Tasty, fresh food and a warm, cozy atmosphere. The breakfast burrito is one of the best. Homemade hotsauces are kickin’.

I LOVE this place so much! When i came in for the first time, I was quite intrigued by the variety of food and drinks on the menu. I felt like a kid at the candy shop. I ordered the Nutty nachos and grilled cheese and split it between my friend and I and I managed to stay full for a good 5 hours. My friend still obsesses from this day on from the legendary nachos while I still drool over the simple yet extremely delicious grilled cheese. I am super excited to try the rest of the food on the menu! The place was comforting and cozy. It makes Portland Rainfall ten times better than it actually is. There are nice tables near the window and an artificial fireplace that I adore a lot. I could have not been happier with the customer service. The employees are super nice and very helpful.

I just tried this restaurant for the first time for breakfast this morning. The food was hot, good, and quick. It is a low volume restaurant. If you want to get away from the crowds, this is the place. The ambiance of this restaurant was very good. It’s an old converted home. Quite clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This restaurant also manufacturers its own hot sauce. The morning I was there, they were prepping hot sauce, and the whole place smelled like hot sauce, and even burned your eyes. To me, that’s an endearing quality however. They sell coffee, breakfast items, and lunch fare. I would classify it as «Oregon quirky style». While they do sell some meat items, it’s obvious that they shy away from meat products, in favor of nutty and non-meat items. The food was flavorful, and a little on the spicy side. Perhaps a nod toward their hot sauce company roots. It’s worth a try when you are in downtown Gresham.

I went back to try breakfast and it was okay. I don’t think I’d go back for breakfast. My husband and I both ordered a breakfast platter with eggs, potatoes and another protein. He got chicken sausage and it was burnt to a crisp. I got pork sausage and it was super spicy. We both got toast, as well, but it doesn’t come with butter or jam so you have to ask for it. You also have to ask for ketchup/hot sauce/other condiments, which was a bit annoying for a self-serve place. There’s no server, so you’re asking the cashier(who’s super sweet, but is helping everyone) and waiting in line to get things while your breakfast gets cold. I tried a smoothie and it was okay. I’d go back to try a lunch to give them another shot, and would probably try a juice while there.

Never could there be a better time nor a better place to start the new year dining on a healthier note, by enjoying, the thoughtful delicious offerings as this gem of Café has. The Gresham area needed this kind of place and many people searching for a place to dine or meet for breakfast, lunch or a. break from the daily grind. I highly recommend the green curry soup in a cup on side with the Bomb BLT sandwich, an amazing phở-bacon, tomato, lettuce with sliced jalapeños, small spread of peanut butter, on whole grain bread . The.deluxe.nutty burger made fresh daily from a mixture of ground nuts and seeds which is offered as a patty, in the tacos, or as protien option in a very good black bean breakfast burrito. The owner chef also makes and sells incredible hot sauces made from hand selected fresh ingredients, which are sold at the Portland Saturday Market and always available to try on any dish at the café. There are great choices for cold drinks fresh green and healthy . If you want to get a fresh juice pickup, try the Northwest Paradise. It’s a close favorite tie with the healthy hippy. A meal of a smoothie is «the filler» made from dates, mandarin juice, peanut butter, vanilla, kale, incredibly deliciousness. The staff are fun, and friendly, and cool to discuss with a customer, any health request, changes to any meal. They take pride in what they prepare for you and love to ask your input from your experience.

I’ve been to Casies Café once before today. I came with a group of friends who are all vegan, so you can imagine our excitement to have a local place with vegan options. Unfortunately not wasn’t the case. It takes a lot of questioning and reading the menu over and over to figure out if an item is actually vegan-friendly. And even after questioning, the server is saying«uuumm let me ask.» They also don’t specify when an item has honey in it, so it was a huge disappointment for my friend who doesn’t eat bee products. Apparently Casie’s doesn’t like to specify when something is vegan or gluten-free because they feel it will cause people who don’t follow that lifestyle to avoid them. Which is really odd. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt(being a new business and all), my sister and I decided to give them another try today for lunch. She got an Asian salad and I got a hummus wrap. Ten minutes later her salad is ready and I’m still waiting…30 minutes later I’m still waiting. My sister decided to ask about the meal as well as order something to go and the woman says«he’s still working on it.» Okay, that’s fine. So we wait for 20 more minute and there is still no update on my wrap. IT’S A WRAP. It doesn’t involve any cooking process except for the side of protein I added for $ 3, and even that should have only taken 10 minutes at the most to cook. It really should not take an hour to prepare. At this point we are both becoming really upset because two huge groups of people came in after us and they all got their food at this point. And they all ordered burgers and large dishes. So the service is really unacceptable. Long story short, we asked about the wrap one last time the woman says«he totally skipped over that order». So we canceled our orders and asked for a refund. And as we did that the cook walks by and gives us the stink eye. This is your fault, buddy. Congrats on the D– customer service! Casie’s Café blew the second chance we gave them. I highly recommend driving a half hour downtown and eat at a dedicated vegan-friendly establishment that actually cares for their customers.

I am not out in Gresham very often, but the few times I had gone out there, it was difficult to find places that offer vegan options. Well, on a social media, I found out about Casie’s Café. I had one of their homemade vegan burger patties, and it was delicious! The café is well decorated with comfy seating arrangements. I can’t wait to have an opportunity to go back out to Gresham so that I may dine again at Casie’s!

This is not the same café that was here before. These guys are more of an informal restaurant experience than a place for coffee and sweets. They do have some coffee and espresso, but they aren’t the biggest feature. They have a ton of juices and so much delicious food options. My husband and I will definitely add this to our regular rotation. We had the two egg breakfast with the faux-pork patty and the breakfast burrito with the faux-pork patty. My husband enjoyed his two egg breakfast, and said the eggs were perfectly over easy. He said it was like a homemade breakfast. I really liked my burrito. I will be getting it again. So so so good. Can’t wait to try lunch!

I went there for lunch today with 4 friends. Great choices for vegans, gluten free etc. I had the ahi tuna sandwich as did another at our table — it was simply spectacular we both agreed. Service was very attentive and accommodating; changing two orders as two of my dining companions were told anything on the menu could be done gluten free. Three of our party ordered the hemp milk steamer with honey and lavender and declared it the best non-caffeinated hot drink they had every had. I would happily go again tomorrow!

Incredible food. Diverse menu. They have no problem with substituting items. Very friendly staff. The goal is to have the outside area open and expanded hours in the summer. I was shocked to find such incredible food, atmosphere and customer service in Gresham. I can’t imagine anyone not being satisfied when they leave. Juices, smoothies, soups, filling meals and light meals. Kombucha. All around awesome! I have ate there 3 times in a week and probably need to add them to the budget. I work in Gresham and have never had anywhere that can meet my needs, in regards to menu items.

I’ve seen places in this space come and go and have always been bummed when they did not succeed. The space itself is a wonderful old house with a sweet porch and a little backyard. Inside it’s got mahogany trim and just has this warmth to it when you walk in. I went to the counter and did not bother to even look at the menu because I saw they had ramen on for their special. Lucky day for me. I immediately asked if the broth was vegan and he said yes it is. Good beginning for me yet again. I also ordered the lavender steamer since the reviews were all over that and it was a cold day so thought it might warm me up some. I headed into the other room(there is one so look if there are not enough tables in the front) and had me a seat. My drink showed up and I took a sip and fell into a lovely relaxed moment. Sometimes when you order«lavender» drinks you can barely tell that the flavor is there. My ramen showed up with perfectly baked chunky tofu added(per my choice of protein). The noodles were chewy vs. overcooked. The broth was wonderful. There are bits of ginger mixed in as well. They used turnips and some other winter veggies but they did not overwhelm at all. The cook makes the sauces in the bottles that they sell and I actually grabbed all of them and had a little sample party in my soup. I guess Lardo requested that the cook make them a specialty sauce so there’s my name dropper for this place. I gobbled/slurped up my ramen but could not quite finish the huge lavender steamer. BUT. I certainly was not going to leave it and asked for a to go cup so I could continue to imbibe. I was told that they used a special lavender oil and honey syrup. You have your choice of milks as well. Fingers crossed that this time this café will be able to survive in this spot. It’s my favorite one so far. * Prices are very reasonable! I paid 10.00 plus tip for my homemade lunch. *They need more tables to accommodate people.

Nice place to eat, great vegan menu(if you aren’t looking for vegan, they are amazing anyway). Try the honey lavender steamer, the daily specials and the extras. The hot sauce is really well made, the chocolates are excellent and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Will stop in again and again.

If you’ve read my reviews you would know I am a tough reviewer. I am glad to be giving a good review and 5 stars to Casie’s Café. Very inviting and comfortable interior. The menu includes breakfast and lunch items — the 6 of us had lunch, they quit serving breakfast at noon. Ordering take place at the counter. Bussing your on table is expected. Food items are delivered by staff to the table. Homemade soups, salads and sandwiches dominate the menu. We had ahi sandwiches, soups, salads and my 11 year old son’s favorite BLT ever. Amazingly yummy food. We will be back. Check it out. You will not regret it.

We’re here visiting Gresham Oregon for the Grand Opening of Casie’s Case. Gresham is a small town right outside of Portland. This is a must try if your in the Oregon area. This special tribute is a peaceful atmosphere with amazing healthy food. Best food in Gresham hands down. We stopped in for breakfast and lunch 2 days in a row. I give this place 5 stars!
