Lady’s Gourmet Popcorn

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! No more going into the city for Garrett’s for this girl! I think all the flavors are amazing and their chicago mix is even better! yumm-​o!

My coworker told me about this place because they had reps at the farmers market and I was looking for a good snack that wasn’t potato chips. The man and I headed there and saw the owner and she was giving out samples. This is what love is!!! We didn’t have enough cash to buy what we wanted so she directed us to her storefront down the street. The mix is literally THE BEST, it is always fresh. However she gets all these flavored in popcorn is unbelievable to me. Flavored from a traditional movie butter to completely out there frooty loops… unbelievable. It almost freaks me out how much the popcorn tastes like the food it’s flavored after. My dog even loves the treats she sells on the side haha. Long story short… get your butt in there, there is something for everyone! You won’t regret it, might come out about 30 dollars less, but it is so worth it.

Go here and buy everyone Christmas presents. Then for the next year everyone you care about will think you’re the best person they know because you’ve opened their eyes to the magic that is Lady’s. Then next year they will gift this delicious popcorn to their own loved ones, earning themselves the love and adoration that you feel they deserve. It’s the right thing to do.

I have been coming here since they were in the Friday market in town… So when they opened up shop I was happy to get my popcorn there. They like changing up the popcorn flavors so join the Facebook page to see what they have for that day. They only have so many flavors so made fresh very often during the day. I haven’t had a flavor I didn’t think was bad… Of course theres some I just didn’t like but others loved! My favorite is the buffalo blue and hot chocolate not combined of course… If you are in the area check them out…

Driving through downtown Griffith I spotted this lil gourmet popcorn shop and decided to try it. I walked in and was impressed by the variety of flavors such as spicy, ranch, caramel, cheddar, etc… I was told I could purchase a refillable bucket which I could then bring back and refill at a discounted rate. I thought, hmm I better not since I’ve never had great gourmet popcorn outside of Chicago and was concerned I would not like it. Boy was I wrong! I tried the traditional Chicago mix (caramel/​cheddar) which is now called the «Central Park» mix and it was great! Very comparable, if not better, than the Chicago ones. I can’t wait to go back to try other flavors and purchase that refillable bucket! ;)

Every time we are in from Cleveland, we have to stop. Their Central Park mix (formerly Chicago Mix) is the best we’ve had. I think the secret is their recipe for the cheese popcorn part. Shelf life on the popcorn is amazing, easily going a week or more… if you can stop yourself from eating it that long of course! You only get a fraction of that from the bigger Chicago makers. Their variety of flavors has something for everyone and always rotating. My favorites though are the variety of hot/​spicy flavors!

Love it! I usually don’t like caramel corn but I loved this one… And the cheddar… and butter…

If you love popcorn, you better stop at Lady’s. They are serving up some delicious home made recipes that will get you hooked! The cinnamon roll popcorn, Chicago mix and 5 alarm flavors are awesome.
Their prices are reasonable. Cheaper than that other «famous» popcorn place in Chicago and just as good! You can also bring back your empty container for a refill at $ 3 off the price.
