UGH! If I could give Negative stars I would! Placed a large order online for an office meeting and paid for it online. When I went to pick it up it was not ready and then they tried to tell me it had not been paid for. To make matters worse there were only 4 customers in the seating area and only 1 was waiting for food. When my order was finally ready I left and brought it back to work. Guess what? They shorted us on sandwiches & sides. Our office manager had to call and the guy who answered the phone gave mad attitude and she finally had to get a manager on the phone. We were told someone would be bringing by our food in 10 minutes, ha! An hour and 15 minutes later it arrived, minus the SPICYPICKLES! I will NOT be ordering or eating from here again and thats too bad because the soup is fantastic just not worth the hassle!

I usually like here for lunch weekdays: it isn’t too busy and I can read a book on my break. The service is always slow, but when it is usually just me and a few other folks, it isn’t a problem. Today they were packed, and you could tell the stress level was chaotic. Orders were forgotten, my sandwich took an hour to make, was made incorrectly, and then when I asked for it to go(since my lunch break was over by then) it was thrown in a bag with most of my additional items forgotten(The name is The Spicy Pickle. How do you forget that namesake item?) If you aren’t in a rush, go. The guys working there are slow but very friendly. The food is pricey, but it’s a nice big sandwich(and tons better then the crappy Jason’s Deli near by) But if you see more than 6 people in there, turn around

We’ve gone here only once and had no issues. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food came out quick and quality was similar to other Spicy Pickle restaurants. Combined with the BOGO valuepak offer it was a great cheap lunch.

I’ve never eaten at the Spicy Pickle before as never had one near me to but we recently relocated our office into the DTC and my office and I decided to snag a quick bite here. Big mistake. I’m a bit of a picky eater so I ordered a roast beef sandwich on ciabatta bread with ONLY roast beef and orange slices as my side. It cost me $ 10! For meat and bread! Regardless I paid and sat down with my co-workers and waited. And waited. And waited some more. Come almost half an hour later, out comes my sandwich completely loaded with everything. Had to wait another 10 minutes. Their reasoning? «Their really backed up and have 3 new trainees.» All of my co-workers(but one, who waited even longer than me) had different, «harder» sandwiches and were already finished eating. I will not be back.

Really good pizza! Lousy service and tasteless sandwiches. That about sums up my experience with Spicy Pickle. I would really like to try more stuff here. Now, when I said, «really good pizza,» I’m referring to the pizza that was editable cause some parts of the pizza(about ¼ of it) was soggy. The Santa Cruz sandwich was tasteless and the bread was borderline stale. I have higher hopes for this place as this place was almost packed when we sat down. The cashier on the other hand, I’ll call him Mr. Grumpy Gills. Usually, when you order a drink, or in our case water, they hand you the cups… instead Mr. Grumpy Gills tossed them across the table and we had to catch them from falling off of the counter. It could’ve been a one off situation and if it is, please let me know when to come back so I don’t get a soggy pizza, tasteless sandwich and a sour cashier.

This place was ok… I really don’t have much more to say because nothing really stood out about my experience here. While I’m usually not a fan of sandwich/deli type places, a BOGO coupon brought me here last week. With the coupon and getting waters, lunch came to $ 8 and some change so the price tag isn’t horrible but the food didn’t pull me in enough to come and pay full price. I got the Aphrodite pizza, loaded with artichokes, red onion, olives and feta but it had a traditional red sauce to it which I thought it was a unwise choice seeing the flavor it packs(pesto or a white sauce would have been better). Our food came out at different times with my pizza coming out after my friends sandwich so the wait wasn’t long for that but something was just missing. They give you a pickle with your sandwich and luckily my friend doesn’t like pickles so I scored a free one. When I took a bite into it, it was actually spicy. Well played, Spicy Pickle, well played. Dude working the cashier didn’t seem too happy to be there and when I asked for a box for the rest of my pizza he handed me foil, um, ok? I would come back again but only if I had a BOGO coupon to bring the meal to $ 4 or $ 5. It was more of a two star experience than anything but I will give them one more shot to see if it’s any better seeing they just opened and may be having growing pains.

Love the Spicy Pickle but this location always seems to be dirty, disorganized an slow. Today I waited more than 40 minutes for a sandwich and a cup of soup with no explanation or apology. Worse then that it was not even good, it was tossed together and missing ingredients and tasted off.

Let me start off this review with this… I love Spicy Pickle. I think their green chili bisque is amazing, so I will seek out the nearest one just to have this soup. That being said, I went in today and ordered the Turkey Deli Sandwich and a cup of the green chili bisque. They were not terribly busy. I stood there waiting for them to make my To-Go order. I saw the girl ladle out my soup and put it on the to-go counter. Then I watched as they made 9 other sandwiches ahead of mine, all people that ordered AFTER me. 20 minutes later, I see the lady pull out the sourdough bread and begin to make my plain old turkey sandwich… now mind you 9 other sandwiches made before mine, and not ONCE did she wipe down the counter/board in between phases. I get my order and take it back to my office. The soup is cold and my sandwich is covered in red ‘stuff’ from the other sandwiches that were made on the board. Oh and my turkey is fatty, so I threw out my lunch. Because of this experience alone, I will NOT return to this location!

If you order online and don’t check your food before you leave the store… you’re gonna have a bad time. I loved the one in Boulder but after my first visit here I don’t think I’ll ever go back. While the online order process went smooth and they had it ready when I arrived, it was only when I got back to the office when I noticed the bad. I got a Brooklyn and Bandido, pasta salad, and the house salad. When I opened the bag I noticed the Italian dressing from the salad had leaked all over(definitely not my fault) and had soaked into the paper wrapped sandwiches. Don’t pay the extra $ 1 for the salad, it’s too plain. The pasta salad was decent, it had some feta which I love. On to the sandwiches. The Brooklyn was burnt making the edges nearly inedible. Only took a few bites of the center then tossed the rest. I’ve had it in Boulder before and it’s really good but the burnt flavor was all I could taste. The Bandido was pleasantly surprising, cheesy, flavorful, and correctly panini’d. The pickles were amazing, but I think they’re the same no matter which store you visit. Overall, don’t get the house salad and unwrap any sandwich before you leave the store… then maybe you’ll have a good time.
