I went to the wine loft and it was out of business. Went next door to Lime and it was shut down as well!

Walked into this restaurant after a comedy show and was shown to a table in the dining area. Our group was given water, menus, and chips… and that’s it. We sat there for 20 minutes as our waiter talked with his co-workers and cleaned tables. We tried to make eye contact several times, but nothing. I noticed that the other tables had empty glasses, empty chip baskets, and looked like they were waiting too. We got up and left and I walked up to our waiter and mentioned the awful service, and he turned and looked at the table with a surprised look on his face like he didn’t even know we were there. The reason this restaurant gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the chips were delicious. They seriously need some work on their service.

Lime… yum. Dollar tacos here sure are tasty. This is probably the only good thing about this place… that and its location next to landmark making it a good place for dinner and a movie, HOWEVER… Give yourself at least 2 hours to eat before your movie time because this place has THEWORSTSERVICE. Being a server myself, I don’t understand how the waitress can be completely overwhelmed when she has someone making her drinks and another person to bring out the food. All she has to do is take our order and maybe even check back once or spoil us and stop by twice before we need our check. Tonight was probably the third and worst time I have been here. Didn’t get chips and salsa until after our tacos came out(they come free before hand usually), it took her 15 to 20 minutes to greet us and get our drink order. Once our tacos arrived we had no silverware, napkins, or plates. We waited but I eventually had to get up and grab them myself from the wait station.(;/I was hungry!) To top it all off, when we wanted to order a second drink and my eyes were scanning for her, I spotted her at another table taking shots! whaaaaa??? Thank God another girl ended up taking over and we got out of there in time for the movie. If you want cheap but yummy tacos… this is tasty, but your time will be a wastey!

Lime, an american cantina… Does an american cantina mean it comes from a can? I have never had such sub par mexican food. I can safely say this, as I am popping tums like nobodies business. Our food was all from cans, except for the tortilla chips. They were home made, but a little oily. The salsa was from a jar. I had cheese enchilladas, and they were so salty that I was only able to eat half of my meal. The meal was grossly over priced.(10.95 for three cheese enchilladas, and a tiny side of microwave rice and beans). The waiter was very aloof, and we sat for 10 minutes after our plates were cleared, to get our check. We were the only people in there, eating dinner. The bar had several people at it. Maybe the drinks are ok. I won’t go back here. A vegetarian meal for two should not be 30 bucks, especially if you can’t eat it.

Happened to come in on «Taco Tuesday». Had shredded beef and chicken tacos for a buck a piece. We thought they were really good-surprised by large pieces of lean beef in the shredded beef ones. We started with happy hour apps and margs. For $ 3 the margs and guac were a good deal. The queso was basically cheese whiz. Having not ordered anything from the regular menu, I can’t speak to that, but the Taco deal cant be beat.

I probably should have read the reviews before I came here for happy hour. It seemed like such a good deal until I tasted their food: fried, greasy, non mexican tasting food. We tried 4 apps, and even ordered a 5th(which the bartender forgot all about and never even ordered) and everything was pretty bad. The chips were terrible, which is a bad sign for a place that calls itself mexican, and the atmosphere was like a cheesy nightclub. The drinks tasted watered down, and to be fair, I am extra picky about drinks having been a bartender for years, but even the house margarita had zero flavor. I switched to wine immediately, knowing there was no way to mess that up. Long story short next time, we’ll go somewhere else.

Margaritas are on point!!! And the Peach Mojito … sooooo refreshing ! But the best part was the dag nab Chile Relleno … Who knew?! they had good ones. Highly recommend you order this if you like rellenos. a lil pricey so try to make it for Mojito Thursday … or Taco Tuesday

This place used to be awesome, what happened??? I hope the owners are reading all of these reviews! The one off 6th Avenue used to be my #1 favorite spot in Denver, but I now live in DTC. I wonder if the one off 6th is still outstanding? I am too scared to try. =/So sad, Lime, so sad.

If you are looking for delicious Mexican/Latin food in the Tech Center, I suggest you go elsewhere. While the location is fine(Landmark Village), and the atmosphere is hipper than a typical Mexican place, the food wasn’t great. I love ceviche and was so disappointed to find the ceviche here tasted overwhelmingly like watery dirt. The nachos and queso appetizer was ok, but not great. Maybe best just to stick to drinks here? The service was fast and friendly though.

Horrible food. I really wanted to like this place… but it was disappointing. Everyone says the best thing to eat here is the free flour tortilla chips and salsa, which I did not try. I ordered off the gluten free menu, shrimp scampi something or other. My food tasted like vomit. Horrible! When I told the waiter, he said everyone complains about the food there and looked totally miserable. I almost felt sorry for the guy. He said several people sent it back and I should have too. I would have said something, but the waiter was pretty much missing in action the whole night.

Horrible horrible horrible! This place is nothing more than an over priced Chili’s! The portions were small and the food was overpriced. I literally had maybe three ounces of tuna on my fish tacos(about half a fillet) spread over three corn tacos! The salsa was the best thing about the restaurant, but the chips were the greasiest things ever. My entire table(party of 6) was sick to their stomachs an hour after dinner. Bottom line: over-priced, poor tasting food, poor quality. I could have had a better meal at wahoo fish taco!

Almost every week on Tuesday, my friends and I try to fit all of us in a booth and feast on the $ 1 tacos. Nothing better than a buck per taco and $ 4 margs to satisfy your stomach and wallet. A cheap good meal is awesome, but poor wait staff, not so much. Forgetting food, drinks, or just ignoring a table is not good in my book. I know Tuesdays are insanity there but there they need to either train them better or find new staff. Also, do not sit on the north side because the ‘mood lighting’ should not be considered as lighting because it is almost pitch dark. You can barely see the person across from you and the music is blaring. Will I go back? Yes, the food is great everything else is kind of a bummer.

First off, I want to say that our waiter was great — I’d give him 5 stars, but this restaurant is pretty bad. I believe Lime Cantina is a chain and I don’t know if those are any better due to this being my first experience with them. We sat on the patio and that was nice, but that means I have no idea what the interior is like. I order their combo place with a chile relleno that was breaded in panko and corn meal and topped with green chile… it was hard as a rock and the flavor was just not there; the chicken enchilada with their red sauce was also terrible due to a serious lack of flavor; the only good thing on my plate was the sweet corn tamale because it was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The rice and beans were pretty crunchy, either from being under a heater all day or not being cooked through. I was there with a party of 8 and none of us like what we ordered. We won’t be going back to any of their locations.

Most Tuesday’s [considering they have $ 1tacos, $ 4margs and other awesome specials!] i can be found at a Lime scattered throughout Denver. i’ve been to them all! I really dig this location though. although tucked into the back corner of the Landmark center, it’s cute, cozy and ultra cool inside with a spacious patio outside! my party of 8 and i were seated in one of the huge booths designed for parties of our size and noshed on the DELICIOUS homemade chips and salsa [which i crave more than i should!] followed by the cheapest gourmet tacos i know… for a whopping $ 1! $ 1 makes you holler… seriously! ha :) the only downside… it’s super packed on Tuesdays, which means the wait can be long, and the service can be slow. our poor waiter was running his butt all over the restaurant and approached our table many times with sweat dripping down his face… um, not the best thing to look at when eating… but understandable! all in all, i’ll prob be back :)

I have been here twice and have been disappointed both times. The signature flour tortilla chips are greasy and tasteless. The salsa is below average. The appetizers and the food are overpriced for the quality. The food looks good, but the flavors seem«off». .. like there is an imbalance of chili powder to cumin to garlic. .. or something similar.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

When I go out for Mexican I am pretty laid back. I WANT to like the place before I’m even there. This place was disappointing though. The drinks are good and reasonable($ 24 for a piture of margs) and they have weeknight specials like $ 2 tacos, $ 5 burritos and kids eat free nights. We came with a group of 9 and made a reservation serveral days in advance. They sat us right away, but in this weird couch area that felt like somewhere you would wait for your table. It had a low wicker coffee table that was impossible to eat from. We ordered the tacos that were on special, and some of them were«naked»(no shell) and they served them to us on big shared plates! how are supposed to eat naked tacos shared on a plate with a bunch of other peoples food on it? or messy street tacos for that reason? The service was spotty, and it was too loud to have a conversation. Our group will definitely not go back.

Put me in a Mexican restaurant and it’s hard to disappoint. Of course the salsa can be too mild or the rice too dry but in reality, I find pretty much anything tolerable. That’s why I was surprised to find myself so unpleased with my experience at Lime at the Landmark. I’ve been to the one downtown before and wasn’t blown away, but definitely not deterred to never going again. Me and a couple friends headed here to grab dinner and drinks and I was happy we didn’t have to wait for a table on a Friday night. We ordered a couple mojitos and a margarita to start. Our waiter didn’t ask us if we wanted any appetizers or anything to begin even though we already were set on getting some guacamole. Instead, he left and eventually came back with our drinks but it definitely took way too long. It seemed as if he were the only waiter in the entire restaurant but even if he was, he never bothered to explain the slow service nor apologize. Instead, he eventually took our order and slowly but surely our food came out. Thank goodness I was in great company or else I would have gotten even more upset at the lack of attentiveness he showed. Even though we didn’t want to, we couldn’t help but make it through an entire basket of their thick chips and salsa before our guacamole came. Although I really liked it, we were practically too full to even eat that. For our main dishes, I split the corn tamales. We could barely each finish one because we were so full from the aforementioned chips. I’ve always been a fan of their tamales and these definitely were tasty but I already had a bitter taste in my mouth. The mojitos were good but a bit on the pricy side. The food was fine but definitely hurt by the poor service. In my opinion, there’s nothing at Lime worth coming back for when there are other great dining options in the area.

I ate at Lime with a group of coworkers the other day. We had a group of 6 and were sat in a large booth. One person in our party was uncomfortable and wanted a table, so she asked if we could be reseated. The waiter had no issue in reseating us and we moved to a table so someone wasn’t trapped over by a wall. Once we were reseated, there was a gentleman in a suit, turned out to be the manager, who kept walking by and glaring at us. He’d sometimes stop and just stare. It was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. We asked the waiter what the issue was, and he said his boss was frustrated we had messed up the balance of waiters/tables since people are assigned to areas. That hardly seems like our problem, as guests, we just want to be comfortable. But, the manager continued to act super creepy, so someone in our party finally got up and asked him if there was an issue. He left us alone after that. But, seriously, what a way to treat customers! Creep. It took a long time for the food to come out, and every time I eat at Lime, I’m just disappointed. The food is ok, but not worth the price they charge for it. I’m really over Lime — there are other options in the area that provide much better food and service.

Good, stiff drinks. Horrible food. Loud atmosphere. I should know better after my experience with the Lodo Lime Restaurant, but I met a friend here for drinks and dinner. It was bad. It was one star, except for the nice bartender and the great drinks. Seriously, the food left me nauseous. Blech.

Went with a group for drinks and appetizers after work and really enjoyed it. It’s a great little area with a bunch of shops, restaurants, a movie theater, and a comedy club. I love the Lime location in downtown Denver, so I knew I’d enjoy this one as well. They have fantastic drinks and I’ve enjoyed every appetizer I’ve had there so far. Happy hour of $ 3 margaritas was a welcome surprise too. Great place for a drink after work, or dinner with a group.
