Jantz a few years ago, and, after years of asking my sisters and I to go to the Alternative Healthcare Center to experience the same incredible health benefits he had, he offered to pay for our sessions if we went. We ended up making appointments with Dr. Shell, and we are in agreement that it was the best thing we have ever done. Dr. Shell is an incredible practitioner, a genuinely sweet and caring individual, and by far the nicest person I have ever met. The strides she has helped us make in our lives are amazing, and I honestly could not speak highly enough of her. We all rave about her to our friends and family, urging them to read her book (at the very least) and to make an appointment to start changing their lives for the better!

Been coming here for 1 ½−2 yrs now. A friend of mine recommended Alternative Health when I complained to her about neck & back pain. She goes there for the health/​wellness portion, but recommended Dr. Chris for a chiropractor.
I was skeptical at first. I always heard «once you go to a chiropractor, you have to keep going» and that scared me. People said it like it’s a bad thing, but I quickly realized it’s not bad at all. Despite my reservations, I decided to go anyways because I needed a solution to my aches & pains.
Once visiting Dr. Chris, I realized that the headaches I had been getting we’re caused by my neck being all «jammed up.» Once I got adjusted — no more headaches! Yeah the first time was scary, but now it’s the highlight of my week when I know I have an upcoming appt!
I went today after nearly a year long lapse in appointments. I feel so much better! Immediately afterwards my arm started feeling tingling, and he explained it’s the nerve flow. You don’t realize how much gets compromised and how much your body compensates for things being out of whack.
Do I have to see a chiropractor forever? No. Will I go forever? Definitely! I’d much rather things be right and feeling good, then things be wrong and feeling like I need to take an ibuprofen when there’s a better/​healthier/​longer-​term solution. I’m a lifer!

Dr. Shell is simply the best chiropractor on the East Side and the staff is helpful and friendly!
