If you’ve read any of my other reviews of QuikTrip locations up and down the I-85 corridor in South Carolina, you know I’m a huge fan. I made my first stop at the relatively new QT in Greer(store #1114) on Christmas Eve and almost couldn’t have been happier with my pit stop experience. This QT is located off I-85 exit 56(SC14 — Greer, Pelham) past competitor Spinx. One thing every gas station in South Carolina has going for it are the fuel prices. Regular was $ 1.999 per gallon, Plus $ 2.149, and Premium $ 2.229. That was great and all until I hit the road, headed northbound, and saw signs for three more QTs with the following lower prices for regular unleaded(in order): $ 1.95, $ 1.98, $ 1.97. I wonder why this particular QT had the highest price. In metro Atlanta, I’ve noticed all QTs have the same fuel prices. It doesn’t matter which suburb or county the station is in. Aside from the minor price differences, I can’t find much else wrong with this QT. There are 20 spotless pumps, free air, a large immaculate convenience store, and clean restrooms. The store has all sorts of coffee, self-serve frozen beverages, donuts and pastries, sandwiches, hot dogs, burritos, and taquitos. There’s a touchscreen-to-order kitchen that offers made-to-order personal pizzas, chicken strips, toasted sandwiches, soft pretzels, and flatbreads. In addition, there’s a stand selling«fresher» foods such as cheese and vegetable trays, bananas, and assorted fruit bowls. As it stands today, QT is a juggernaut that is changing/has changed the South Carolina I-85 gas station landscape.
