I really like this place. All the people are very nice. I’ve gone to Pamela a few times for a haircut and she’s great! Very flexible schedule.

I got a Living Social deal for gel nails over 2 years ago and I have enjoyed every one of them. Since then I have purchased two more packages which are extremely reasonable. I go to Shannon and she is wonderful. She is fun, professional and good. Unlike most nail techs, Shannon does a dry manicure which adds several days to a week in between appointments. It also eliminate any fungus you get under your nails which you get when you put gel on wet nails. Shannon is very accommodating to my busy life style and has night and weekend appointments. I recommend her highly!

My aunt and I purchased a Groupon deal for shellac manicures with Shannon. This has been by far the best deal I’ve ever purchased on Groupon. Shannon is wonderful and my nails always look fantastic. When I first started seeing Shannon my nails were a mess, as I had had fake nails put on for my wedding. Shannon has been working with me for weeks to get my nails stronger and healthier and now they are more beautiful then they have ever been. Our Groupon deal is over but my aunt and I will continue to see Shannon for all of our manicures!!!

I recently learned that Salon Cherry Hills had hired a couple ladies to do massage. I met both ladies, Autumn and Sheri, and arranged to get a deep tissue massage the same day. It was so convenient(and affordable), I couldn’t resist. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and have already been back for a second visit. Although I did not make an appointment in advance for my first visit, Sheri was so accommodating and gracious. The next time I called them at their new service, 720−545−2595. So easy.

Shannon is an example of the worst in customer service around. I have repeatedly tried to schedule with her, but there are so few appointments available and none during times when someone with a day job can schedule. She doesn’t return voicemail messages or texts and never answers the phone. Do not go here.

This review is specifically for Nails by Shannon & Kim, which is located in Salon Cherry Hills Day Spa. I’m so conflicted about my experiences here. Shannon seriously does the best shellac manicure I’ve ever had. My most recent manicure lasted at least 3 weeks before I got my first chip. Plus they offer packages you can purchase for big savings — 10 shellac manicures for $ 150 is a great deal, no matter how you slice it. Shannon is very no-nonsense, but she’s pleasant enough. The salon itself is not a luxurious or relaxing experience — it’s generally very busy, brightly lit, and there are virtually no decorations or anything to give you the«spa» feeling, so you’ll be disappointed if that’s what you’re looking for. The manicure itself doesn’t have any soaking or massage, because according to their website, the products require a dry manicure. I personally go for the paint job, not the luxury of a hand massage, so that doesn’t bother me. Shannon uses CND products, which in my opinion is the highest quality of shellac available, and she has a pretty good selection of colors to choose from. Appointments are scheduled online with genbooks, which I find easy to use and more convenient than having to figure out an appointment time over the phone. The huge downfall of working with Shannon(and Kim) is actually getting an appointment. They are constantly running Groupon deals, so when you go online to book an appointment, don’t expect anything sooner than at least 3 or 4 weeks out, and that’s if you’re lucky! I’ve worked around this problem by just scheduling my appointments months in advance, but if you need a last minute nail job, this is not the place for you. I’ll keep going here because it’s conveniently located for me and it’s a very high quality manicure; and when I need something last minute, I’ll just go elsewhere(and probably be disappointed in the quality).

I bought a groupon for shallec manicure and was a little skeptical after I had to go online to make my first appointment that was almost a month out. After reading the reviews, I thought that I have made a huge mistake and wasted my money. But low and behold it was worth the wait! I have had 2 manicures with Shannon now, and the shellac has lasted longer than any other place I have been too(which is a lot, I’m sord of picky). The appointments were easy to make after the first go around. Yes they are not your pamper kind of manicure, but I dont need all that. Shannon makes my nails look good, the shellac last a very long time, and I always look forward to seeing her.

I found Shannon through a Groupon originally, and have gotten 4 or 5 shellac manicures with her so far. The value that she offers is incredible. She does a great job on my nails, pays attention to detail, and my nails last for a full 3 weeks. Some of the reviews here don’t make sense to me. She does a dry manicure because that’s what the shellac products instruct her to do! I have gone to places that soak my nails in water or use cuticle oil and then the shellac polish will peel way before 2 weeks. Yes, there’s an online scheduling system, but it’s quite easy to use and I schedule my appointments in advance since she’s so popular.

Purchased a groupon for a shellac manicure with Kim. When I made my appointment, it was through an online tool and there were very few times available. Also, I had to designate whether I was having shellac removed as well, which makes me think it’s possible that they charge for that service. Kim was nice enough, but it was a really weak manicure. She trimmed my cuticles dry. In fact, she never soaked my hands at all. She started to apply the shellac/gel after filing my nails(oh, and she missed one) so there was still dust from that on my hands. The gel peeled off the next day. Kim mentioned that they were offering a deal for 10 gel manicures for $ 125. Normally she charges $ 45 for a shellac/gel manicure(which would be expensive even if she was a knockout manicurist). After having my nails done by her, I would agree that she’s probably giving a $ 10 manicure, so with the deal, at least she’s priced herself correctly.

I would love to be able to properly rate this place. However, I purchased a groupon for nails and tried to make a reservation. When I went to make the reservation it said the first available reservation was not until November! I called the number for Shannon which is who the appointments needed to be booked with and her voicemail stated not to leave a message because she would not return my call. Then I called the front desk to this place and was told that they had no control over her times and reservations. They also rudely told me that I should have thought about this when I purchased the groupon. I have no idea why it is my job to think about this. Horrible. Don’t purchase from them!
