After eating here twice I’d have to say this is some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The miso soup, sesame chicken, and lo mein were all perfect. The lo mein noodles were the best I’ve ever tasted. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone. Delivery only took 45 min on a Friday night as well.

So dissapointed. The spring rolls were almost completely noodles, with almost no veggies and only one shrimp. The hot and sour soup was all broth and tasted way off. The tai chen chicken was hard and cold over greasy vegetables, and the pad Thai was some of the worst we’ve ever had — not even recognizable as pad Thai. Never again. Free delivery is not worth it.

The sesame chicken is some of the best I’ve had and I always take advantage of their two-free-egg-roll special! China Lee is also very affordable for the quality of food. The restaurant itself is small so delivery or take-out is probably your best option.

Wow. This was terrible. I relied on the 4 star rating. I am a Unilocal lover and have found a lot of great restaurants through Unilocal and the reviews. I ordered the Lemon Chicken, which is fried(yuck) and tough like gristle with a flavorless calorie heavy sauce. The texture to the chicken was super odd. I also ordered the lettuce wraps, again fried. Nothing special about them at all. The steamed dumplings had some sort of pink meat-ish stuff in them. The dipping sauce makes them edible. And lastly, we ordered the Vietnamese eggrolls. Traditionally Vietnamese Spring Rolls are wrapped in a thin rice paper and loaded with fresh herbs and vegetables. Its an eggroll with meat inside. Don’t do it. There is absolutely NOTHING fresh about this food.

We had a great time eating here last night. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, the menu is awesome, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. There aren’t many places in Denver where you can find authentic Chinese food, and even fewer where they have the Chinese menu translated into English. Highly recommend, whether you’re looking for sesame chicken or more authentic cuisine. Try their special french toast, very unique.

Pretty good, and dirt cheap. At the time of my summer 2015 visit, they have lunch specials for $ 6.95 that include soup, an entrée, a side of fried rice and a wanton, and a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Hard to beat!

China Lee has awesome Chinese food. It’s my go to Chinese in Denver, great food, great price, great service. Don’t miss this outstanding family Chinese food experience.

Do you like chinese and live near the DTC area? This is the best chinese south of Hampden. They are quick and the food tastes great. My favorites are the sesame chicken and hot and sour soup. Great lunch menu and prices too.

We’ve ordered delivery from here several times. The prices are low, the food is good(albeit very greasy!), and delivery is fast. We’ve found that most of the menu items we order tend to taste similar to each other, whether chicken, beef, rice, noodles, etc… fortunately, that shared flavor is good! We’ll continue to order from here whenever we’re craving greasy American Chinese food.

Very fast delivery. Had a family dinner and a Vietnamese soup it was very inexpensive and delicious. For extremely fast food they don’t comprise taste. Portions were more than enough for 3 adults.

About four of us ordered delivery from China Lee. We ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken, the Fried Beef, and Chicken Lo Mein. The Fried Beef was really tasty, and the Sweet and Sour chicken was alright as well. The Lo Mein was pretty bland though and didn’t have much flavor at all. Their delivery was about average at 30 minutes, and the prices were about in line with most other Chinese restaurants. I wouldn’t mind ordering from there again, I just won’t order the Lo Mein.

I ordered dinner from here tonight and it was so great! I got the pad thai with shrimp, and hot and sour soup, both of which were great. I also had delivery, and I was satisfied with how quickly I got the food. The online ordering was extremely easy as well. I will absolutely be ordering from here again!

Service was great food was crappy… Everything is processed and fried, they must order it straight off the Sysco truck… This could be a one time bad experience. Again the staff was so nice and attentive I hate to give it such a low rating, but it’s the food I’m after. I probably will not give this place a second chance… But a lot of people like it so try it out. I hope I am wrong.

No. Just, no. I ordered the mongolian beef, asked for it extra spicy. I also ordered crab wontons. Delivery was pretty fast. However, the food was AWFUL. The beef tasted like fish. HORRIBLE. Not spicy at all. Wontons had no flavor. Will NOT be ordering from here again.

My husband and I were in no mood to cook dinner last night and wanted to try a new chinese place. I’m pretty picky when it comes to Asian Cuisine. But this place was pretty good! We had the crab cheese wontons, steamed rice, general tso’s chicken and lo mein. it also came with 2 free egg rolls. All in all I thought the meal as a whole was good. It arrived fairly quickly which always makes me more than happy. I loved the general tso’s chicken. It was a little more spicy than some places, but it had the right amount of sweetness to it! The hubby liked it as well, and his wontons and egg rolls. But we both didn’t love the lo mein. The noodles were huge. I’ve never seen chicken lo mein come with such humongous noodles. And the flavor wasn’t the best. But that wont deter us from eating at China Lee again!

I’m always scared to try new Chinese places — Americanised Chinese food places always seem to fall into two categories — great or terrible. Luckily, China Lee fell into the former rather than the latter. Now, keep in mind — this is your typical American Chinese food. Nothing here is going to remind you of backpacking the silk road, et cetera — let’s be real. However, if you’re looking for American classic Chinese, China Lee does it well. We ordered steamed vegetables with ginger sauce and sesame beef during lunch rush(I live in the DTC). Both arrived so quickly I was sure it was the UPS guy at my door — I want to say 15 minutes. The food was piping hot, fresh, and the portion sizes were huge(I made two big meals out of one lunch portion), at least for this girl. The things I look for in Chinese places like this are — freshness of vegetables(crunchy, not wilted and sad or from frozen), sauces that aren’t so sweet they taste like candy, and good quality meat(I’m not bothered if it’s dark meat or white meat or whatever, just as long as I’m not eating deep fried gristle) and China Lee checked all the boxes. Bonus, their egg rolls had thin, crispy paperlike skins(not the thick, bumpy kind) and were fried perfectly and not greasy. I’d rate them closer to a 4.5, and may up my rating once we’ve ordered from them a few more times, but generally I think China Lee is a pretty reliable Americanised Chinese place.

Absolute favorite! Everyone needs a go-to Chinese takeout place, and this is mine! This place is extremely affordable, has amazing food, and delivers it right to my home. Delivery and pick-up orders are completed quickly. The restaurant offers free delivery for orders over $ 10. HINT: Order from China Lee through GrubHub! They have a coupon for 2 free egg rolls with a $ 20 purchase and free crab and cheese wontons with a $ 25 purchase.
