I have been going here for about 8 years almost 9 years now. They have a good family atmosphere, friendly staff. They have equipment for every muscle group just about. They also have a juice bar which is great for those times you forgot to bring protein or if you’re in a rush. The only reason I have not given them 5 stars is that the maintenance on some of the equipment is either lacking or slow.

This gym has its ups and downs but over all it’s a decent place to work out. The only issue is out dated, badly repaired equipment. Instead of investing in 40 flat screen TVs, how about replacing all the bent free weight bars? Also their are a lot of idiots who like to dry their clothes in the sauna.

I LOVE this gym. I LOVE this gym so much, I don’t want to even shoot em a review. It’s my secret! Ugh, but I feel like I owe it to them… I joined this gym in February this year, and have been working out 4 – 5 days a week since. I know not everyone would rate this gym 5 stars — but it was everything I was looking for: pool, 24 hours, lots of machines, free weights, tanning, women’s area, personal trainers, free classes, no contract, GREAT price. What you won’t find: cleanliness, ‘meatheads’, 100% working anything, annoying staff, hidden fees, lines for machines or contracts. I haven’t used the Child care, but there is one! I get in this place, get to my workout and get out. It’s perfect. So, if this review makes you join, your welcome.

Friendly staff and has just about everything you would want out of a gym. Not too expensive either.

This gym isn’t the newest or coolest in Gresham, but you can’t beat it for the no-nonsense workout environment. Yeah, some of the equipment is a little old, but it’s better than not having it at all(some of the newer gyms skip some equipment). The staff is friendly and always willing to work with me. I’d make it a five-star review if they put up another platform in the Oly lifting area, added a chalkboard to track progress with other members, removed the worthless butt blaster(or moved it) and gave members the option to play whatever music they wanted to in that area. It closes off, so I could see it becoming a real niche area for a dedicated group. Squat racks, benches, oly platforms. You don’t need much else.

I’ve been a member here for 15 months or so, and can’t say anything negative about it. The staff is super friendly, and the hours of the business is great. Open 24 hrs. Monday-Thursday. If you’re looking for a gym where you can train hard, this is the spot. Affordable, family owned, and lots of different accessories for grips, bars, and cables. I’ve been to EVERY gym in the Gresham area, and this one of the best. Tired of all the corporate gyms where you have to follow a dress code or not allowed to sweat, grunt, or lift to much? Come to olympic gym! Overall 9⁄10

Decent hours. Parking lot needs better lighting. Kind off run down, but good pricing and plenty of old school equipment.

Just joined a couple weeks ago. No pressure sales at all. we were going to do month to month but found out we would save a few hundred bucks if all 3 of us signed up for a year and ended up getting a second year free! Everyone is very friendly and does not bother you. The pool is heated! yay! I use to work out at SWCC in Portland and I hated getting into that cold pool in the morning. LOTS of machines, some could use a little maintenance but it appears they are working on it

They say to give 30 days notice when you need to cancel your membership, and so, because I’m moving to Denver, I put in my notice 40 days out. The issue, however, is I was just under 2 weeks out from my billing cycle date, and so even though I told them on April 1sr that May 8th is my last day, they’re requiring me to pay all the way through May 26th. Seriously? You’re gonna rob me of 18 days worth of membership fees when I’m giving you this much notice? I’ve worked for gyms and fitness companies– and none of them jack with you the way this place does. What a rip off… LA Fitness, Cascade, Bally’s…anywhere other than this place is a wiser investment. Trust me.
