This place has some of the tastiest chicken you can find in the DTC area. Their specialties are the ground chicken or the kabob chicken, and both are fantastic. I think #12 is the combo, good if you want to share with a buddy and try both types of chicken. I love the bread they serve with the chicken, and the yogurt is super tasty. Sumac really makes the rice awesome. It’s on every table. I had never tried it before and was impressed at the tart, salty flavor. They also have a wide variety of spicy sauces for dipping. Staff was also very friendly. I recommend you check them out for a change of pace.

This is good Persian food! Koobideh kabob is succulent, melt-in-your-mouth, as is the perfectly prepared Persian rice. Wonderful place for a weeknight take out meal if you’re pressed for time but need something nourishing and healthy. A real treat to have this in Denver, highly recommended!

I had never been so insulted in my LIFE! I went to this place a few months ago. Not a big deal I found a hair in my food. It happens. I told the lady behind the counter about it. The manager came out and apologized. He asked if I wanted another. After refusing to take another. He insisted that i take another as a kind gesture. I accepted. I’m on a diet so I haven’t been here for awhile. So I was craving it today and went to get some on my lunch break. He recognized me and said, «I have a situation to discuss with you.» I was shocked. I thought maybe he was going to apologize for the last time and thank me for coming back even after the incident. He didn’t. Instead he went on about how he investigated the strand of short black hair, and went on about how the hair was«planted» on the food. It was only myself and one other lady in this place. Not to mention I was sitting in front of the people who worked there and served me. I think they would have noticed me «planting» a piece of my hair into the food. He said that it wasn’t his hair and went on about how the hair had come from outside of his establishment. Basically telling me that it was mine, and i placed it in my food. This is ridiculous. I couldn’t believe how he insulted me. I mean i literally came back there because I enjoyed the food regardless of the hair in my food and he just went on to insult me. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my LIFE! Obviously there isn’t a whole lot of business in this place, because I haven’t been there for awhile, and he recognized me. Never again.

3 stars? 4 stars? I’m not sure. This is a Persian place in a strip mall with surprisingly good food options for the burbs. I was actually going to go to a soup place two doors down, but saw this and it sounded better. Anyway, the menu is pretty limited. It’s chicken made in two or three different ways. And then, you can get the sandwhich option of each. They do have specials that on this given day were beef I believe. I’m not sure if that’s the case everyday. The restaurant itself is pretty minimalist, maybe 10 tables, a couple Persian-esque pictures on the wall. The food, described as served on a bed of rice… um, it’s a king size bed of rice. I think I ate half of it and you couldn’t really tell. I got the #2, the chicken kabob with vegetable rice. The chicken was delicious! It tasted like a bit of an Indian curry-esque chicken, and the vegetable rice was great! If they had more food options, I’d go four stars easily as the food was definitely four star quality. I’m deducting a star for the limited options for food. But, as Arnold says in that crappy movie… I’ll be back!

Pretty Goood. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. Give it a shot. If you don’t like chicken then don’t bother because that’s all they got.

This place has only been open 6 weeks, and it’s FANTASTIC. The food is super yummy and plenty of it. I could mainline the taziki alone!!! The owner made sure we knew what were were ordering, went through the menu with us, and out to the table to check on us. It’s a little gem in the middle of a cluster of chains. The décor is bright and clean… what a GREAT place.

Fantastic food, super clean, reasonable prices, and nice people. We had two of the stews, white rice, herb rice, chicken kebob and kookier. All were delicious. The spices are just right and the meat tender. I strongly recommend it.

The number 1 chicken dish is what I ordered. Came with rice, cucumber salad, yogurt sauce and a thin Tortilla. Ok not a tortilla in a Persian restaurant. Any way I hope you get the idea. Whatever it is called it was fine. The cucumber salad was dry so I mixed it with the rice and it was fine. The chicken was moist. The yogurt sauce was tasty. The best part of lunch was the three gentelman and their discussion. I wasn’t really listening but could not help hearing a few things they said. I am not rushing back healthy or not. I love this kind of food but this place is lacking something for me.

Chicken Kabob is all about the Chicken. Even with a limited menu the chicken is very good. I had the #1 Chicken Kabob «A generous portion of boneless, skinless breast of chicken marinated and covered with special spices. Grilled to perfection on a bed of plain basmati rice together with our yogurt sauce and cucumber salad.» The chicken is not spicy but does have a lot of flavor to it. I had the *vegetable rice. It is unique as I have never had it before. It taste rather light, soft, and a little dry, but I feel it’s the nature of the dish. I am used to white rice, which can be heavy, and wet. I usually don’t like yogurt, but I like theirs. And the cucumber salad taste like fresh cut cucumbers, with tomatoes and sauce. It’s may be rated as a single $, but if you include a drink, and tax it gets closer to $$. Family meals start at 26.95 to 39.95.(to go only) The menu also has Sandwitches and Stews. *they have plain rice as well

I just noticed this new place near work(yay!) and it’s good! Like the other person said — not very extenisive menu, but the name is «Chicken Kabob». I got the #7 Chicken Kabob and Koobideh combo. I’m happy I did. Never tried it before, but the Koobideh was good — like a mellow chicken version of kofte or gyro — but very moist and tender — tasted like it might have been marinated in yogurt. I need to try the special or stew next time. I’m very happy to have a new healthy place to have lunch! I like supporting local little companies, too.
