I came here with my husband. I was not impressed with the service or the food. The waitress was rude and aged like we were horrible for walking in the door. I will never come here again!!!

I’m a fan of O’Charleys but not this location. Based on the service here, it’s clear that they will hire ANYBODY! I placed a to-go order over the phone. The girl on the phone ask me if I wanted to come in and pick it up or do curbside. I said Curbside. So when I pulled up to where you park for curbside. I waited about 5 mins and decided to call. I ask them if they rather I come in, instead of waiting. The girl said«Oh no we will bring it out to you, just give me 2 mins» I wait for 10 mins, saw 2 waitress come out and take a smoke break. So I decided to go inside Bc I thought they probably were busy and forgot about me. I get in there and there is hardly anyone in there. Lol The host comes up looking lost and ask me what I needed and I told her I called and needed my order. She said okay let me get it. Then she comes back and says I have to go to the bar and get it. I get to the bar and I tell the bar tender I would like my to-go order. He say my name and says«Oh I couldn’t bring it to you bc I can’t leave the bar.»(mind you there was no one at the bar. Lol) Then he says from 3 – 5 we like people to come in and I told him, that it wasn’t a problem but the host gave me the option when I called and I offered to come in but she said that she would bring it out. No one ever said that Curbside wasn’t an option until I got to the bar. Instead of just apologizing he gives me my food that was sitting next to his register in a clear bag bc the ran out of bags. I believe it was sitting there for a long time bc my food was very cold and it didn’t even taste good. I left and will never come here again. I honestly see why they have 2 out of 5 stars. The staff has poor service, very unorganized and the food isn’t great here anymore. Pathetic

Went there tonight 1÷29÷16 because husband was in mood for prime rib. They always USED to have awesome prime rib until tonight. He ordered a half pound and when they brought it out it was maybe a third of a pound and almost paper thin. Needless to say this was not worth the $ 15 we paid for it. Mentioned it to waitress in hopes she would send manager over… nope didn’t happen. Now anyone who has had their prime rib knows it’s at least ½ inch thick or more. That’s a shame cause we may not go back. Service is still slow and food not that great.

Very poor service, mediocre food. Food looked better on the menu than what was served. We tried their southern inspired menu, not appetizing at all.

I’ve given this place the benefit of doubt time and again, and it still disappoints every time. Today’s visit was my last. My server managed to get my order wrong… TWICE! Tends to happen when he/she tries to remember the order instead of writing it down. Service overall was pathetically slow. The food didn’t fare much better. And thanks to corporate removing some of the better menu items, I’ve no desire or need to go back. If you like crappy service and subpar food, this place is for you!

Service needs some improvement and menu needs updating. The best thing to eat is the potato soup.

After seeing many times the TV ad for prime rib weekends, we decided to try it. My husband was unable to eat his or mine! Tough tough!!! The waitress and the manager were great though and the manager comped our entire meal! Would never order the prime rib again but the manager made our night memorable!

So… after not going to O’Charley’s for over 5 years or so due to several not so great food experiences, we decided to give it another try. We were pleasantly surprised. The steak I ordered was plump and full of flavor, in stark contrast to the flat bland steak I had eaten here years ago. My husband ordered hamburger steak, medium rare, and it came rare– which is not a safe bet for hamburger. However, the manager was wiping down tables and just happened to notice the meat that he had set to the side, and offered to re-cook it. However, after waiting about 20+ minutes for the steak to be finished, we realized they had forgotten about it. So, my husband motioned for the manager to return– which she did– and noticed quickly that his meat had not been returned. She immediately ordered a full and brand new plate of food– cooked well done– along with a slice of pie for our son and extra rolls. We asked for it to go, and they profusely apologized. All in all, the kitchen made a mistake, but the manager did a WONDERFUL job making up for it. We will come back sooner than 5 years. :)

Restaurant is very small compared to AppleBees and Olive Garden. Menu is somewhat limited if u are searching for a wide variety. It will be much better they had more tv’s spread around the small restaurant instead of one tv at the bar. Seating is limited when it’s busy. If you are tall like me I suggest you to sit on the regular seats instead of the booths. Not that much space inside for a large crowd.

They have gone downhill bad. It’s not the same as it used to be. I used to love the bread, but now it’s small and hard. The service is horrible on certain nights and the dining room is often filthy. Me and my family went for mother’s day and I can honestly say that will be the last time. Food was all on the floors and tables, our silver wear was dirty and then the waiter had the audacity to try and take his tip out from our bill. I understand what’s its like being in the food industry but that was just plain out crazy. I really got they can improve because it would be sad if they shut down.

Food is great. Service is great. Not sure why the other reviews are so critical. Good pub and great happy hour from 3pm to 7pm and 9pm to close. Newly remodeled. Try the pie. Yuengling and Jailhouse now on tap.

I was one person for lunch in the bar area. The bartender was my server. She was very friendly. Got the chicken walnut apple spinach salad. It’s gluten free and very tasty though it was a little heavy on toppings and low on spinach. Will definitely come back for it again though. Would give higher rating but have had slow service here before so for now just 3 stars.

Two words, horrible service. Ended up having to get our food to go because after 51 minutes of waiting… we had to go. The waitress seems enthused that we were leaving, instead of apologetic. Tons of people getting trained, hum I wonder why? By the way this was a Monday night.

it took them extremely long time to serve our food.i. f u ever complained about the food quality, they will punish u by taking your plate away and let u wait every longer. The sirloin steak was dry n hard to chew on.

We go here for lunch sometimes and service is always slow. The last time we we’re say in the bar area and our waitress was terrible. She dropped off bread and disappeared. We had empty glasses and she was nowhere to be found. My burger that was ordered medium, was well done. My coworkers that ordered the endless soup and salad gave up on trying to get any second servings. Poor quality service is the only thing that stands out here.

I have to second Jackson R.‘s review as it concerns management pulling fast ones. I recently visited this location for dinner and asked to purchase a gift card as I was waiting to be seated(about a 15 minute wait). At first, no one at the to-go order window even acknowledged that I was standing there. Finally, a server did so and asked if I was there to pick up an order. I responded that I would like to purchase a gift card and was advised that the manager would help me in a moment. The manager, standing near the server, stated that she would help me as soon as she took out a to-go order. I continued to stand there. Several minutes later, I looked across the restaurant to see the same manager filling water glasses and doing things other than taking out that to-go order or helping me with my gift card purchase. Looks like she forgot, or perhaps intentionally ignored, my asking to purchase a gift card. The hostess announced that my table was ready. I was never helped with the gift card purchase. I then retrieved a gift card from the display(advertising a free $ 5 card for later use with the purchase of a $ 25 gift card during today’s visit). As instructed by the display, I took the gift card to my table and asked my server to activate it. He stated that the manager would have to activate it(that’s not what the display said). Many minutes later, no manager. Again, I asked the server for help. This time, he stated the he would take the gift card to the manager because«that usually gets it done quicker.» I agreed. He took the card. A few minutes later, he returned to say that the card would have to be on a check separate from the night’s meal. No problem. I gave him my credit card, and he returned shortly thereafter with the gift card, the $ 5 card for use on a later visit, and my receipt. Time to order food. We did. It was decent. The server did a good job. Time to pay the bill. I attempted to pay with a coupon(that O’Charley’s emailed to me as part of its marketing efforts) and the gift card that I purchased before ordering. The server took the payment without objection, but soon returned to the table to advise me that his manager stated that the card could not be used because it would be 24 hours before it would be activated. I responded that I had never heard of such a thing. The server offered to get the manager, but having grown tired of her non-responsiveness, I declined his offer. Instead, I advised him that I didn’t doubt that his manager told him to relay the message, but I would like to see for myself whether the card had been activated. I called the number on the card and typed in the card number. The automated voice on the other end of the call advised that the card was activated and had a balance of $ 25.00(the amount that I added to the card). I hung up the phone and, suddenly, there was the manager! She does respond! Sometimes. Apparently, she does so only to save face. She advised me that she would cash out my ticket using the gift card and, get this, that the server«completely misunderstood what she said» about the gift card and the now apparently non-existent«24 hour activation» period. The server, not the manager, shortly returned with my receipt. The gift card worked. It did so only about 1 hour, not 24 hours, after I purchased it. The server was polite, he advised me that he was sorry about the confusion and that he «was only the messenger.» I agreed and advised him that I doubted that he could have«completely misunderstood» what the manager said about the gift card. He agreed, and wished me a good evening. Likewise my friend, likewise. It wasn’t his fault that his manager was non-responsive and apparently up to some sort of store-sales-increasing tactic of telling customers that their gift card would take 24 hours to activate(a tactic employed only after her initial avoidance of selling me a gift card failed). The $ 5 bonus for use on a later visit IS the restaurant’s strategy of 1) increasing gift card sales and 2) ensuring that customers return to dine in the near future. The strategy/tactic/gimmick is built-in. There is no need for the manager to make something up(the 24 hour activation façade) to further enhance sales numbers(or whatever else her motivation for doing so may have been). Whatever the manager’s motivation, certainly she should not blame the server when the«fast one» fails. A «fast one» indeed. Fortunately, like Jackson R., the brakes were applied, stopping this«fast one» dead in its tracks. Unfortunately, this experience means that the«$ 5 for use on a later visit» marketing strategy/tactic/gimmick likely will fail too. Due to the misleading hassle I received on this visit, I doubt if I will return to this location or any other for that matter. I would rather throw the $ 5 away than give my business(i.e. my money) to people pulling«fast ones.»

We have come here off and on for the last 8yrs. The food has always been good and the service great. The manager on duty always makes it a point to stop by the tables and ask how the food and service are. Large portions, nice variety, family friendly environment and good tastes make Ocharly’s our go to for a family night out.

I only show up for the California Salad, but I have to say that the last few times they have been a little inconsistent with that dish. Not sure if it’s a management issue or what but I have not been back since they tried to pull a fast one on me and say that the California Salad comes with cold grilled chicken… nice try, but no.

I have been here twice, and this second time was HORRIBLE! I guess because our party was so big(it was my brother’s high school graduation) our server was not all too pleased about serving us. My drinks took forever to come, food came out at different times, he was very impatient and rude. I’m so over this place, but hey I can’t ask for too much customer service — this is Griffin, GA(I’m from there so I know the customer service throughout this entire city).
