This is a cute little movie theatre! There are 3 viewing rooms, all with entrances and exits on only one side. The frontmost theatre has an aisle in the middle, which makes getting in and out during the movie as easy as it gets. The other two theatres though have aisles on either side, meaning people sitting in the middle can get trapped in. Not optimal but not the end of the world. There are frequently promotions to go and see movies at discounted prices, possibly with discounted snacks. I believe Tuesday is free popcorn day, and before a certain time the movies are even cheaper than the astonishingly cheap 8 dollars a ticket for primetime Friday night première movies. The popcorn is always good and well-buttered, and the prices for the snacks are more reasonable than any other movie theatre I’ve seen before. I always opt for the large bucket of popcorn because it’s a dollar more than the small size and I feel like I’m helping the business. I hope it stays open for a long time to come!

Great place to go and watch a movie. Clean! Great seating. Wonderful deal on the popcorn and pop… refills…are you sure? Yep. We had a great time. Great date night, or fun with friends.

a cute, independent theater in the heart of grinnell. it was pretty empty when we were there, but I imagine it’s a full house during the academic year. the admission was a mere $ 7, and the seats were comfy too(not always the case with the indie theaters!)
